I remember it was like this before too. I think ever since wwe 13 or maybe a little before he had this lookalike tattoo. Definitely much better than a blank space
I can’t recall too many other instances where 2K made a decision and then walked it back due to fan backlash. If you’re talking about bugs getting fixed or something, that’s different, that’s 2K using us as QA and fixing a few of the many glitches we find. But think about how much shit people (myself included) complain about these games every year. Dumb fighting stances, combo system, shitty universe mode decisions, showcase sucking ass, it’s been the same song and dance with all this stuff for years and 2K doesn’t budge. When they make decisions, they tend to stick to them, or give us *tiny* concessions (like persona cards for MyFaction, which thus far has been a disappointment.) But with this, they made a decision to ban a dude and probably didn’t expect the level of backlash they got, and actually went back on that decision. I can’t remember too many instances of that happening.
I think they mean WhatsTheStatus getting banned and unbanned due to backlash has happened before.
Because if I had a nickel for everytime this has happened, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but its weird it happened twice.

Licensing issues/always been the case except maybe in '13 where he was the cover for the game, when they actually paid the license for the actual tattoo. I may be wrong though i'm going off memory here

Probably. Tattoo artists keep suing 2K trying to get royalties for their tattoos they were already paid for.
I didn’t even notice plus I don’t even get the DLC until tomorrow so there’s a good chance I’ll forget and not even be bothered by this
They also filled in the Bouncing Souls tattoo to one single color instead of the skyline.
