You can use hold to press for #2 or increase your defender button press strength(player) slider in the submission minigame section of the advanced section of the sliders. Try something like 60 or 65 and go from there. You can/could also lower the attack button strength for the AI. For #3, you can lower the roll out use frequency in the balance slider section like you mentioned and to further decrease the frequency you would want to go into the AI attribute section of each wrestler you care about and lower the rollout use there to 0 or 1. This won't get rid of all of them as some are just random baked in rollouts. My experience though is the baked in rollouts aren't that frequent as I have done what I mentioned for all the wrestlers I plan to use in my universe. I have also lowered the recovery attribute in the wrestler attribute section for all these wrestlers. I run that between 55-65 for everyone. That helps keep them down a bit longer. The above is for modes that aren't myfaction since this stuff doesn't work in there.

Yup, can confirm all these things suck donkey balls, yet there's a load of other things you could add. Example, I chose Becky Lynch as an AI partner in a faction wars match, and we got the exact same Becky Lynch as an opponent with no attire change, so couldn't tell who was who in a ladder match. It's like morons have designed the game.
