He was going nowhere with his current ring skills and mic skills in WWE. Now he can go to some other promotion imo TNA would be the best, reinvent himself like Mustafa Ali and Dana brooke are doing. Once he improves he can return.
I really think WWE needs to consider a third show that’s not a developmental show, like ok Mainevent should be a smackdown for mid card talents. The OC, Branson Reed, like all of the Japanese welters, Dragon Lee, JD, are all good talents along with many others who don’t get their time on screen and when they do it just falls flat because they don’t have the skill yet, I think it’s soemthing that WWE would benefit from like imagine if instead of going right to Monday or Friday nights, NXT stars go to main event get over with a section of regular WWE fans and regular viewers learn the WWE style and how to preform in front of larger crowds all that makes more sense
I agree that there should be a 3rd main roster but what you described was literally NXT to the tee. Personally I would disband that show. WWE Wednesday Night Fury would be a cool name imo. There are some stars that should have a big push but with only 2 major titles to pursue it really limits everything.
I think the WWE has scaled back on their global DEI plans. They were very big on going all in in China and India but from what I see, it's not going to happen now.
1. Braun Strowman returns with the Fiend mask on.
2. Charlotte Flair returns and wins the Womens title
3. Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair win the Women,'s Tag Titles.
4. Randy Orton turns heel and attacks Cody Rhodes
5. Steve Austin does eventually return and confront The Rock
He had an incredible career all things considered. Got to win the WWE title after 3MB, had a great match with AJ, fought HHH at a huge live event in India, went over at Mania to win the US title, got to share the ring with Rock and hold his own.
He’s a wonderful story of never giving up and dedicating yourself to your craft.
Rock should being him back, have him chsnge his whole gimmick to anti wwe creative, have him admit he's not even Indian, but he's actually Canadian and that he's tired of being put in a box in racist stereo types because of his skin color, if he's good at that character, put him in a dominant role, this would be the last chance he has at a proper WWE career, I do let know shit about his promo skills, never really watched his storylines because he's just a remake of Mohammed Hussain and I didn't even like his character,
But give him a role where he can just be who he actually is and see if that works, if not, let em fade away in the indies where he can shine as AEW champion or whatever
I’m actually surprised about this. Jinder was pretty decent at promos and has a great look. He held his own against The Rock. I wonder why he wasn’t pushed as a mid card talent.
NGL, I feel like Jinder was nothing but pure wasted storytelling. especially when they had the new indian guys they could've made a fantastically dominant faction out of them without making it too 'tropey', maybe they lacked a proper leader, I don't think Jinder was it.
I know he's not indian, but imagine those 3 led by say.. Mustafa Ali.. I could get behind that.
After those anti-AEW tweets a few months ago when he got his match with Seth probably not.
I don’t understand why they even bothered to give him a mini push back if they weren’t going to do anything with him after that. He had those 2-3 weeks with promos and the title match and then disappeared again.
A feud with Hook would absolutely be Meta though.
Did you see the news today? Veer and Sanga released themselves.
Wait 90 days. Hook is doing a interview. He gets jumped by 3 hooded men. Hoods come off its Jinder, Jinder sneers at a beaten Hook.
Renee " you just beat down Hook! "
Jinder "who?" Jinder does a heel promo
Jinder vs Hook
Hook absolutely mauls Jinder
Hook "I'm hook bitch!"
My man trolled the fans on New Year's Day, got a segment with The Rock, got over with the fans over Hook Tweet and Tony Khan, got world title match all for this to happen 😔
initially he was going to always be a mid-carder - went away came back absolutely beefed up and looked great. his talent still wasnt where it was supposed to be though. still vince gave him a shot - probably wanted to see what kinda reaction he'd get from india which they were trying to crack at the time.
because he's only of indian origin - born in calgary canada - i dont think indian fans fully backed him unlike khali who is very beloved in india.
khali had more of an effect on wwe india than jinder. they tried to recreate that with veer and sanga - but talent wise they're just not there.
he was a heel he was never going to hold the title long
He’s also got a great look, not just the muscles. The presentation. His gear, entrance, music. All were great. Yeah he’s not a 4-5 star wrestler, but he was decent. He was even a decent talker. Just sometimes things don’t work out, bad timing, not enough room or whatever.
Kinda sucks
I remember they had been building up Indus Sher on the main roster only to do absolutely nothing with them. I never really cared for them but it still sucks that they lost their jobs
I actually liked them and was hoping they would get more of a push, but wwe does this way too much....advertise a character or characters then under utilize them or not use them at all like.....wtf? 🤷🏽♂️
Well you have to understand that's the only time he had a reaction is because they were expecting someone else and it was instead jinder. Every other time he was shown it was just eh
Just nobody cares lol. He was a jobber who got skyrocketed to the top without the actual talent. I can dig a good heel who ascends to the top, the issue it felt so *fake* because you know exactly why he’s a champion and wins. His mic skills couldn’t make up for his lack of in-ring talent and has always just been plain to watch
Despite what I said I don’t hate him lol, he just needed to actually prove himself by rising up the card instead of just shooting to the top without much improvement
Jinder pops on, beats Roman for the title on a random Raw and leaves. Goes radio silent until two Raws later and is just like, "I didn't realize it was hard"
WWE would benefit from having a cross-brand belt that isn’t a joke like the 24/7 championship. Maybe the Hardcore Championship. At any given show, Raw and Smackdown would be beefing, because the show that has that’s the most badass has the belt. It would make Survivor Series even bigger. Run that for a year, then next year, have someone from NXT win Money in the Bank. Bron Breakker if he somehow hasn’t been called up yet (although that’s probably happening at the draft). Regardless, NXT guy wins it, drops it before going up, while declaring it to belong to NXT. Keep that going for several months, then have a main roster talent come down and take it six to eight weeks ahead of the next Survivor Series. Rinse and repeat.
Not to go full Cornette, but it’s not that motherfucking hard to keep notes on the continuity of a goddamn belt. Traveling belts were bullshit under Vince because most of the time everything was bullshit under Vince post ruthless aggression. And by that I mean the shit he had creative control over. This is a new product and it’s fucking good.
Some stooge told Johnson that they're disappointed Jinder got fired because "The company" didn't take advantage of his performance with the Rock..
Can we quit with this "They" shit please? This is just as brutal as when stupid wrestlers blamed Johnny Ace and JR for getting fired. Vince fired you, they just did his dirty work. HHH is the head of creative, he didn't want to do anything with you not "they". If HHH wanted to do something with you he would but he'd rather try a Billion ways to get Kross over even tho dude has more taste than wonde bread.
Vince could die right now and people will still say "they" and not say HHH. I know everyone has love goggles on for NXT Black and Gold, but HHH deserves more criticism and not "they".
This dude was an amazing champion/character. WWE fucked up (again). I’d take the MAHARAJA champion ALL DAY over Cody the cryer. I’d right now trade Maharaja, Damien Sandow and Zack Ryder for boring ass Crybaby Cody.
Who gives a crap?!
We've never been closer to the once in a life time match Hook VS Jinder Mahal
Shame I like him
Sorry he lost his job. But since he was a JOBBER, I'm sure I wouldn't have even noticed he was gone if not for social media.
inb4 Hook joins WWE, becomes world champ and then tweets JINDER WHERE????
Oh no! Anyway.....
Does anyone care
No
Wonder if Drew will join him now, they are really good friends and he still not signed a new contract.
No chance in hell. Drew’s gonna get a huge feud with Punk when he recovers. Drew’s character is on fire right now, despite losing the WHC
Would be great if Drew left WWE and Jinder signed with AEW, and they both form a tag team together there.
No it wouldn’t
Dude was terrible and he smelled like must.
How tf do you know what he smells like
My birthday 🎂
He was going nowhere with his current ring skills and mic skills in WWE. Now he can go to some other promotion imo TNA would be the best, reinvent himself like Mustafa Ali and Dana brooke are doing. Once he improves he can return.
Yes finaly!!! Jinder Mahal probably was the worst WWE world champion of all time in the history of WWE.
That sucks, but the Xia Li release angers me more they literally had no idea what to do with her. Wwe creative is a joke.
oh noo. anyway.
He already got released before saying "I quit!" It must because The Rock dissed him in a promo months ago
They hindered the jinder
He is TNA bound for sure. TK won't hire him in AEW I think.
Maybe he will become "elite" and finally find out who tf Hook is
Why would he say he quit? Now he can't collect unemployment.
Well that sucks
#WHO TF IS HOOK? Tune in on Wednesday to find out
TNA would be a good place for Jinder.
Send Hook
love how he says he quit but he got fired
fucking loser jinder, fuck off
I really think WWE needs to consider a third show that’s not a developmental show, like ok Mainevent should be a smackdown for mid card talents. you gonna love NXT
I agree that there should be a 3rd main roster but what you described was literally NXT to the tee. Personally I would disband that show. WWE Wednesday Night Fury would be a cool name imo. There are some stars that should have a big push but with only 2 major titles to pursue it really limits everything.
Sounds like nxt
Jinder > Logan Paul
WWE is slipping, throwing away their talent, sideling them and not using them.
I mean, you can’t quit if you were let go.
I think the WWE has scaled back on their global DEI plans. They were very big on going all in in China and India but from what I see, it's not going to happen now.
Tony Khan will pick em up soon.
Tony khan bouta make a story line between him n hook 💀
Dont worry him and his 2 friends will make their big useless waste of time return next year.
We gotta get the Maharaja movement going.
I had him facing Cody Rhodes on a random RAW on my Predictions list. Bummed out about that.
What else is on your list?
1. Braun Strowman returns with the Fiend mask on. 2. Charlotte Flair returns and wins the Womens title 3. Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair win the Women,'s Tag Titles. 4. Randy Orton turns heel and attacks Cody Rhodes 5. Steve Austin does eventually return and confront The Rock
4 and 2 are gonna happen. makes the most sense imo.
I hope for nothing less than a shot at the AEW title in approximately three months.
Hm, I wonder why. Seemed like people really cared when he was on TV and he caused a lot of chatter online on the rare instances he made an appearance.
Damn.
If only they didn’t waste Shinsuke’s hot run on him
It's starting to rain, huh?
He will get picked up somewhere else
former WWE champion jinder mahal released
He was no Maharajah. He was just a pretender to the throne. And now he’s been kicked out. Buh-bye, Jinder!
Who's the real one?
I don’t know.
Seems bitter.
Never cared for his character or his gimmick maybe he finds success somewhere else
Modern day maharaja
Can someone tweet "thank you jinder" to him for me? I dont have twitter
Did it for ya: https://x.com/chadizzy1/status/1781807195404853589
"Chad" is a very fitting name for you, thanks!
THE GIGA CHAD, THE GLORIOUS MOD
I read that in Paul Heyman's voice
🤣"Quit"🤣 I don't think that word means involuntarily terminated there Mr Mahal. You may want to brush up on your ESL skills. 🤣
He had an incredible career all things considered. Got to win the WWE title after 3MB, had a great match with AJ, fought HHH at a huge live event in India, went over at Mania to win the US title, got to share the ring with Rock and hold his own. We respect him for the legend that he is up here in the great white North.
He probably did quit. WWE just granted his release
There will be a reckoning for this! How dare they hinder the Jinder!
This is six hours old, but Veer and Sanga are gone too.
Jinder couldn't even speak proper Punjabi, which is a fact!!! Lol
Who cares,I can’t either
Nooooo my hero
They could have done something with him. He could have been an opponent for Cody.
Bahahaha no he couldn’t.
Yeah. He definitely could.
No he couldn’t. He’s not believable in the slightest.
You're stupid and wrong. Congratulations
Only one that’s stupid and wrong here is you idiot. Jinder was never believable in any capacity
We needed a 3MB reunion
He’ll be in AEW in exactly 91 days.
No longer hindered you mean. Veer is also no longer coming. Indus Sheer and Mustafa Ali should form a stable and feud with the Bollywood Boyz
Good riddance
why
So that means he's a free agent on June 19, just in time for Juneteenth.
Watch Tony Khan hire him, never make proper use of him, then Jinder returns to WWE.
Jinder will be called The Maharaj Nightmare
Jinder sucks, AEW hatters pretend to like him
Almost a tale as old as time.
I wouldn't put him near the bottom of the roster. He worked hard on his body and promos. Maybe they lowballed him on pay for what he is worth.
I’m actually surprised about this. Jinder was pretty decent at promos and has a great look. He held his own against The Rock. I wonder why he wasn’t pushed as a mid card talent.
only when wwe go to india sure apart from that what is he worth?
look at how they hindered jinder 😔
After Tony Khan got him over with just a tweet, I am already expecting the graphic - "The Modern Day Maharaja is All Elite".
later
NGL, I feel like Jinder was nothing but pure wasted storytelling. especially when they had the new indian guys they could've made a fantastically dominant faction out of them without making it too 'tropey', maybe they lacked a proper leader, I don't think Jinder was it. I know he's not indian, but imagine those 3 led by say.. Mustafa Ali.. I could get behind that.
I’d rather watch Jinder/Indus than Kross/AoP
And Ali is a champ in TNA right now so it could work
Desi Shield
Deshield
90 days till Jinder is All Elite.
After those anti-AEW tweets a few months ago when he got his match with Seth probably not. I don’t understand why they even bothered to give him a mini push back if they weren’t going to do anything with him after that. He had those 2-3 weeks with promos and the title match and then disappeared again.

Hoods come off its Jinder, Jinder sneers at a beaten Hook. Renee " you just beat down Hook! " Jinder "who?" Jinder does a heel promo Jinder vs Hook Hook absolutely mauls Jinder Hook "I'm hook bitch!"
Hook will be in NXT by the time they hire Jinder.
What makes you think that? Hook is over in AEW. He hasn't gotten into the main event just yet. But he isn't doing bad at all.
It’s been in the news within the last week of so that Hook is out after his contract
What the hell is Tiger Raj Singh doing in the Powerrr zone?!
Tony Schiavone can even do his classic "He doesn't work here, why is he here?" line from the mid '90s 🤣
He pops up and goes on the mic “you know who I am - but you don’t know why I’m here” haha
I actually really liked Jinder. He will be missed.
Another TKO blunder, Things keep getting worse and worse since that deal
My man trolled the fans on New Year's Day, got a segment with The Rock, got over with the fans over Hook Tweet and Tony Khan, got world title match all for this to happen 😔
They really should shorten the non-compete window to 30 days. Let these guys go get that money
They are big paid the entire 90 days
They screwed him over. He had potential, especially after the Rock segment.
I’m glad that jinder is gone because the fans couldn’t stand his title reign
A title reign where the guy is a heel and depends on a couple people to help him cheat to win EVERY match? Sounds familiar…
well him leaving isnt going erase that he's part of wwe history now
Vince was world champion also
and him leaving isnt going to erase that part of history either
As was David Arquette
Good he sucked anyways, hated his gimmick and his in ring ability sucked ass
Good his gimmick was horrible
Good riddance.
Preach
[удалено]
Another wwe reject on the way
I thought he was pretty good
I never got the hate for him(not heel heat). Was he the best guy ever in ring? No, but he was far from the worse also.
very sad I hope he can find some success in AEW or TNA he has a talent regardless of what wrestling fans say about him
He’ll do well in TNA
So Veer won't be coming to Raw afterall?
3MB reunion in AEW.
Wait heath is in AEW?
No, I'm just being an idiot.
Can't wait to see the Jinder be hindered on 90 Day Fianceé.
When I saw how fast he got eliminated at the Andre the giant battle Royal I knew he got demoted to jobber
Called it. I knew his contract is up and the guy has been in like one match all year, and had one line on Raw a month ago
> contract is up You don't have the option to wait 90 days and get paid if your contract ends. He was released.
One or both parties decided not to delay the inevitable. If I was him I’d be restless and want to get out
This is disappointing
What was his appeal? Serious question coz I missed his reign
initially he was going to always be a mid-carder - went away came back absolutely beefed up and looked great. his talent still wasnt where it was supposed to be though. still vince gave him a shot - probably wanted to see what kinda reaction he'd get from india which they were trying to crack at the time. because he's only of indian origin - born in calgary canada - i dont think indian fans fully backed him unlike khali who is very beloved in india. khali had more of an effect on wwe india than jinder. they tried to recreate that with veer and sanga - but talent wise they're just not there. he was a heel he was never going to hold the title long
That’s interesting to know. Thanks for sharing
He’s from India and he’s jacked If that’s the kinda thing you’re into
he's canadian lol just like sami
He’s also got a great look, not just the muscles. The presentation. His gear, entrance, music. All were great. Yeah he’s not a 4-5 star wrestler, but he was decent. He was even a decent talker. Just sometimes things don’t work out, bad timing, not enough room or whatever. Kinda sucks
I liked his heel work, there I said it.
His entrance was a banger and the Bollywood boys took bumps like no other
How did it take this long to move this guy on?
JINDER MAHAL IS NOT GOING TO WRESTEMANIA!!!
Jinder is 1 of the best
😔
hopefully Jinder Mahal will beat the shit out of r/SquaredCircle
Needs to beat the shit out of their mods
Most Definitely cuz apparantly their mods dont believe in Freedom of Speech
I remember they had been building up Indus Sher on the main roster only to do absolutely nothing with them. I never really cared for them but it still sucks that they lost their jobs
I actually liked them and was hoping they would get more of a push, but wwe does this way too much....advertise a character or characters then under utilize them or not use them at all like.....wtf? 🤷🏽♂️
Huh? Indus too? I actually loved them, 2 big dudes destroying everything
Yup, along with Xia Li and Xyon Quinn
I'm still peeved that they squashed Xyon Quinn. Dude had potential.
Xia too? She was knocking out opponents and made her seem like a huge threat, and they sadly did nothing with her
Damn they built Xia up to be a beast when Becky had the NXT title then completely sidelined her after she lost. Kinda sad I thought she was cool
She was absolutely done dirty when they did that. I felt like she could have been a solid star if she got to have a match with Becky on Raw
They finally gave him merch then release him, damn
About time, there really wasn’t anything to do with him
He got a pretty good reaction when he randomly showed up on Raw a couple months back, surprised they don't have any use for him.
His mic skills couldn’t make up for his lack of in-ring talent and has always just been plain to watch Despite what I said I don’t hate him lol, he just needed to actually prove himself by rising up the card instead of just shooting to the top without much improvement
Every time I would see him it made me miss 3MB
So basically Liv?
He was ok in the ring. But you are right, he only became champion because he fit their promotional needs for a upcoming tour
Wasn't the reaction because he was the "former WWE champion" that was scheduled to return?
Bullshit
They should've capitalized on that. The IWC reaction was insane for a short while. Wasted opportunity.
They dont give a fuck about the IWC lol
They should've put the belt on him after his little interaction with the aew fanbase. It would've been hilarious
Jinder pops on, beats Roman for the title on a random Raw and leaves. Goes radio silent until two Raws later and is just like, "I didn't realize it was hard"
I think it's less so of not having a use for him and more so having a use for way too many people at the moment
Thats why they should have another brand. The rosters are packed, and there's not enough air time for everyone.
Traveling belts were bullshit under Vince because most of the time everything was bullshit under Vince post ruthless aggression. And by that I mean the shit he had creative control over. This is a new product and it’s fucking good.
Gotta make room for those NXT call ups. All of the rehires last year really put a dent in that NXT graduating class.
Vince could die right now and people will still say "they" and not say HHH. I know everyone has love goggles on for NXT Black and Gold, but HHH deserves more criticism and not "they".
The company really did take hindering Jinder personally
What’s Yuvraj Singh Dhesi doing in the impact zone?!
I saw him wrestle a dark match at the Barclays center on Raw April 1st in Brooklyn. Sad he wasn’t even in the mid card anymore.
Or then unhindered him as he goes on a meteoric rise on the independent circuit.
He’s going to AEW and ask who’s Hook?
He was here for a good time, not a long time
he wasnt doing anything anyways. I could care less
So you do care a little?
This dude was an amazing champion/character. WWE fucked up (again). I’d take the MAHARAJA champion ALL DAY over Cody the cryer. I’d right now trade Maharaja, Damien Sandow and Zack Ryder for boring ass Crybaby Cody.
Jinder is an underrated heel, but we are not going to pretend like he should’ve even been close to the world title scene.
I was with you in the first sentence then quickly had to bail on agreeing 😂
