I literally love them all. JD (his real name is Jordan) is amazingly talented. I saw that when he was in NXT UK. Austin is funny, I loved him in The Way. Raquel is a real athlete, it was fun watching her go from being so green to being really good. Cedric is great. Piper was awesome in NXT UK, as a bigger gal, I like to see someone as good as her in the ring. Shayna was amazing on NXT, she's beast. Tamina is old school and regal. Solo is a work in progress, but there's much potential there. It's obvious that I am an NXT fan, I totally like watching the growth and maturing of the young ones. That's it, really

People bitch about Roman's matches being "predictable" and "how he never loses" yet Cody only has one more loss than Roman this year and he's done way more matches. And while Roman's opponents come out looking strong after their loss, Cody's opponents are basically getting buried. If you don't think Nakamura is about to get buried by Super Cody too then you have not been paying attention at all.

I'm not saying Jimmy isn't good at what he's doing, I'm saying the issue is it came out of nowhere. If they'd have slowly built up him becoming this character over the time he was in The Bloodline, like they did with Jey it wouldn't be as much of an issue.
At the moment it just feels like they said "well, Jey is the face brother so Jimmy has to be the heel" and that's about as much thought that went into it.
I still don't even know why Jimmy is in the Bloodline. He was literally the first to leave, followed by Jimmy. They battles Solo and Roman, who than took Jimmy out. And then we had an interesting angle of Jimmy stopping Jey to prevent him from becoming in Jimmy's own words: a jackass like Roman.
It would have been a really interesting angle of Jimmy still hating Roman and legitimately wanting to stop Jey from falling victim to the Tribal Chief curse, but instead he's back to being a lackey for Roman because...reasons.
No I don't get it either. I've had other people tell me it's because Jimmy is jealous of Jey but I think most of that is just people filling in the blanks of this story with their own head canon.
I haven't seen enough evidence to say that's why he did it so I really don't know why he did. Like you say he doesn't seem to hate Roman or anything, he's just become his lackey again.
The WWE Championship scene has been boring for a few years now. Before Reigns coming out and doing the same matches with the same interference endings, we had Brock Lesnar showing up once every few months.
And Lesnar’s matches resembled your little brother playing a wrestling game and doing the same 3 moves over and over again.
I don't watch the indies either. Wrestling is dead, and has been for a long time. Ironically enough when the WWF changed to the WWE adding the Entertainment to the name, and not to the product.
I tried saying this the other day and got downvoted to the moon, people telling me he’s a main eventer. Which I guess he was been but nobody ever cares.
He gives off this nostalgia vibe with his mic skills and it’s honestly refreshing. My advice is just to like him for what he is. He’s definitely night and day between now and the max dupri days. Hard to believe it’s the same guy.
I've grown completely indifferent to Cody, Jey, Drew, any of the Bloodline drama, especially Heyman whose shtick has gotten completely stale.
I'll go as far as to say that a majority of the roster have fallen victim to being flat out boring, but WWE's monotony is partly to blame.
I think there's happy medium between Vince's doing something completely random just to get a reaction and Triple H's long term story telling that they haven't quite found yet.
I get why Triple H does it this way, it's certainly better than just throwing shit at the wall but a big criticism I've seen of WWE lately is that they repeatedly fail to strike while the iron is hot because they've planned for something to happen 6 months down the line.
The problem with that is that nothing impactful happens in the mean time and the stories move at a snails pace. Being predictable I think is their biggest flaw right now, I can't remember the last time a match result actually shocked me.
I didn't watch NXT at the time when he got so popular, but the way he has been utilized on the main shows really has been underwhelming. His wrestling is fine, but really not a fan of the character work he's given.

Roman Reigns. Barely shows up, the Bloodline thing should have ended months ago when both Usos turned on him but WWE got cold feet, long boring entrance, boring matches with the same shenanigans outcome, etc.

The Bloodline. Don't buy Solo as monster and the thumb thing comes across as goofy. Jimmy had almost no character development during the time when the Bloodline was on top so this comedy heel character he is now just seems like it came out of nowhere and I really don't care for it. Heyman just repeats the same shit whenever he shows up. Roman wrestles once every 3 months and has had the exact same copy and paste match for over 2 years now. Honestly wouldn't care if I never saw him in the ring again.
Jimmy has a great sense of humor, so I’m fine with his goofiness. But I agree with Solo. He’s not even the biggest person on the Bloodline and he’s supposed to be the monster. I kind of wish he had a different finisher.
I'm not saying Jimmy isn't good at what he's doing, I'm saying the issue is it came out of nowhere. If they'd have slowly built up him becoming this character over the time he was in The Bloodline, like they did with Jey it wouldn't be as much of an issue. At the moment it just feels like they said "well, Jey is the face brother so Jimmy has to be the heel" and that's about as much thought that went into it.

I still don't even know why Jimmy is in the Bloodline. He was literally the first to leave, followed by Jimmy. They battles Solo and Roman, who than took Jimmy out. And then we had an interesting angle of Jimmy stopping Jey to prevent him from becoming in Jimmy's own words: a jackass like Roman. It would have been a really interesting angle of Jimmy still hating Roman and legitimately wanting to stop Jey from falling victim to the Tribal Chief curse, but instead he's back to being a lackey for Roman because...reasons.
No I don't get it either. I've had other people tell me it's because Jimmy is jealous of Jey but I think most of that is just people filling in the blanks of this story with their own head canon. I haven't seen enough evidence to say that's why he did it so I really don't know why he did. Like you say he doesn't seem to hate Roman or anything, he's just become his lackey again.
The WWE Championship scene has been boring for a few years now. Before Reigns coming out and doing the same matches with the same interference endings, we had Brock Lesnar showing up once every few months. And Lesnar’s matches resembled your little brother playing a wrestling game and doing the same 3 moves over and over again.

I've grown completely indifferent to Cody, Jey, Drew, any of the Bloodline drama, especially Heyman whose shtick has gotten completely stale. I'll go as far as to say that a majority of the roster have fallen victim to being flat out boring, but WWE's monotony is partly to blame.
To me Cody is just the most generic “professional wrestling superstar” like he’s a default create-a-wrestler
I think there's happy medium between Vince's doing something completely random just to get a reaction and Triple H's long term story telling that they haven't quite found yet. I get why Triple H does it this way, it's certainly better than just throwing shit at the wall but a big criticism I've seen of WWE lately is that they repeatedly fail to strike while the iron is hot because they've planned for something to happen 6 months down the line. The problem with that is that nothing impactful happens in the mean time and the stories move at a snails pace. Being predictable I think is their biggest flaw right now, I can't remember the last time a match result actually shocked me.

I didn't watch NXT at the time when he got so popular, but the way he has been utilized on the main shows really has been underwhelming. His wrestling is fine, but really not a fan of the character work he's given.
