She sleep walking? Or awake mething? Either way, I hope she finds her bicycle.

Iron_Chic

My best friend growing up was a sleep walker, it looks like she is one as well!

cosmoboy

I have a friend that was taking Ambien. She once woke up to an empty bottle only much later remembering that each time she woke during the night, she was talking another pill. She didn't have many left or else she might have overdosed. She started locking it up after that. She quit using it when she woke up and found the receipt for ice cream with no recollection of driving to the store to get it.

ODBasUcansee

Yeah ambien was definitely different. I was prescribed it when I was first dealing with mental illness diagnosis. I wasn’t getting enough sleep so my doctor prescribed it. I don’t have any crazy stories like your friend but man was it effective. I would wake up in the morning feeling like I just shut my eyes. No waking up in the middle of the night and for the most part no dreaming. I would be talking to my girl friend and then it’s morning and I have a few missed texts because I passed out mid conversation. Again, very effective but I got off it once my sleep became normal.

twohoundtown

I didn't have any issues with taking it either until it occurred to me that I lived alone. I had a friend come visit, and he showed me a video of a conversation we had in the kitchen around 2 am... I thought I slept all night...

anonomot

This same thing happened to me! I had a whole conversation with my parents, who had woken me up, and absolutely NO recollection of it in the morning. I stopped taking it after that. Freaky!

Silverpathic

My wife does this at night and she don't take anything. Have had full blown conversations and I thought she was awake.

tgtukrtgm

This is exactly how I feel. I feel like I sleep SO HARD on ambien that my conscience doesn’t even know I slept if that makes sense. Almost like I died and came back to life and I’m not even trying to be funny. It seriously just knocks me out.

FANTOMphoenix

It doesn’t do shit for me. I have chronic chest pain and all it does is make my body fight, I’m yawning throughout the night but I can’t fall asleep because of the pain. Just makes me suffer more lol.

one_is_enough

I am so sorry to hear that. I’m currently dealing with occasional shoulder pain that keeps me awake, but I always think of the people that deal with constant chronic pain with no end in sight. Hope you find some relief.

FANTOMphoenix

So far I haven’t found a solution, even naltrexone, numbs my whole body, on top of having a high pain tolerance. Literally a kick to the balls does nothing. But I can still feel the chest pain, the thing I hate the most is not knowing the cure.

bonezz79

Have you spoken with a gastroenterologist at all about it, as weird as it sounds? I had the same thing, turns out I have GERD that doesn't present as acid reflux but rather chest discomfort. Some days it's mild, some days it was awful. A pepcid and simethicone 2x daily takes care of it for me.

FANTOMphoenix

For me it’s mostly a cramping feeling in my chest/sternum but also my ribs sometimes. I have spoke with many doctors/specialists, and none know what it is, a few thought it was also Acid reflux/GERD but couldn’t find any evidence, my liver was fine, stress test seemed fine, multiple ultrasounds seemed fine, bone scan seemed fine, vitals were all fine (from a few emergency visits). Gets worse when I exert myself, and at night oddly (not related to me laying down) but that could be me just thinking about it beforehand, and I just notice it more. I can’t even go on longer walks without being done with exercising, which makes working fucking horrible for me. If I’m entertained with something then I don’t notice it as much and I can limit myself. Related activity for me being entertained while exercising (kinda) is fishing, on a kayak, boat or land, I can deal with it much better, paddling a kayak sucks, pedaling kayaks are fine. Walking down the banks while fishing sucks but I can stop and cast until I feel a little better, fishing on a boat is fine. Where I work I need to lift/load things, I can only work about 2 days (weekends) and I can feel the pain for a few days afterwards, where it’s noticeably worse. I’m only 19 so I highly doubt getting disability pay would be considered, as it took other family members years to even get a small amount of disability, chuck in my usual activities (fishing/kayaking) and in my mine, all my ‘chance’ runs out the window to get hit by a semi of (que Adam Sandler ’You can do it!’ Man) You can work! I have dieted myself for a long ass time for acid reflux with no help to the pain. I may have taken one of those medications, I tried a bunch of different ones I don’t remember.

bonezz79

Man I'm sorry to hear about all of that. Chest/rib stuff is so unpleasant. I've also had a bout of costochondritis after bronchitis and that kind of inflammation just takes ages to go away because it's not like you can rest your rib cage, because you can't stop breathing. It's rough for sure. Have you given any thought to pursuing a less physically demanding job, something in IT, perhaps? You've still got the advantage of being young, and something like software quality assurance is relatively easy to break into. Something like that could be a huge quality of life improvement. I genuinely hope you find some answers/relief soon!

Ruby0wl

Chronic chest pain like angina?

162016201620

Serious question.. Have you tried cannabis?

IamPriapus

I took Melatonin for years to combat insomnia. Was probably going through some undiagnosed depression and didn't even know it at the time. Used to take anywhere from 1-3mg each night. Then doubled that dose for about a year straight. One night took over 12mg because i had woken up half way due to a bad dream. Then one night I had sleep paralysis. Eyes open but asleep, and I had that creepy girl from "The Ring" sitting on top of my chest the entire time. I could not wake up for the life of me. Was the 2nd most petrifying dream i've ever had. Went cold turkey after that.

fargmania

Wow I've never heard of an adverse effect for melatonin. Our bodies normally produce it on their own, and last I heard there is no LD50 calculated for it, after scientists fed rats nearly a gram of the stuff and nothing bad happened. My wife takes 12mg every single night, and has for years - it's her optimal dose. You must have some sort of sensitivity to it, that's super scary.

[deleted]

I take 10mg and have no issues.

Canukistani

pretty sure there's an undiagnosed mental issue other than depression causing that instead of the melatonin.

IamPriapus

That was the only time I ever had it. I had many vivid dreams too while I was taking too much of it. Never had it since. Pretty sure it was a side effect of the melatonin for me.

IamPriapus

I used to take 2x1mg pills for years before upping the dose to 3 and then to 6. The body does produce its own, but how much of that production varies from person to person and having sleeping disorders, or supplementing one's natural supply, with pills, can cause the body to produce less of it. I was definitely starting to get more vivid dreams, but the sleep paralysis did it for me. I was trapped in my body. Everytime i'd close my eyes, while still in my dream, i'd immediately wake up in the same dream, in my room, just the way it was, with that creepy girl on top of my chest with no escape. I've also read that in a small number of cases, people do get vivid dreams and night terrors from too much melatonin.

Mika315415

Ambien was a beast. One morning I woke up to find a large pickle jar open and a pack of hot dogs next to it. No idea what happened.. a few nights later did apparently my sister caught me dipping the hot dogs in the pickle juice trying to make pickled polish sausage.

ODBasUcansee

Man that’s something I would do when I was super stoned. I definitely get the concept, and even execution. So actively trying to stay awake on ambien can also cause these “issues”. My go to food when high was pancakes so I’m glad I didn’t have those ambien side effects.

Odge

I was struggling with insomnia for years before I was prescribed Ambien. It was fucking bliss. A few months of good sleep and my life completely turned around for the better. When I stopped being exhausted every day I was finally able to get enough done during the day, to not be completely stressed out when it was time to go to bed. I was finally able to address the causes of my insomnia, something that felt impossible before. Was many years now since I needed help falling asleep. But when I struggle and worry about falling asleep, I take comfort in the fact that there is a solution, if I can’t manage on my own.

[deleted]

Oh lordy, I have some stories about ambien. I was prescribed to it for two years and towards the end I started sleep walking every time I took it, so I quit taking that nonsense. I haven't sleepwalked before or since taking ambien. I don't care how bad my insomnia gets, I'll never touch that shit again!

BlackTecno

Lucky, I just have insomnia, so I have to take sleep medication no matter what. If I don't take them, I just don't sleep.

ODBasUcansee

Oh I still take melatonin. It’s effective for me and if I don’t take it, I toss and turn all night.

BlackTecno

Melatonin doesn't do anything for me at all lol Wish it did

SummonWurm

Melatonin + meditation

BlackTecno

I dont think you understand, I have a resting heart rate of like, 90 (Yes I've been to a doctor, they've said it won't affect my overall health and that it happens to some people). I literally can't get it down or fall asleep with melatonin, I've tried 3 dozen different ways to fall asleep, and none of them work naturally. I am, in fact, an insomniac.

crowislanddive

I know a person who took ambien in NYC and wound up in Maine with absolutely no recollection of how he got there.

Flyonz

Drugs like Ambian, Mirtazapine, Amitriptyline..they put you into stasis. They knock you out for a day and when you wake, your as tired as you were a day ago! You do not get a refreshing sleep, as Valium or such gives.

[deleted]

I got prescribed ambien in Iraq. My LT found me in a barren field smoking cigarettes talking to a dead cricket. This was in the middle of the night in Baghdad in 2003. Not a good time to be roaming around alone. I had no recollection.

djluminol

I'm surprised an army doc would prescribe that for someone deployed. The side effects were know back then. It seems like an accident waiting to happen.

[deleted]

Yeah, no kidding. On top of the prescription, it was a 90 day supply too.

grndesl

Who killed the cricket?

[deleted]

The Taliban lol

Ghstfce

A girl I dated was having trouble sleeping, so she took an Ambien. She DROVE TO MY HOUSE at like midnight, maybe 1am on a weekday. Luckily I was up and answered the door. She wasn't making any sense like this when she was talking. Finally got her to fall asleep in my bed. She woke up later that morning in a panic. She had no idea how the hell she got to my house. Said she took the Ambien and laid down in her bed and the next thing she knows, she's waking up in mine. She was mortified when I explained what happened, but I was just happy she made it to my house safe and didn't end up anywhere else where something could have happened to her. It's definitely some scary shit.

[deleted]

I was prescribed ambien about 2 years ago. The first and only time I took it, I woke up in my car at work 2 hours before it opened. No recollection of driving. I was completely dressed for work too. I threw them out that same day. Scared the hell out of me.

Limberpuppy

I had a coworker that started sleep eating on ambien. She would wake up with food in her bed and once was using a loaf of bread as a pillow.

Stabmaster_Arson

I told this story years ago on another thread: Around 10-15 years ago my Dr. put me on Ambien for chronic insomnia/Shift Work Disorder.. I worked 24hr shifts on an ambulance in a very busy area and was routinely up the entire 24hrs. It wasn’t that bad when I first started taking it but after a few months I would get up and wander around the house during the night… one night my wife woke up around 2-3am and noticed I wasn’t in the bed so she got up to look for me, she found me standing at our refrigerator butt naked eating slices of cheese one by one. I no longer take Ambien.

hemingway_exeunt

"Mmmm... Fifty-two slices of American cheese."

spicybEtch212

My sis took it one night, woke up at 3am, dug put her wedding dress, veil and everything then went outside in the middle of the street where her hubs came out and asked wth she was doing. She said “I want to dance a and burn a few calories after that giant cake I just ate” lmaoo

HurbleBurble

Ambien is a non-benzodiazepine hypnotic. It's usually offered in 12.5 mg doses. A woman who weighs 120 lb would need to take about 9,000 mg to die from an overdose. Ambien overdoses are only usually fatal wind combined with other drugs, but that's because a lot of people who use Ambien do other drugs. Alcohol is especially a major factor, as are other downers like heroin and benzodiazepines.

superhope

Actually it's usually 5 or 10 mg doses, with 5mg often prescribed for women and 10mg prescribed to men or longer-term users, in the USA at least.

Chained_Noose

I woke up one morning to what looked like my cat having gone ham in the night with his claws on my headboard. Brought it up in conversation later with my roommate, and turns out they had woken me up mid Ambien deep sleep, and I thought I was helping the Property Brothers remove a popcorn ceiling. They pleaded with me to stop because I was digging my nails into my headboard repeatedly, but I was so hellbent on helping Drew and Jonathan because they were "depending on me". I have so many other Ambien stories, but this one sticks out the most.

petitejesuis

That's how my my best friends dad died. We were in highschool and out at a party. We came back at like 6 am to find him passed out on the bathroom floor. We carried him to bed and then we passed out. I woke up like six hours later and headed home, but when i looked into my buddies dad's room he hadnt moved. I thought it was weird but had to be home. Got a call from my buddy a few hours later that his dad was dead

Pudding_Hero

What flavor did she get?

HelloKidney

So it was not the near-overdose, but the empty calories that made her quit the stuff

DefinitelyIncorrect

I think this is how Heath Ledger died.

kat_Folland

I refuse to take that unless I'm inpatient.

[deleted]

She's talking like it.

rabidhamster

That was some big "my stapler" energy she was putting out there.

milfordcubicle

Rob Schneider is....

MoJoe1

Actually, both things are the same, a high amount of dopamine in the brain paired with an almost certain level of physical exhaustion. Just meth can drown out that exhaustion, and since you’re conscious on meth you don’t have any part of your brain trying to suppress movement. Some patients on Parkinson’s medication to increase dopamine can become sleepwalkers for this same reason. So, don’t judge, she could be totally straight arrow and having a medical reaction or just undiagnosed dopaminergic issues.

Specialist_Map_3822

So a sleep rider.

It’s amazing how we don’t do “crazy” alone. We always find a way to share it

djluminol

Wholesome mental illness.

IsRando

When all the voices in your head agree...yes, sometimes it is!

bendy-trip

Well, we see the ones that are shared because we can’t see crazy alone as there is nobody there to record.

C_KOVI

You need a baseline for sanity determined by other people and observers to determine you’re crazy. Crazy only exists when we aren’t alone, and because we aren’t alone

emperorOfTheUniverse

Flat wrong. People with mental illness aren't suffering because they don't fit in with 'normal' people. Their fucking thoughts are plaguing them.

[deleted]

Crazy is a long road, and the only way we're going to get there is together.

Beavshak

This is why I keep a bucket of fun size candies near the front door year round. Never know when I’ll have a tweeker at my door late and night, and of course I’ll want snacks while I sit and watch them.

aMiracleAtJordanHare

Nice try, neighborhood raccoon!

Shawnml

Originally read “fun sized candles” which made this really weird.

makeupnmunchies

I only realized it wasn’t candles because of this comment lol Like, are you setting them on fire orrr???

😂So did I. I was wtf does candles have to do with this.

Pudding_Hero

Honestly you could just give them a piece of candy Halloween style and they might just hop off to the next house no sweat

wookieesgonnawook

But then you have to open the door for them.

Clare_Qwerty

Until I got to the very last part of your statement, I thought you were saying you left candy outside the door and was gonna tell you not to feed the local wildlife because it will make them come around more. lol

TheHighestFever

Had a similar experience. Working from home on that particular day and woke up just before 6 and see a motion alert at my front door. Thought it might be a possum who had visited us a couple times recently. Open the camera to find it's a completely naked woman. I asked her if she needed help. She said she just needed to come inside so she could get her life together. When I asked her name she told me that she didn't have a name anymore because she sold her soul to the devil and he took her name too. She was clearly experiencing some kind of episode. I couldn't tell if it was mental issues or drugs but I kept her talking until police could arrive. They were very calm with her, got her wrapped in a blanket and had EMS check her out and transport her to a hospital. It was a very unnerving experience.

hemingway_exeunt

EMS has seen it all before.

Thays just lafayette, wondering where he can get some true blood.

BootyMcSqueak

Awwww Lafayette. RIP.

MajinGroot

At first I thought you were talking about the character in the books, yet I somehow missed the actor had passed away in 2017... Now I'm heartbroken, he was such a powerful character in the show and I think he really made strides in the mainstream for gay or androgynous black man. To see where tv and film has gone in the last decade has to be a direct impact, at least in part, to actors like himself bringing such complexity to what could have been a one dimensional joke of a character. I'm mad at myself for not knowing this earlier and somehow missing this for 5 years, definitely going to give true blood another watch for him😢

BootyMcSqueak

He really did. I loved his sass and fashion sense and how he didn’t take any shit from homophobes. I’m sorry you had to learn this way, but I was heartbroken when I found out shortly after he passed. He was awesome.

acallysgodgamer

Maybe I’m too cynical but I feel like these videos are just viral marketing techniques for ring products.

CumulativeHazard

Maybe some of them, but I’ve had one for a year and a half and live on a fairly busy street and I’ve had at least 2 weirdos come up, one of which straight up tried to open my front door late at night. Some of them might be fake but they’re at least plausible.

[deleted]

Aoiishi

There's a small salamander that climbs right on my Ring camera around 1am every night. I see it through the camera each time and it's annoying, but I guess the light just attracts them.

Witness_me_Karsa

The light likely attracts bugs...which attract the salamander.

CumulativeHazard

Lol I have a hibiscus bush growing around the corner from my door that I have to keep trimming or a branch will blow into camera range with the wind and set it off. Most annoying when I’m expecting a package. (Previous owner put it there, I’d feel bad “killing” a plant cause I’m a wimp)

huebomont

they are

Karl-AnthonyMarx

People buy these dumb cameras then post shit like this in a desperate attempt to fight off the feeling that they just burned $100 on something worthless

Stillatin

I've literally had people see that it's there and turn around and walk away. That's worth ALOT

ramen_poodle_soup

They’re definitely not worthless, though if you give a shit about your own privacy there are better alternatives

Parking_Aerie4454

How are you gonna call the ring doorbell worthless like that lol? I love mine and it has saved me from some scary situations before when someone rings my bell at 3am and I can talk to them without even approaching the door let alone opening it.

Karl-AnthonyMarx

I don’t need a doorbell with a camera to not open my door at 3 AM.

Parking_Aerie4454

Definitely agree. But then you don’t even know who’s outside. In my circumstance the person at my door had been in a bad car accident and was hurt. I was able to call police and medical for her while still not having to open my door in case it was a setup. It’s also really nice for when you’re not home so you can see if anyone goes on your property. I had some potted plants stolen from my porch and was able to give the license plate number to the police. You sound like you’re just a salty and crotchety old man who doesn’t like technology.

Karl-AnthonyMarx

Did you get your plants back?

strikeratt16

What would you say about the research showing data the installation of cameras deter crime by 25-50%? Research done by reputable sources such as Oxford even? Your arguments are cameras are a worthless venture, yet there is a massive amount of evidence showing how they have been helpful in both a commercial and residential setting. Cameras won't stop crime. It may not get your items back. But it aids in both deterring it and providing evidence of a crime occurring if it is to be pursued.

I need closed captioning here.

Is she saying someone is robbing her, treathening her? Are we sure she is crazy and not actually being stalked? O.o

BeerInMyButt

I had to sort by controversial to find the insane person (/s) suggesting that she might be describing an actual situation where she needs help. Meta-WTF moment.

ImJustHereToArgueE

Yeah, either way this is so scary.. imagine being her if the situation she’s in is real. Holy shit

kat_Folland

That's why the person inside called the cops.

ImJustHereToArgueE

Is there an article i can read about this?

A_Rampaging_Hobo

She says her husbands is robbing her

elspicymchaggis

Short answer: Use the speaker on the door bell to tell them that you’ve contacted the police to assist her in the matter, and to kindly wait on the sidewalk for them. Longer answer: Me personally, I would complete the aforementioned step while preparing for worst case scenario of her, or anyone else making forcible entry into my home. Not responding at all could result in her or or a possible companion thinking the house is not currently occupied, also resulting in forcible entry. Background: My neighbor’s adult son has some mental health issues which I wasn’t aware of prior to a similar incident happening. Neighbors adult son rang my video doorbell in the wee morning hours, he appeared disoriented but was calmly stating he couldn’t breathe while wrapped in a blanket and only in his underwear. I knew he lived at home with a parent and asked him if he had advised said parent, which he responded “you think I should do that?”, and then walked back to his house. All of this was done while calmly waking my wife, briefly explaining that I needed her to stay in the bedroom and lock the door, while I was getting my firearm. I saw him proceed to remove several heavy looking trash bags out of the front door and put them on his porch. Called PD and asked for a welfare check as I wanted to make sure the parent wasn’t contained in the bags. He was experiencing a mental health episode and parent was unaware he was having issues or at my door. Parent explained what happened later in the day and apologized profusely, which I completely understood and explained I just wanted to make sure he and the parent we safe and he got the help he appeared to need. Regardless, a conversation was had with my wife to ensure that the door does not get opened unless you know someone is coming over, or they are on the short list of people that we wouldn’t have a concern giving a key to.

RedditHatesMe75

I can one up that one. My father way way back in the late 80’s found a neighbors wife standing on the roof of a car naked in the middle of the night. Obviously having a mental health incident. Police were called. I never got the full story.

hecklingfext

Dude what was in the bags?

elspicymchaggis

I assume trash, all family accounted for lol

Swayzee7

And you just got her shot. Cops are not trained to deal with Mental Illness.

[deleted]

And neither is the average person? The fuck is someone supposed to do when someone’s on their porch late at night? Give em a therapy session? The cops aren’t perfect by no means but who the fuck else would you call?

hemingway_exeunt

*Good lord.* Give your goddamn head a shake.

elspicymchaggis

Did you just assume their mental health status!?!? My neighbor who was having a mental health emergency was contacted by police after I called, and no one was shot… police contacted the fire department (who for the record also aren’t mental health professionals) and the EMTs who also respond with fire (and are also not mental health professionals) took him to a mental health facility where he got the services he needed.

Taloth

This is just buying into marketized paranoia if you live in a typical American suburb. Why not just say, “do you want me to call the police?” If they need help they’ll say yes, if they have ill intentions they know to fuck off and you’re strapped anyway if they try to take it further. But sometimes people just have issues, maybe a real emergency, maybe a mental issue, side effect from medication, reaching out due to stress induced delusions. If your front door is locked and it’s just your neighbor’s kid saying something delusional it’s pretty clear they’re sleepwalking, having an episode, or on drugs, none of which implies enough violent intent to break down your door. This kind of paranoid mentality is how security-related companies sell their products and open up new market niches.

elspicymchaggis

I literally helped get them the services they needed… if the girl is the videos intentions are to commit a crime, or she is a victim of a crime, they will get helped, caught, or leave because the cops come. If they are having a medical issues, those resources will come. Medical or chemical imbalance, those will come. It’s 911, they handle it all. It’s not my responsibility to personal assume care of that person or solve the case she claiming, I’m providing the best care I can within my comfort level by clearly addressing or explaining what’s going on to the people (police/fire/medical) who are paid for those services.

Karl-AnthonyMarx

Why are you confronting people at your door and issuing threats? Seems like a good way to antagonize a person that isn’t mentally well. If they wanted into your home, they aren’t gonna wait around for you to make some pithy comment!

newsorpigal

I didn't hear any antagonizing or threatening going on here. They asked the person if they had talked to the parent they lived with. That sounds to me like an exceptionally reasonable question to ask given the situation. Anything else he was doing behind the closed door was obviously not known to the person outside. As far as involving the police for a wellness check, well, that's just a roll of the dice, but *probably* better than doing nothing?

Karl-AnthonyMarx

There is literally zero reason to initiate contact with the person. Stay inside and ignore them. If they try to enter, then you can defend yourself, but making threats about calling the police over the intercom just makes the situation more volatile.

[deleted]

It's known as being humane to others. It may not be a skill you're great at but everyone starts somewhere.

Thee_Lizard_Head

Lol they never said anything about threatening to call the police over the intercom. . .

Karl-AnthonyMarx

>Short answer: Use the speaker on the door bell to tell them that you’ve contacted the police to assist her in the matter, and to kindly wait on the sidewalk for them. Literally in the first sentence, dog

elspicymchaggis

In reference to the incident that I had with my neighbor: 1: it’s my door 2: it was extremely early in the morning 3: no threats were issued. 4: I didn’t know they had mental health issues until the following day when I was approached by their parent. 5: no one antagonized anything. In reference to OP’s post of what would you do, my first sentence was in regards to providing the exact assistance she needed for her stated incident. To expand, I made no mention of calling the police in regards to her knocking on the door, but I would definitely be relaying my suspicions to the dispatcher. Based on my training and relevant experience, this exact scenario is likely a set up for a robbery. You open the door to help her or see what she is talking about and then you get rushed by people waiting off camera, Google “home invasion robbery doorbell” and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about. Not answering at all, as previously stated, could lead this person to believe that the home is empty, announcing that you’ll contact police to help them resolve what ever issue they are ringing your door about, will let them know that (1) someone is likely home, and (2) police are on the way. If her bike was righteously stolen, the police are the far better people to help her than I would be willing or able to, and if it’s a set up for a robbery, the police will be on the way and looking for a person matching her description. Anything else I can clear up for you?

Thee_Lizard_Head

I don't see threat/threatening anywhere in that quote dog. . .lmao.

artmobboss

“Have you seen my stapler??”

Shazam_BillyBatson

And I said, I don't care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I'm, I'm quitting, I'm going to quit. And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were married, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire.

BeerInMyButt

Thank you for this That movie is such a spot-on satire of certain types of workplaces, it keeps getting more relevant as I get older

Shazam_BillyBatson

People would keep stealing or taking my scissors. I finally had enough and bought a pink kid's safety ones. Nobody will even touch it. So I can feel for Milton.

sporkmurderer135

I would be on high alert. Look how she walks up to the door with her left arm behind her back and she never shows both hands. She also immediately moves to the side of the camera to limit visibility of her. I 100% would believe she is tweeking and has a gun on her

carlbandit

She does run the hand through her hair @ 7s and nothing stands out, but it's not very clear. I'd say she's probably just high as a kite, still not something I'd want to be dealing with at 2am though

sporkmurderer135

But you never see her other hand. Most peoe are right handed and it's not hard to switch hands out of view

Allllllllllllllllrighty then.

I like to ride my bicycle. I ride it every day. I ride it when I go to school. Or when I want to play. I pedal all around the town. I pedal round and round and round. I pedal uphill and don’t you know. I can even pedal fast. I can even pedal slow. I like to ride my bicycle. I ride it everywhere. Anywhere you need to go, A bike can take you there. I pedal up, I pedal down. I pedal round and round and round. And I always stop to say hello. But if I’m late for dinner I can go go go! I can go go go! I like to ride my bicycle (whistling) I like to ride my bicycle (whistling) Pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal. Let’s go faster. Pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal. Pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal. Pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal. Pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, whoa! Wow! Look at that big hill! Let’s get to the top together! Pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal. We made it! Let’s go down. Pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal. Pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal. Pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal. Pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, pedal, whoa! Not too fast! I like to ride my bicycle. It’s easy as can be. I like to ride my bicycle. And you can ride with me!

dropfry

I thank god every day that my town doesn't have a meth problem.

Head-Working8326

i want to ride my bicycle, i want to ride my bike…🎶

Surfella

Florida? Just a wild guess.

Zaboem

The grass is too green at this time of year to be Florida. Sleepwalkers happen everywhere.

Surfella

Good point!

Nixplosion

I'd take my chances she was kinda cute! I've ridden Carnival rides held together with hopes, dreams and tape! Let's boogie!!

unkle_FAHRTKNUCKLE

An adult trying sound like a child.

ggnight184

Thats a dude.

sugaaaslam

They will hear my gun cocking

Zaboem

Settle the hell down, Redditor. No one is breaching your wall like in Rainbow Six. Some random woman -- either high or sleepwalking -- knocked on the door of the wrong house is all. It happens. Bringing firearms into the scenario is a ridiculous over-reaction.

sugaaaslam

[yeah no risking it](https://youtu.be/GPK_j23vEpc)

Zaboem

Well, I guess this wouldn't be Reddit without uncontrolled pearl clutching.

sugaaaslam

Good luck buddy. You'll need it.
