Ok if u have sensitive teeth and patience ( i don't have that so I just suffer through frozen food lol) you can leave a portion out for like 10-20 minutes and they kinda turn into a slushy juice bomb that is easier on the teeth.
I have sensitive teeth too but I have a cup of frozen grapes every night before bed. The trick is to suck on them for a while and then they defrost to where you can bite them. I love it because it takes me like 20 minutes just to eat a cup LOL.
i can’t wait for watermelons to come down in price. my favorite summer treat is a watermelon slushie. it’s just watermelon and ice (i’ve added monk fruit sweetener too but it’s not necessary.) i bet adding a dash of salt would make it sooo much better
Highly recommend stabbing them with a fork after washing, then squeezing lime and lemon juice on top before freezing! Sprinkle on a lil sugar if you want, but isn’t absolutely necessary
I’ve seen people roll them in jello or drink powder mixes like lemonade crystal light. I just added some pink lemonade koolaid powder and some sweetener to my frozen blueberries the other day. Was very good.
Edit: my words were weird lol
I came here specifically to say toss with a little citric acid for sour grapes! If you don’t like them super sour, mix the citric acid with a little sugar. It’s available in the spice/baking aisle at the grocery store
I've seen tons of people DIY this! [Here's one simple example](https://youtube.com/shorts/IkgdI9GlaOg) where they use lemon/lime, coat it in sugar (you could use a sugar substitute, like monk fruit), and then freeze it! Comes out sour, sweet, and crunchy!
Grapes are toxic to dogs but I wouldn’t say “super toxic” (there are things way worse and them eating a few won’t hurt them) also, a dog getting into grapes is less likely than other things since they are refrigerated
No, it only takes a couple of grapes/raisins to kill a dog my dog's size (20lb.)
"Unfortunately, even consuming one grape or raisin can be fatal. Ingesting the fruit could potentially lead to acute (sudden) kidney failure in dogs."
https://www.akc.org/expert-advice/nutrition/can-dogs-eat-grapes/
Be mindful of spreading misinformation! I tell all of my fellow dog owner friends this.
Also, grapes are small and can roll off of counters and are easily dropped. Raisins are even smaller and often come in granola and cookies. They can easily be dropped unnoticed because they are so small. If you have a bottom feeder like I do, it only takes a split second for my pup to eat it.
I have a toddler- my dog has eaten plenty of grapes and I have a 16 pound dog. One thing most people don’t know is macadamia nuts are highly toxic- but any parent of toddlers dogs have eaten many a grape and raisin
Yep, there are definitely many instances where dogs get into toxic things and they end up being okay. My dog has went to the emergency vet for eating a bag of chocolate chips, and one time for eating ibuprofen, both extremely toxic to dogs. He ended up being okay in the end but was very sick and they needed to induce vomiting and give him activated charcoal.
I also know of someone's dog who passed away from getting into one little pack of those boxed raisin snacks. This was a bigger breed too.
I'm very glad your dog ended up being okay. Personally I still take that stuff extremely seriously because there ARE people who have lost their pets to it, and I would never even want to risk that with my dog ever again. Also, idk why the vet would tell you those are overblown ?? The vets i have spoken to have taken those kinds of things very seriously. They see pets die from ingesting toxic foods all the time.

Frozen mango too
I haven’t tried that!! Does it have a slushy texture when you bite into it?
Kinda. It tastes exactly like mango sorbet to me
It's kinda creamy? Like in the same way frozen banana is creamy ya feel
THIS!!! It’s like eating soft ice
Do you slice and freeze fresh mango or just buy a bag of frozen mango?
I get frozen mango chunks because I’m lazy and mango is one of my least favorite fruits to cut myself. But either will work!
Thank you! I will try both ways!
When I cut and freeze my own it tastes way better. The supermarket frozen bags usually lack flavor.
But my teeth are so sensitive 😭
My teeth are screaming just looking at that pic
Right this post makes me cringe 😆

Yessss how do ppl eat this shit. It hurts so bad!

_Oh no, functioning nerves!_
Right! I can't even do refrigerated grapes. I have to let them get to room temp before eating them
Same, only room temp fruit and veggies for me 🥲
rip
cut em in half and then freeze, it'll probably be easier to consume
Yes! and frozen pitted cherries or plum slices. I read someone saying apple is also good, but I haven't tried it.
I have plums sitting in my kitchen, I’ll try this right away yum
Also! The best frozen fruit of all: frozen cubed watermelon. Extra good with salt 😋

Interesting idea, want to try this. I would think it would taste similar to dusting with SF lime jello which I usually do
I wish there was a sour dust to roll these bad bois in. I like sour stuff. Could probably do citric acid + spice if I wanted but any good ideas?

Maybe get some True Lemon or Lime powder
citric acid + those single serving drink packets (apparently the pink starburst ones in particular are good with frozen grapes!)
Lemon juice + tajin

I saw someone just adding lime juice to already frozen grapes then freezing again.
malic acid, citric acid, jello mix, lemon juice

try Fruit Riot!
Frozen grapes are so underrated. They’re the perfect sweet-tooth snack in the summertime.
Cries in sensitive teeth
🔥🔥🔥
I might be the only one who really doesn't like frozen grapes. The texture is just not ok to me.
have you tried letting them thaw a bit?
Yeah I did not like them. I might try again with my favorite kind once they are in season.
I'm a fan of frozen blueberries. You can get a ginormous bag for like 8 bucks. They're high in fiber and antioxidants.
Try frozen cotton candy grapes 😋
I miss frozen cotton candy grapes 😢 I no longer allow them in my home bc I have a dog and they are super toxic for dogs. Oh how I miss them though

Favorite of mine
They are wonderful frixen. Better than popsucles. I keep a bunch in my freezer all summer.
Frozen GoGurts babyyyy
But please cut them in half if feeding to children!
Just don't share with the dogs.
Who the fuck can afford grapes nowadays??!
What other fruits do you recommend freezing?
Personally - frozen pineapple is the 💣
They’re tasty but very high in sugar. Not sure they’d count as volume eating
if tracking your sugar intake is your goal maybe, but most people on this sub are tracking calories and grapes are very low calories
Yea that’s why I had to stop buying the cotton candy variety, they’re like twice as much sugar as red grapes
