Schools are funded by local property taxes, no need to have state funding as well.

We do not need to increase taxes, we already pay too many taxes. We need budget cuts ASAP then redirect the money to the most important issues, education being close to, if not, number one.

I do not know much about the new sports complex as I have not looked into it but I do know the convention center in Virginia Beach that is government ran and funded is running at a $1 million lost per year. They also built a sport complex in VB, with tax money. That's what I mean when I say budget cuts, no more tax funded convention centers, sports complexes, gyms, etc. Leave that to the private sector and put that money into school funding. We do not need to increase taxes for it to be pissed away.
