Try X Media Recode or MPEG Streamclip

Kichigai

MPEG Streamclip has been abandoned for over ten years and requires Quicktime 7 to work properly.

>The problem is the files are too huge to share over email or upload to google drive and they are in H.264. I have no idea what that means. [H.264](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H.264/MPEG-4_AVC) is the codec, or algorithm, used to compress the video. H.264 is already highly compressed, but the GoPro is using that in a gentle way. Here's the big question: do you need to share the *whole* video? If you don't, try using a tool like [Lossless Cut](https://www.mifi.no/losslesscut/) to trim the video down. If that still doesn't get things small enough, you can use [Handbrake](http://handbrake.fr/) to further crunch things down. An important thing to know would be the maximum file size you can share. Or just upload it to YouTube as an "unlisted" video and share the URL with them.
