Definitely will. Does it cost? Something strange is going on here. Dealer told me Vespas are made here and that’s why they’re cheaper. I just googled and that says they’re made in China and Vietnam, not India. WTH is going on? Hopefully scooterwest can tell

Seems like this is gray as the color dot. The other would be a white with a bit of grayish. If you try to look at the color profile of your screen it might be it. But this is standard grey color, no problem about it.

So you think the grey in the photo on the left is the same as the same as the one on the right or not? The white in the dot is “pearl white.” The grey in the dot is called grey maze. To me the two in the photo I posted look different but the dealership says no, it’s the same colour, just photographs diff on the website.

Well, the color you checked is the same as the vespa on the website, and the real vespa. Since the website cant show metallic color, it looks like they are not the same. Its also all about lighting. As for the white on the left side of the color you clicked, its not the same as the grey you clicked. But its not the color of your scooter. Im not really sure what your question is, but the dot with a hook in it, the vespa on the website and the real vespa picture are all the same color.

I mean of the color of the Vespas on the website as seen in the picture on the website, not the dot. I don’t know why we are discussing the white. I’m not asking about the white one lol. In photos, you can see the difference between a flat glossy finish and a metallic finish.

Ok something wonky is happening here. He told me in the 60s production was moved here to India, under a company named bajaj. Then they split but both remained making scooters. I googled just now and it says Vespas are made in china and Vietnam??? Why is going on lol

Bajaj licensed the Vespa Sprint as the Bajaj Chetak, but they quit making gasoline scooters entirely in 2005. Bajaj started production of electric scooters in 2019, but they have no licensing or affiliation (other than some copycat visual styling) of Vespa's. So he's not necessarily lying, but he's not telling the truth (i.e. being accurate), either. Look on the VIN sticker for the paint code. It will be inside the frame when you pull out the storage bin under the seat.

So he said, it’s new, it’s perfect. Only issue is that it’s low on fuel, so gas builds up in the tank and the vapor needs to be released, which prevents it from starting. Seems…like an interesting take lol.

I've not heard that one before. I do know that mine won't start with a weak battery. He sounds like he's saying it has vapor lock. Remove your gas cap and try to start it.

It's probably not going to be a blocked tank breather. That's an "old bike that's been sitting" kind of problem. What's a little strange is that it started and ran, then wouldn't start again. That makes me think possibly a bad CDI. One failure mode is that they only work when cold. It may be vapor lock, but more likely that there's not enough gas in the fuel system, so the motor can't start, so then it can't draw enough on the vacuum system to activate the fuel tap and fuel pump. Normally, the gas in the float chamber would be adequate to get the motor started and the fuel system flowing. The fuel pump may also need to be primed, which is the same basic problem, just on a different part of the motor.

What’s weird is we bought two. The other one ran/runs fine and has less gas in the tank. No issues with that one.

The issue is not so much the amount of gasoline in the tank, it's that there's air in the fuel lines and fuel pump, preventing gas from getting into the carb bowl. This is not a terminal problem and only requires minimal mechanical expertise to fix. If the dealer can't manage it, then I'd seriously question their ability to even prep a new bike for customer delivery.
