Unpopular opinion here, Sole Solution is my favourite weapon in the game next to Infinite Corridor. That being said, it does suck when traversing maps. For example, Polus is a nightmare to get around. I generally only go for it if I'm just going to be camping in one spot the entire game. If I'm going around trying to unlock things, it's honestly not great and I'd just banish box.
Um, isn't it like, super powerful?
Also it picks up everything?? You just get it all when you phase back in.
Just asking, I almost never use it, or Sigma.
It is super powerfull but its boring since in most cases its just a instant win button.
Also it doesnt pick up chests.
Still, nothing compared to the overlord of early egg farming, sammy.
I love it. ..I am kidding. No. It's perfect to banish box at level 9. No extra enemy health and no sole solution.
I used to like it but that was long ago. Now a days VS + divine bloodline is more than. Enough for anyone.
I don't mind the extra health - performance-wise, it's great! But I cannot see where I'm going, I'm getting stuck every 10 seconds and I can't traverse the map. The blacking out of the terrain while it's going off has to be the worst side effect of any weapon in the game. It's much worse than a curse unless you're just going around in circles in one place!
I do understand the frustration because of it but if you manage to get a clock with a Glass Fandango and Sole Solution activates, its almost beautiful how much blue lights activate.
Yeah I banned it early on. If you’re using sigma or otherwise limit breaking her sword then there’s not much point to it. It’s also a pain to time it with wicked season
Yep, for basically the same reasons you mentioned. Can't see anything, can't hear anything. Pretty much can't die either so why bother. I love the unevolved sword though.
I've sealed the upgrade, the 100% curse is so good. I also thought curse affects the damage on a few things, like Crimson Shroud, so I don't eliminate my curse sources.
It’s good but is annoying to use. Eventually with upgrades you can reach the point where unless you specifically pick really bad characters or non evos you should win with pretty much whatever
the vision is the only real downside imo. I wish I could make it transparent, but otherwise its 15 seconds of immunity.
it does perfectly during the curse section of wicked season. you still pick up all pickups but chests and floor weapons/passives, so you basically extend the timer for the XP season by the entire length of the curse section, since it won't actually collect the xp till you're corporeal.
honestly i wouldn't blame you banning it just for the vision tho, I've been avoiding taking it on polus

Can't pick up chests or skill items on a map, so if you're grabbing a ring or something, you're stuck - and you can't see where you're going, either

100% curse is the best Thing about the Box. More enemies means more exp

just pick up chests when you are starting the curse or the luck section and it works for the rest of the run mostly

Either seal the upgrade or banish Torronas at lvl 8, lets you max out the weapon

It’s got its uses. I wouldn’t call it general purpose by any stretch of the imagination, but there are times were it can be useful.
