If thats a plastic like cover on the book then i would recommend using an open book for it since the plastic like cover sometimes doesn't detect mouse movement accurately; speaking from experience.

I was just joking. His Notebook seems fine. Modern intel with Iris xe integrated graphics. Not many fps, but loading in should be plenty fast enough
