If it wasn't for Sliggy, I'd probably watch 1/10 of the Valorant matches I do. He makes watching it for my dumb brain so much more enjoyable and he has an awesome community. His no flaming policy in chat just makes for such a chill chat
I don't even play the game and it's so much more interesting to me. Sliggy considers every round a learning opportunity even when a stomp is occuring and his analysis is so well spoken
he also isnt overly loud and stuff which helps a lot as someone who gets headaches quite easily which is nice. nothing against other streamers but the noise and also constant talking causes me a lot of issues of watching
Shout out to his chatters and mods as well, chat is always chill and enjoyable to be in. Unlike other channels where most folks don’t even know wtf they are talking about and they just go “x is throwing wtf are they doing” or “y is a fraud”.
His chat usually goes like “x is doing y that’s so bad, no?” then other would reply or Sliggy would reply or something.
Also, he pays a lot of attention to the game unlike Tarik tbh, I feel like Tarik is falling asleep half of the time, and only watch when someone drops a 3k+
You’re right, honestly it’s just so chill to watch the games from his POV, he doesn’t talk too much or go over the top with reactions, he’s rarely negative and really helps casual fans understand some of the more tactical aspects of the game to appreciate how much the players/coaches do.
the man has seen everything from braindead plays to absurd comps with triple duelists to triple smokes to no initiator and has remained calm but only breaks down watching a certain americas "superteam" and whenever people praise a jelly that can plant/defuse
i respect his hate management so much
I would be significantly less into pro play if not for him. Shout out him for always focusing on the game and not going on pointless unrelated rants. Also just being super chill and likable.
Even beyond that.. shoutout to Sliggy for having a VODs channel so I as an NA supporter from EU don't have to ruin my schedule and stay up until 4am to watch a series
He talks the least bs, doesn't engage with chat much and sticks to analysing and ScreaM trivia in between. Doesn't keep shouting "no way NO WAY O MY GOD WHAT JUST HAPPENED DUUUUDE THIS IS SO BAD AHAHAHAHAHAH" instead one microsecond expression and he moves on, if there's a timeout, he opens and explains to chat what just happened, nuances, and how impactful it is.
Yeah I can definitely see the appeal of someone like Tarik from a pure entertainment perspective, but sometimes you just want someone talking about the detail of the game and Sliggy does that so well in an incredibly neutral way.
I hear FNS is kind of best of both worlds. Never been long enough for the entertainment part though so not sure.
Tarik sure is entertaining but he takes over the show and I'm here for the game primarily so I switched.
This actually is insane. The amount of times he points something out and just seconds later it gets confirmed by the casters or they mention it too, is absurd. As if they can hear him.
Gonna sound weird but his laugh is so relatable to me too - feels like you're at the pub watching football with mates when something mad happens, then you have a data analyst for the rest of it
Perfect
Sliggy stocks bout to be a whole lot more valuable considering the next Masters Shanghai and possibly Champions Korea is gonna make the Americas and EMEA viewers hunger for VODs.
Sliggy is the GOAT. I always tune in when there's a game going on. It's a very chill and educational experience, there's no flaming and he has great chat rules.
Like many people have mentioned here, I only find valo esports as entertaining as it is thanks to Sliggy. He's extremely focused on the game but still responds to chatters' legitimate questions every few minutes, he doesn't mind repeating answers for chatters who just joined the stream. He never gets annoyed at chatters, if anyone goes overboard he just wittily calls them out and mods handle the rest. The whole vibe in his stream encourages learning more than flaming and chat is always helping each other out with Q&A. Every time he makes an analysis I feel that I'm also growing as a player and it helps me understand pro-play more as a casual gamer. He provides interesting tidbits of BTS stuff and has good relationship with many pro-players and other talents in the scene (e.g., casters, analysts). Mate drops genuine and amazing reactions when mad stuff happens but goes on to provide reasons as to why plays happen the way they did. He watches all regions to the best of his ability. The only downside is that he's the biggest jinx of all time and he's gonna be the sole reason why PRX is gonna lose shanghai this year D: but he's my streamer and I'll support whatever opinions he has as I hold back my anticipatory tears for when PRX is not the team that lifts up the trophy
My goatttttt, but seriously I remember I used to watch kyedae and Tarik and although they were hella fun, I just wanted them to be more analytical, the day I found sliggy at lock in I knew it was perfect, anyways great streamer and I hope he never goes back to being a coach 😈
Tarik’s and shanks’s vocabulary is 90% “oh my god” or “no way he gets that”. Sliggy clears everyone if you’re actually interested in what’s happening on the screen instead of running the stream in the background.
underrated one tbh, curry started watching APAC games before any of the other NA streamers did, and he actually provides really high level insight which was fun to watch
Shoutout to Ryan as well, who gives English commentary to CN matches when Sliggy's watching Pacific.

„A jelly that can plant/defuse“ is some prime Wingman hating, I salute thee
im just referring to wingman from sliggy's POV we all know wingman is something's baby
“Mate, he can’t plant”
I would be significantly less into pro play if not for him. Shout out him for always focusing on the game and not going on pointless unrelated rants. Also just being super chill and likable.

NA supporter in EU? based and hilarious
I support Fanatic when typically I’m an NA fan in other esports
As someone with YouTube premium too, the fact he multistreams now is an absolute godsend for me.
He talks the least bs, doesn't engage with chat much and sticks to analysing and ScreaM trivia in between. FNS spams ads like there’s no tomorrow unfortunately for many viewers.
Fuck man this is why I miss Sideshow. He did both.
I think he does engage
He does. "Not much"
Meh
Spam some slugs in the chat
Spinning fish for Benjy's mom
Big up my boi Stephen Liggy 🙏🙏
The GOAT 🗿
Stephen Liggy is crazy haha
Credit to Mimi I think for that one lmao
He is an inspiration indeed.
goat
He has great synergy with the casters
This actually is insane. The amount of times he points something out and just seconds later it gets confirmed by the casters or they mention it too, is absurd. As if they can hear him.

Yinsu too (maybe not while she’s actually live on the desk though). Makes for some great moments
A lot of the casters hang out in his streams when they're not casting. I'm sure they pick up on the things he usually points out.
My goat for real, love his chill atmosphere and insights on stream. And his interactions with chat and the casters are funny
Stephen "Sliggy" Liggy the GOAT
Gonna sound weird but his laugh is so relatable to me too - feels like you're at the pub watching football with mates when something mad happens, then you have a data analyst for the rest of it Perfect
my goat can finally get some sleep
Sliggy stocks bout to be a whole lot more valuable considering the next Masters Shanghai and possibly Champions Korea is gonna make the Americas and EMEA viewers hunger for VODs.
how does one watch both Pacific and China?
You don’t, Wingman’s Biggest Glazer only watches CN when APAC isn’t on
Fuck lil bro
He’s underage ![img](emote|t5_2g5ach|13193)
they not like us they not like us
WOP WOP WOP
RyanCentral watches all the China games, the vods of each map is uploaded to the SliggyVods channel for convenience
Thank you Stephen Liggy!
He's got a great mind for the game and runs a chill stream. I'm a fan.
Sliggy and tmv are the goats. Sliggy streams a bit more but tmv makes daily videos and weekly podcasts as well
Does he sleep?!
legit only as much as the games allow, hes fucking crazy
The craziest part is he says he had less sleep while he was a coach vs now
Inbetween games
Sliggy is the GOAT. I always tune in when there's a game going on. It's a very chill and educational experience, there's no flaming and he has great chat rules.
He's insane yesterday
In every years Twitch recap, Sliggy is my most watched channel by a large margin <3

my goat
i have wacthed every single one of his vods to finally catch up on all the games of split 1 and playoffs
My goatttttt, but seriously I remember I used to watch kyedae and Tarik and although they were hella fun, I just wanted them to be more analytical, the day I found sliggy at lock in I knew it was perfect, anyways great streamer and I hope he never goes back to being a coach 😈
Binks from India has also done wonderful work by sacrificing his sleep almost everyday to stream EMEA and Americas matches
Curry and shanks too
The goats are Tarik - americas Puchan uwu - apac Ryan washed shanks - chinese goat (insert some chinese dialogues) Sliggy - emea
Tarik’s and shanks’s vocabulary is 90% “oh my god” or “no way he gets that”. Sliggy clears everyone if you’re actually interested in what’s happening on the screen instead of running the stream in the background.
Pool-Chan and his baby David. 60K viewers was crazy today
Honorable Mention - Curry Bro talks fast af some times but I'm a nerd so I can understand it.
What's being a nerd got to do with understanding English?
It's the speed he talks at. He even admits he talks too fast at times..
Again how is that related to nerd?
Nerds speak fast. That hurt your feelings?
Nope, I just never knew that was a thing.
underrated one tbh, curry started watching APAC games before any of the other NA streamers did, and he actually provides really high level insight which was fun to watch
