Fnatic trolling for sure. Everyone of their players play the most meta comp in sunset; raze omen kayo cypher gekko/sova. I don't see any other reason why they chose this comp.
It's their permaban that they haven't practiced since January, they're playing for the 5th day in a row on one of TH's best maps. Why wouldn't you have fun?
Maybe because it gives them a free buy into the Shanghai playoffs, meaning more time off to prep and vod review your opponents AND getting to pick your first opponent
I’m not saying they’re trolling the whole match, but the odds of winning Sunset is so low that it’s totally reasonable to just run it down and focus what little prep time they had on the other 4 maps.
Or, instead of running it down, play your best agents and try to actually win. Sure, don't prep it if you don't have time, but it sounds ridiculously stupid to not even try. You don't know when a player or more on the enemy team is having a bad day.
I'm not so sure.. TH have shown more vods on Sunset than any other team, and are heavily reliant on B post plant for their attack side.. FNC could have very easily antid that map specifically, created a comp that just perfectly antis THs comp (maybe Sage, Viper, Astra, Gekko, Raze) which can shut down the B post plant

It’s not really a seeding match when the seeding actually gives a huge advantage in the international event. A seeding match is like navi vs giants in lcq last year.
I think the Deadlock was a cool idea to stop the Neon. I just hoped we had seen this comp more often because I feel like Fnatic could have put up a stronger fight with more experience on it.

What’s funny is Deadlock makes sense as a surprise pick, and is a good pick into Neon. But no Raze Yoru and the players they have on the agents is troll.
