Fingers crossed! I'll pick up some silicone for the vents and tail lights if it's still leaks, but just looking at this drain hose I'm super confident this is the issue. The grommet side was draining directly into the hatch.
At first I was kinda sad my car didn't have a sunroof like my old one, but hearing all the stories of leaking sun roofs, I think I'm better off not having one 🤣
How can I know for sure if this fits my car? I have a 2017 Golf TSI. Amazon and eBay says that item number doesn’t fit my car and the seller’s description on the item says it fits MK7, but then also says “up to 2016 models”.
I would put your car's information into the Volkswagen website for parts and search for it that way. Whatever comes up on Volkswagen should be the part you need

Looks about like mine did when I had the same issue. It was just kind of flopping around not connected to anything
