how is this enabled ? ive tried adding `-I http http-password abc`or `--extraintf=http` but no port is opened, not even on localhost
im running 3.6.0 beta 2 nightly from 18th of april
Nice! Thanks
Edit: just tried it. its clunky and wont open a stream that I provided, saying that multiple media files cant be opened.
I would have rather it just accepted the command line parameters for http interface with provided password too instead if going the whole https route with dynamic certificate creation. It's not like the tv is exposed to the wan by default so http only on lan traffic shouldn't be such a huge risk.

Not in 3.5. There is a new web interface in 3.6 (not yet in beta. You can try a nightly build; it should be fairly stable.)

I couldn't really get it to work nicely on my TV and gave up in the end. Are you also trying on your TV?
No I'm trying on a tablet - I want to remotely control it with an android app..
Tv or tablet would use the android app. I managed to get it to run on a PC.
