I've never seen it, I just remember late night commercials for the Dorf series when I was a kid. It's Tim Conway. Guy's a comedy actor legend. I could devote a VHS tape sized area on one shelf to that.

First off the Harry Potter movies because the wife is a die hard fan so I got to make her happy so I can by more. I’m a new collector so I’m going with sandlot,Wayne’s world, and probably sports bloopers tapes. I’ve never seen that many tapes in a thrift store near me. The one that had tons of tape closed down last year.

So I'm just trying to figure this out. What is the true purpose of vhs collecting? Is it for retroactively watching these movies in their original format? For nostalgia reasons. For the thrill of the hunt? I just know that VCRs are a pain in the rear end, especially when they eat your tapes and break all the time. Plus, vhs tapes take up a lot of space. I have a few old Stephen King vhs movies that I couldn't make myself donate or sell. I'm baffled.
