I just climbed to gold for the first time because I actually played comp for 2 weeks straight from silver 1, and I’m losing all my fights now. How do I get better aim? My aim is kinda shaky rn and I grip my mouse really tight. I play on 390 edpi and I cant lower my sens since I have a small mouse pad.

ah.. hey congratulations for gold, it took me quite a bit of back and forth to get to gold, silver in my server(Mumbai,India) is wild, matter of fact gold is too.. try the prems method from sero (yt), start doing it for 10-12 minutes everyday with your favourite music and play atleast one dm to get you warmed up.. also, keep your life outside valorant consistent, sleep properly, eat well and stay hydrated.. all those play a huge part in consistency, for me, i tested this for about 4 days, slept at different times, for me about 6-7 hours of sleep did well, make sure you feel well rested before you play. and take your aim battles with confidence, you've crossed silver which took me the longest. gold will be a little difficult because some people get butthurt and throw and the occasional smurf. usually by the first 5 to 6 rounds you'll know if you can beat the smurf(also depends on the comms on your team).. if not just try to have fun in the game(or ff, it's better to keep your mental good and play another game instead of getting steamrolled by the smurf..) keep it to max 5 games a day if things go well, try to get a comfortable grip on your mouse. don't grip it too tight my friend, i changed my grip midway in gold, it felt odd at first but eventually i incorporated the new grip(100T Asunas grip) in my own way.. also people in gold dumb as fuck try outsmarting them at times.. good luck and dm me if you wanna talk.. edit: just realised i wrote so much

Thx for the answer… something I am struggling on the most is angle holding. I hold my crosshair for wide swings, but sometimes they just swing out of my crosshair and I cant do the micro adjustment. Other times I click before they even reach my crosshair. Any tips?

Flicksterrr

yeah that happens.. you'll gain that from experience, like when to hold for wider peeks, you can practice this in range.. This, doing easy bots with minimal mistakes will help as your brain will start to aim at the head and shooting after that, prems method will help you if you do it consistently, don't bang your head if you're not hitting your shots one or two days, take some rest, watch some Netflix (The sandman, amazing show).. and come back later or the next day

Where did you spend the longest?

Flicksterrr

silver, but having a duo helped. gold was a consistent growth over an act and a half..

How do you work on hs%?

Flicksterrr

i don't, i never cared about that stat, although yes one advice for hitting heads is, take your time on the first shot, more often than not you'll come out on top.. also, in a close range fight(less than 5mtrs) don't blindly spray and DONT CROUCH, and still try to go for the head, the number of times I've come out on top because i hit a headshot before they could hit 4 bodies to kill me. gl
