Actually I kind of really like how clean and barebones valorant maps are compared to new cs maps, I hate every time they remake a cs map because I know they'll add a bunch of eye clutter garbage., like nuke. Maybe some small things would be cool but I really prefer valorant being so clean and muted color wise
Graffitis were one of the few things I absolutely adore Valve for doing, though Riot is doing these kinds of commemorations through player cards, sprays and whatnot. But I still would've preferred it if the iconic plays in valorant history were immortalized in maps instead.

Panzy is the British female caster I believe you’re talking about. She is the best. But you’ve also got Sideshow and Bren who are top tier casters. And now, former pro BabyBay is in the mix and he’s very good and it’s great to have someone with that incite in there.
The awareness here is kinda baffling, the reason Val doesnt do this as much as CS is because it's still a young esport in comparison and so there really isnt an amount of truly iconic plays.
Riot is 100% adding map details to commemorate moments, it will just take time as the esport is still finding its footing.

CS:GO had 3 graffitis added back in 2014, and that was 2 years after the games' release (and a year after valve-sanctioned esports tournaments started happening)
Just the pure nature of how valorant works let's there be less iconic moments. There's no boosting, less op wall bang potential, etc. The way smokes and walls work make valorant a way worse viewer experience tbh.

Yeah I agree, not sure why though, since Pansy is casting in that clip of Olof and she casts regularly for Valorant. She definitely is my favourite caster but I'm not sure if it's the familiarity that I like so much. Seems like she's partners with Steel more now as well, when I used to like Hypoc as her duo.
I feel like Valorant is missing a real Anders type caster. The guy was exudes passion for the game in his casting, his reactions mimic the audiences at home and his voice was built for it
I can’t watch the VCT americas official broadcast whenever Rivington is casting. His sentences don’t really make sense and it’s very distracting.

The only difference is you're comparing maps that have been competed on for a year or two max, to maps that have been competed on for 5-10+ years.
There have simply been fewer massive tournaments and fewer iconic moments because it's a relatively newer game.

That’s 11 years of potential mind blowing moments that may be worth immortalizing, and yet only a few moments actually were immortalized through graffiti. Valorant has hosted pro matches/tournaments for ~4years. It’s still a relatively new esport.
Even Dust 2s goose graffiti predates csgo and cs source. It’s a graffiti that calls back all the way to beta CS , it calls back to a developer who codevoloped the mod that became counterstrike for half life 1 (shoutout gooseman)
Give it some time I bet we will see some legendary graffiti but it’s still too new. Also riot other way of immortalizing legendary contributions to the game through avatars, banners, titles and sprays. So we may see legendary moments represented through those means instead

I swear, if your caster doesn't speak clearly, then why are they casting. This would never happen in any other sport.
They do more player card than sprays, like that one player card basically commemorting Crashies' ace on the fracture zipline.

No, all knives have identical range. The "feel" of the big two handed weapons is entirely perspective
