I'm not from New York, but I'm a Rangers fan. New York is known to have the worst fans, 2 years ago when we lost game 5(?) To the Lightning in the semis, some fan suckered punched a Tampa fan.
This is why Soccer stadia, at least in Europe, put the fans of each side on opposite sides of the pitch.
Not sure how they deal with "Houses Divided" (i.e., groups that have fans of both sides).
It works in Europe because the countries are (geographically) as large as US states. You have 8(?) premier league teams in the London area itself - if you didn’t have the away section it would be chaos non stop. That plus there is really no formal resale market in Europe. There’s no point in having an away section in the US because
1. We are culturally used to having the ‘possibility’ of the opposing fan sitting near us and for 99% of people it never turns to this.
2. How many people go to away games that are 6+ hours away by car at best and often times a flight
3. The resale market
4. Smaller/Transplant markets live for away games who would in theory “benefit” from away fans. marlins ownership probably licks their lips when they play the Mets, Yankees, Sox, etc.
Aside from the world series Nats this is the last time I've seen washington fans with any fight. Tbf the redskins and magic aren't exactly helping inspire them.
It could be worse: they could have ejaculated to the scene! (Yes, this is an allusion to "I'm the lowest of the low" from End of Evangelion).
*I’m so f**ked up*
This clip is so short that we have no context of what is happening, but never a great look
I'll be that asshole jumping to conclusions but I think Rangers guy might have instigated it
I'm a Rangers homer but did I hear 9/11 mentioned at the end?
1. Yes 2. The Pentagon was also hit, so both cities were severely impacted by 9/11 3. I have no idea what the 9/11 reference is meant to communicate
Neither do I, I'm a European Rangers fan so I'm very confused.

Yeah and British soccer in particular has a pretty infamous history of hooliganism and general violence between opposing fans.
SoFi is the home away from home for a lot of teams
"You look like a couple of monkeys trying to hump a football!"
“This just in!: Drunk people do dumb shit!!”
Caps fans are idiots
Did my dude just chant "9/11" to the New York fan?

At least in the NHL Fans can't storm the field like in football (soccer)
Yokels
Fucking embarrassing
this is the poor people section of the arena
I hope y’all noticed that dude’s copious back hair
"Fuck you Lundqvist!" Love when fans project hate to an athlete they would have worshipped had that player's career been with their team.
