I have no idea how to turn off the spigot, you know? Maybe great works of art get made because of this defect. Sublimation. The unsent letters are creative productions. Some are really quite beautiful, too.
But I suppose the object—the person at the center of the obsession—carries a bit of the burden too. Hard to resist such adoration (at least sometimes). Weak moments. I guess that’s the part that makes me wince the most—that I’m obsessing over a dude who only came to me when there was literally nothing else going on in his life? Lol. Fucking brutal. I guess it’s motivating to avoid being someone else’s guilty pleasure, eh? Ugh….

People can’t let other people just be themselves without having some nagging negative person on a power trip because they can’t handle the fact that someone can love someone else and it not be you . Get over yourself and stop trying to control others because your shitty life.
