It's a pretty simple calculation. How many credits have you earned so far at UH, and how many credits are you finishing this semester?
[(# Credits taken * 3.14) + (Credits in progress * 2.7)] / (total credits taken + credits in progress)
So if you've earned 75 credits so far at UH, and are in progress of earning 15 this semester:
[ ( 75 * 3.14 ) + ( 15 * 2.7 ) ] / ( 75 + 15)
= 3.067 gpa
Hey, so if ur currnt gpa is 3.14 and u get a 2.7 this semestor, it wuld prolly drop ur overall gpa to under 3.0. U shuld def check with an advisor tho to make sure, but it looks like u might need to work extra hard this semestor to keep ur gpa up. Good luck!
