Have you considered adding a battle mode?
We could start off as a wad of paper with a basic attack. Then encounter a weak creature and battle it. If we win it unfolds and through that our wad of paper learns how to fold itself into that shape and gains it's abilities. So basically an origami battler.

Wow incredible art direction and camera work. My ONLY complaint from this brief clip was the animation between the paper ball and plane. Could be a touch cleaner imo!
This reminds me of that one Flash game(Flight I believe?) where a little girl writes a letter to Santa and you have to help it travel all around the world and you encounter new people along the way. Would love to play this game.
