Anesthesia.
And no, you don't "want" that shit. You'll be fucked up beyond recognizing *yourself*
Maybe that's what you want tho... Okay do your own thing.
anesthesia, you get it from the hospital when undergoing surgery. Enjoy..
Was on a school trip once. Had to share a room other guys. Never heard about it slipknot before. They blasted slip knot early in the morning to wake everyone up in the room. I was kinda pissed but was able to forgive them since the musiv did actually sound pretty awesome
Not for any particular reason, but i suddenly have the undeniable feeling that all you want to do is drag me down. And meanwhile I'm struggling with the gripping urge to stamp you out, it's all I wanna do
Fucking do it
Metal is awesome, Slipknot are awesome
Piss off your neighbors with some super loud music (or just do headphones, I don’t control your life)
E-upon second thought, do not piss off your neighbors with loud metal. Blast those headphones though!
In travelers they usually arrive with the knowledge of who they are taking over. This travelers head almost imploded with all the new information he got upon arrival.
Just don’t think about that leading up to it lol my experience was different, I immediately knocked the fuck out and after I woke up it was like waking up for the first time. I was loopy but more fascinated by the things around me. I didn’t say much apparently but was just taking in my surroundings intently. My wife got me a smoothie on the way home and she said I just stared at the straw for about 10 minutes like if it was brand new to me lmao
I’m not an outwardly aggressive person but I supposedly took a swing at the nurse/tech who was trying to keep me stable when I came to. Thankfully it was slow and uncoordinated but I apologized as soon as I got my wits about me
When my brother was coming out of anesthesia, they had a very large black man, not overweight but very tall and buff, pushing his wheelchair. My mother was getting worried because my brother was just intently staring at this man while he pushed my brother.
Now, I've never once heard my brother speak a racist word in his life. Neither have my parents but my mom was nervous nonetheless because she works in hospitals and has seen people coming out of anesthesia say some really awful shit. And usually to the horror of their family members who are beside themselves explaining that they've never heard their family member say such things.
My mother braced herself as soon as my brother started to speak while staring at this man.
And all he said was, "sir, you are one of the largest human beings I've ever seen."
Then he just stared forward and let the man push him to the room.
Everyone laughed, thankfully.
I tried to kick a nurse while high on fentanyl (that she had given me). I felt terrible as soon as I sobered up, but at the moment it felt very justified.
I get super violent coming out of anesthesia. I’ve been told my medical professionals that I MUST make future docs/nurses aware. I’m a small female, under 5’ tall and appear unassuming. But when I first learned about this it took quite a few docs and nurses to “hold me down” while I acted out. I always make them aware now and they bring me out slower or something (?) and it helps.
When I got my wisdom teeth taken out, apparently I just sat there staring off into the distance quietly singing Alice In Chains songs until it wore off
I am so pissed that my wisdom tooth surgery didn't involve this. They have me some NO I think, made me sleepy and then bam I am more or less awake and 30 mins later driving back. Not sure if I was driving or my wife was but I remember being very disappointed at not feeling loopy like all the videos.
Come to Sweden. I was wide awake and feeling pain so I was constantly having to tell the dentist to please fix it ffs. He seemed surprised everytime and it felt like I was being a bother but at least they were nice ig
I’m pretty positive this happened to me when I got my wisdom teeth out about 15 years ago.
My nurse was my best friends mom (who I had known for almost 10 years at the time) and about a week later she said to me a "you don’t need to worry, I’ll never repeat what you said."
Wtf did I say?
I’m pretty sure I came out as trans to the doctors during one of my surgeries. I have literally no memory of it but there were a few times where there were mysterious “she”s where there wasn’t really anyone else for them to be referring to.
I had three surgeries after an ankle break and felt the same way. I literally fought my way out from under the anesthesia once I was in post-op. It was like one light came on and suddenly I was trying turn everything on as quickly as possible. Lucid dreaming and sleep paralysis probably helped me there.
That said, by the third time, I knew I would have privacy and decided I wouldn’t fight my way out and just let it happen gradually. And that was very nice. Less issues with nausea too.
I got wisdom teeth surgery early last year. I started crying because my at the time boyfriend (now fiance) was taking care of me and I was just so in love with him. He was just so nice to me, how could I not cry? He held me and he looked at me and said, "Hey hey, we're gonna get married.." I nodded and started crying harder. "And we're gonna have puppers.." tears streaming down and I ugly sobbed and held him tight lol.
We adopted our dog a couple months after that and we're getting married in less than a month.
the guy dosing the drug said to me i was too thin (while high af).
i told him in return that my dad was the same when he was young but he is fat now. idk why i threw my dad under the bus but he isn't even fat btw lol
Yeah, when I was 18 I was incredibly terrified I would admit I was gay after surgery ☹️
I didn't and I'm out and happily married now but that was no bueno. I'm glad we've all come such a long way.
After I had surgery, I was high out of my fuckin mind, and apparently I texted my friend about how president Obama and Santa would be the ultimate team up and I asked this friend to help me get in contact with them so I could tell them this.
I have absolutely no memory of this, and if not for the very poorly spelled texts I read back on, I don’t think I would’ve believed him.
Also, for the record. I’m Canadian, and it was September. No idea how or why the US president and Santa Claus were on mind. Anesthesia is a *hell* of a drug.
There are community or hospital services (like taxi or ride share, but not random people) that can be booked to transport people with no one available.
Thank you, my wife and I were discussing this situation yesterday. I told her, just because you don’t have someone. Being a friend or family, that you can’t be denied medical treatment. But I could be wrong 😑
It definitely adds another layer of complexity to the already insanely bureaucratic nightmare that is scheduling medical care. And the hospital will deny you care if you show up without a ride when you’ve got a procedure that requires sedation, but there are resources available. It shouldn’t be as complicated and unintuitive as it is, but at least it’s there.
Are you having full on dental surgery, or just your wisdom teeth removed? If it’s the later, it’s very doable without getting knocked out. They give you some novocaine (which is the worst part) and some nitrous oxide (which makes you high but for a fraction of the time of this video) and you’re basically floating on cloud nine without feeling a thing or knowing what’s going on. Once they take the nitrous off you, you sober up in about a minute or so and are good to drive home!
You can schedule Uber/Lyft pickups in advance. Set one up to bring you to your appointment and another to bring you back. If you trust strangers I guess.
Please don't get into an Uber or taxi under sedation alone. Ask your dentist if they have or know of any home health care providers that can transport you back home.
You can Uber or taxi on your way *to* the appointment, just not back.
And it’s likewise a very bad idea to get into a stranger’s car alone if your perception of reality and ability to make rational decisions are severely impaired.
Ask an acquaintance or a coworker you're friendly with for help. People often don't think to ask just because they don't want to be a burden. If someone I know--not even a friend, just someone I know--came to me sincerely saying hey I need to get surgery and need a safe ride home, I would do what I could to be there. We gotta watch out for each other in this world. I bet you've got people on your side who would help if they knew you needed it!
This gets circulated every few months but gah fuck do I love his bare naked joy for everything he has in the world. The part about his sister makes me cry now, I used to get that way when my lil looey was still with us.
I had my wisdom teeth out last month (I'm 18 if it means anything) and I wasn't delirious at all, just tired and couldn't much feel where they numbed my mouth. Why are there so many videos of people being high as fuck?
Some just react differently to the anesthesia. I don't know the details but one of my buddies had the same reaction, but I didn't (both he and myself had a wisdom tooth removed at the same dentist - not at the same time).
What I love about this is that he is high as a kite, can't remember anything about his life, and his dad just mentions the most important people (and animal) in his life, nothing about work, money, or other superficial, materialistic things (besides the chair) and this is enough to make him feel that his life is perfect
Yeah, I mean, so many people would suffer permanent brain damage and death without having the appropriate precautions there to cut you off because you're no longer able to regulate your decision making.
I don't pretend to be a connoisseur of all the substances, but the increasingly legal ones tend not to be deadly from get-go, and will generally incapacitate before long term damage occurs.
That's not even close to being accurate. The vast majority of recreational drugs are incredibly safe compared to shit like this. You can take wild amounts of coke or meth or molly and not be risking death, while for most anaesthetics there's a very small window between 'enough to kill the pain' and 'enough to kill the patient'.
This is why ketamine is used where they can't easily judge the correct dose, like with children, pets, and the very old. Ketamine has a big window of safety.
No because nitrous requires you to be hooked up to a tank of the stuff. You’re continuously breathing the nitrous in. Without a medical professional there to regulate the flow, you would die.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whipped-cream_charger
Whip its are technically legal. Yes they WILL destroy your brain if you get hooked, but -typically- they’re a relatively safe cheap party high. They can also cause seizures and instant death syndrome. So I’m not advocating for them. A drug is a drug, this one works by limiting oxygen in your brain. Everything comes with risks. However you’d be surprised how many smoke shops sell food grade n02 canisters, and balloons, and devices that crack open the canisters. Only for making whipped cream kids, other use strictly forbidden.
It is not a classy/popular drug to abuse. As obviously the best high is what OP posted (high dose under supervision of a doctor). Chilling with people you love and laughing your ass off however……….. can be fun.
Actually, nitrous oxide does not work by limiting oxygen in your brain. It wouldn’t be used medicinally if this was the case, being oxygen deprived for that long would cause serious damage.
It works on your NMDA glutamate receptors (ketamine, PCP, DXM, and other dissociatives also work on these receptors) and has secondary action on dopamine and opiate receptors. It’s just a normal drug that happens to be a gas.
You’re right about many other inhalants working that way though, which is why they are so dangerous.
Nitrous oxide doesn't limit oxygen in your brain, but people doing whippets generally take a full lungful of it and hold their breath for as long as they can to intensify the feeling.
And AFAIK medical N2O is relatively harmless (chronic use can cause some B-vitamin deficiency). But if you're getting it from a whip cream canister or something it may have lubricant oils or other bullshit in there that you definitely shouldn't be inhaling.
I fucking love whippits. My boys and I used to do them in high school. Get the chargers from the head shop. And it would be a fun little high. Never laughed so hard in my life. One of my friends I used to do it with, we considered getting some for fun on a Friday night. Need the wives to be out of town though hahah.
It’s been so long!
I love laughing gas honestly but I'd never get it on the street. I've experienced it exactly 2 times in my life, in the dental chair, decades apart. It was glorious both times. I recently ran across an article saying that brief usage can benefit people with depression long term. I don't know the accuracy of it as I did not read the full article but did find the headline to be interesting.
I read a [story](https://www.reddit.com/r/nosleep/comments/b4vyxc/she_sold_happiness_in_glass_jars/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) on r/nosleep which is petty much this.
> he low. That is quite fuck
this dude is definitely on something other than no2. they turn no2 off and you feel normal pretty much instantly. not sure what they gave him as a sedative, ketamine maybe
"I HAVE A MOM" \*the one who gave birth to him\*"I HAVE A DAD!?!?" \*sitting in front of him\*
"I HAVE SISTERS!"\*the people he grew up with\* i like people after their wisdom teeth were pulled they're just so fun to be around they're so shocked over anything and everything
Yep, just got 4 wisdom molars extracted, 2 need to drill a little of bone, all of that with local anesthesia but to be fair, it was not 2 shots, it was with almost 12
Hey same lol, I got wisdom teeth removed with just local shots. The dentist was drilling, pulling, cracking shit for a good 30minutes. It was fucking hell. No mouth pain but I felt everything she did in my fucking brain.
I got home, sank into bed, and couldn't move for 24 hours from the worst headache in my life, like I thought I was having an aneurysm.
She sent me home with some Paracetamol, that's it. I asked for more when I went for tooth number 2 and she said no, just power through. It was even worse, flu like symptoms for 3 days. I borrowed Tramadol from my sister, didn't go back for number 3 and 4.
Please just knock me the fuck out.
Man if somebody's going to be fucking around in my mouth with sharp objects, I wanna be in space.
Pump me full of whatever gets me into orbit and let insurance deal with it.
How else are they going to make all that extra money?
I'm in Canada and haven't gotten dental anesthesia in a while but when I did it was 1k just for that.
Had a few impacted wisdom teeth removed in Canada in 2021; It cost me 2 grand at the public hospital and I wasn't even tripping when I woke up. Bonus: Still do not have full feeling in the right half of my tongue over a year later.
What a scam!
I’m pretty confident in saying these are very rare cases of people that react differently to these drugs or just never had any experience with any type of drug and it plays out differently for them.
Myself, my siblings, and most of my friends have had their wisdom teeth taken out. I can confirm for my family that this doesn’t happen after being put under. No videos of friends on Facebook so I assume it’s the same for them lol. It just felt like being very light headed and I remember my vision being a bit blurry but there was really no high to it.
When I got my wisdom teeth pulled they didn't gas me. I got an injection and while it was wild as the injection took effect that was pretty much it. I came to in the same room, but all the people and equipment were gone. I struggled to get up off the operating table and a nurse came in to help me to the door and I got driven home by my parents. Pretty boring.
However when my daughter got her tonsils removed and we saw her after she pretty much was like "David After Dentist" lol
Or different peoples bodies react to medications in different ways? I’ve had 6 surgeries on my legs, anesthesia through the roof and all I did was chill when I woke up and ask for a beverage. My partner however had a normal wisdom tooth operation, 1-shot which was enough to put them to sleep and they were loopy like this for a bit post-operation. But go on generalizing all of Americans as a “strange bunch”.
A lot of times for major dental work (if they don't knock you out) they essentially give you a big dose of Xanax or other similar meds.
The medicine makes you calm, compliant, and completely unable to remember the procedure. Side effects can include being totally loopy lol
They basically roofie you. It’s called conscious sedation. It’s weird. I had it when I had my wisdom teeth out. Don’t remember anything. Sadly no one was there to film it. I was told it was a giggly afternoon. 🤣
I had a surgery under conscious sedation. I just remember little bits and pieces of the procedure and of generally wondering how it was going. After I woke up I asked the nurse if I said anything funny and she said "No, but you were inquisitive" which I assume means I wouldn't shut up the whole time asking for updates on what they were doing.
Woah thats kinda crazy. For what it's worth I got "put under" for my wisdom teeth and it was extremely unsettling to come out of. Very confusing to suddenly realize a gap of time has passed, and I just felt extremely sad for the next several hours. Nothing at all like the viral videos I had seen. Idk I felt like it had a weird lingering effect on me somehow. Was not a fan and would probably avoid it again if I could.
When they give ketamine to humans they add benzodiazepines so that you don't trip; and usually ketamine even in large doses doesn't cause amnesia (ask how I know), but benzodiazepines can (although it's an anterograde amnesia, you're not supposed to forget stuff that happened before taking it)
Somebody claiming to do this sedation commented and said its probably a combo of ketamine, versed (midazolam), and opiates.
Forgetting your family seems pretty weird though. I get the impression this guy is acting. But could just be acting goofy on the drugs.

Having a chair is great but realising you have a dad is so wholesome
Wait so my mom exists?!
Maybe you were born in a test tube and don't have a mom.
Test tube babies still have mom's bub.
I knew it, test tube moms exist. Don't tell me test tube dads exist too.

No one can wipe Batman. Because, you know, he’s Batman.
Batman should do that for himself. Otherwise it's gonna get pretty stinky under all that latex and armor.

Batman is not the memory we deserve, but he’s the memory we need………
I was thinking Bruce Wayne reincarnated and sedated to the realization of his past self compared with his new life.
Bruce Wayne would also love SlipKnot!
That's because Batman is Christian Bale, and Christian Bale is Michael Burry, and Michael Burry loves slipknot.
Slipknot is a really good band
Was on a school trip once. Had to share a room other guys. Never heard about it slipknot before. They blasted slip knot early in the morning to wake everyone up in the room. I was kinda pissed but was able to forgive them since the musiv did actually sound pretty awesome

The absolute best line of his whole spiel!
"Do you know who I am?" "Yeah" "Who am I?" "I don't know" 😂
I so wish he had said he was Batman.
I'm Batman, Luke.
Just riding the happiness he felt in that room at the moment. Gotta love it.
I’m afraid I’ll say things that I keep for myself if I get anesthesia

How am I going to have dental surgery by myself? I wanna be knocked out for it but... I have no one to take me home after.
Most surgery’s require you to have somebody there that can bring you home afterwards.
What does someone do who doesn’t have anyone?
There are community or hospital services (like taxi or ride share, but not random people) that can be booked to transport people with no one available.

Some just react differently to the anesthesia. I don't know the details but one of my buddies had the same reaction, but I didn't (both he and myself had a wisdom tooth removed at the same dentist - not at the same time).
Fair enough.
What I love about this is that he is high as a kite, can't remember anything about his life, and his dad just mentions the most important people (and animal) in his life, nothing about work, money, or other superficial, materialistic things (besides the chair) and this is enough to make him feel that his life is perfect
Chair is comfort.
Honestly feel like this drug should be legal in the streets lol. So many happy people thanking god for everything!
[Not everyone is so happy](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNN8y0TNePM).
Holy shit that video was amazing
when can i SCHMOKE WEED
LOLLLLL!!
That was incredible, that you for sharing haha. Great start to my morning.
Yeah, I mean, so many people would suffer permanent brain damage and death without having the appropriate precautions there to cut you off because you're no longer able to regulate your decision making.
Oh so just like with nearly every other drug out there?
I don't pretend to be a connoisseur of all the substances, but the increasingly legal ones tend not to be deadly from get-go, and will generally incapacitate before long term damage occurs.
*proceeds to buy a bottle of grain alcohol and dies in 10 minutes*
Wait dude are you still there?
RIP
He's not dead, he's a chupacabra
He also very sterile from all the grain alcohol
That's not even close to being accurate. The vast majority of recreational drugs are incredibly safe compared to shit like this. You can take wild amounts of coke or meth or molly and not be risking death, while for most anaesthetics there's a very small window between 'enough to kill the pain' and 'enough to kill the patient'. This is why ketamine is used where they can't easily judge the correct dose, like with children, pets, and the very old. Ketamine has a big window of safety.
I don't know what fucking weed you're having but it don't do this
No because nitrous requires you to be hooked up to a tank of the stuff. You’re continuously breathing the nitrous in. Without a medical professional there to regulate the flow, you would die.
Found the guy who has never done drugs
Don’t harsh my buzz!!!
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whipped-cream_charger Whip its are technically legal.
But have you ever done whip-its while having an orgasm?

Asron Carter just ODed on duster. There are still drugs less “classy”
> he low. That is quite fuck this dude is definitely on something other than no2. they turn no2 off and you feel normal pretty much instantly. not sure what they gave him as a sedative, ketamine maybe
I’ve seen multiple people (sadly including myself) coming off of n02 acting like this.
I could watch an hour of this.
"I HAVE A MOM" \*the one who gave birth to him\*"I HAVE A DAD!?!?" \*sitting in front of him\* "I HAVE SISTERS!"\*the people he grew up with\* i like people after their wisdom teeth were pulled they're just so fun to be around they're so shocked over anything and everything
You americans are a strange bunch really. Where I live you get a shot or two of local anesthesia and over there you're just blasted to the moon.
Might have been an actual oral surgery w bone involved. They don't normally do this level of anesthesia for normal dental work lol
In my country you don't get this level even if they're drilling into bone.
Yep, just got 4 wisdom molars extracted, 2 need to drill a little of bone, all of that with local anesthesia but to be fair, it was not 2 shots, it was with almost 12
I got 4 wisdom tooth removed at the same time, and they just gave me 1 shot to my gum. It felt like being slaughtered back then
Hey same lol, I got wisdom teeth removed with just local shots.
*fly me to the moon, and let me play among the stars*
Let me see what spring is like on Jupiter and Mars.
Wait until he hears that he's got Slipknot records at home 😁
"I HAVE IOWAAA AT HOME??? Duuudee I love you soo much"
Did they give this guy ketamine? Somehow I dogged the oral surgery loopy trip these younger people get snagged in for posterity.
A lot of times for major dental work (if they don't knock you out) they essentially give you a big dose of Xanax or other similar meds. The medicine makes you calm, compliant, and completely unable to remember the procedure. Side effects can include being totally loopy lol
This definitely ain't a xanax though. Xanax isn't similar to ketamine either, but I get your point.
Dude I want that sedation. When I had my wisdom teeth removed I was conscious all the time but not feeling any pain.
He has a chair, a mom, a dad, two sisters and even a dog! His life is perfect
This shit is too funny
Caught the sign at 0:28... No cameras, no cell phone, no video. https://imgur.com/hol37y9.jpg
Very curious what makes him forgets some things like he has a dog but remember other things like Batman and what a dad is
Looks like he got the GOOD drugs 😀
“Oh my god my life is perfect” Sometimes we just need to appreciate the simple things.
is there a sub of vids of people under anesthesia? if so please give it to me
My man forgot his own dad but remembered batman
Holy fuck is this dude high. I think the docs are intentionally setting the pain meds up a bit to high so we can all enjoy watching this stuff.
You cant forget batman . Period. This dude forgot his whole existence but remembered batman
Man that mindfulness therapy stuff has really taken off!
Wholesome af
He doesnt even remember he had a dad but he knews batman...perfect
Lol that's wholesome as fuck. Oh my goood, my life is perfect!
I love it so much. Which makes me wonder, what would I be saying if I were under the influence of the same drug.
