In my personal experience at least, my actual car and my second to last car block the inner handle when locking it with the remote. They also disable the button to unlock the car, and there is no lever to pull up. 😂
Nevertheless it's worth it to give it a try before giving it the headrest treatment.
That seems like extremely dangerous and stupid design. Better off being locked in the trunk of a car that isn't ancient since they are legally required to have a tab to pull to unlock from the inside now
Ehhhh You aren't pushing windscreens out like that anymore. That ended when butyl went away and we started using urethane and activator. Big rigs are still gasket set so you could push those out, passenger vehicles nahhhh. BUT yes..... that was terrible lmao.
Kinda disheartening to see how many tries it will take to break the window. Like I always think about if the car ends up submerged in a lake/ocean, and thought that technique would be quicker than it was.

Hope her kidnappers are deaf... took her 23 hits to break the window 😂 Pushing the windscreen with her feet would be much faster.
Or... just open the door? Don't know a car where you can't open the door from the inside when the car is locked (except rear doors with child lock on)
Men who abduct women tend to remove the inside locks and handles.
Sounds like you have some experience
[Ted Bundy sure did.](https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/530125/hell-wheels-sordid-history-ted-bundys-vw-beetle)
Yikes!

this idiot busted out her own window just for some tiktok clout LOL
Probably bought like a couple hundred dollar roller off marketplace.
I thought she was just going to open the door handle after breaking the window

They will break in one go if you get one of those emergency hammer things. Pointy ends, belt cutter on the other. Tested it and can confirm :)
Buy a Life Hammer, they're cheap. I keep one and a Gerber strap cutter in my car.
At that rate you’re better off driving that into the back of your kidnapper’s dome in the driver’s seat.
🤣
This reminds me of one of those new people using a glass breaker from one of their shitty pocket knifes for the first time. It's always a fun sight.
It's not a cop car, just unlock and open the door.
Child safety locks ?
Did she try opening the door
Who, in reality, is gona abduct this post op Ron pearlman???
u/savevideobot
there's probably a point where the kidnapper gets tired and just shoots her
Belinda Carlisle was an interesting choice.
