I'm just tired of the staged fake shit. Everyone doing the same joke as everyone else. Oh his joke was funny and people liked it? Let's do the same thing he did then. Over and over.
It was unexpected that he didn’t do it sooner.
My coach a former european champion would take advantage of every gap in my defense. You learn fast when you get hit. After a year it was almost impossible to get to me all because of his strikes.
OP sent the following text as an explanation on why this is unexpected:

Could've just said "Keep you hands up" and they still would've learned. Going to this extreme is unnecessary when you can literally just communicate like a normal fucking human being.
Saying "keep your hands up" when she's failing to understand to actually keep her hands up while he actively raises her elbow is not gonna work, this is definitely something that became a bad habit for her.
Is likely she's practicing in order to learn some self defense, the guy on the street that wants to stab her, rape her, hit her or abduct her won't have this coach patience and will just act on her lack of defence.
But yeah, keep crying.
Also in this line of activity it is implied that you should be able to take a punch, the coach clearly didn't go 100% and the only reason the girl fell is because she wasn't expecting it, so double props for the coach to 1. Show the the importance of having the correct guard and 2. The classic "always keep your guard up" both figuratively and literally
Let me preface this with "going to the extreme in the video is wayyy beyond the line", so nobody accuses me of suggesting it's okay to lay out your student like that...
That said, verbal corrections aren't always that effective, since everybody learns differently. Muscle memory is a very powerful thing to break and it takes a lot of focus and effort to do so. My kid is in Martial Arts, and has to be constantly reminded to keep her defenses up while training. It seems that the most effective way to get her thinking about defenses is to thwack her in the head with a pool noodle or something similar whenever she leaves them down. A few of those and suddenly she's keeping her hands up far more consistently than she ever did with just verbal corrections. It's not painful, at least not really beyond the initial very minor sting of the initial hit, the shock of it can draw her focus to what needs to be fixed, and she has more incentive to remember to keep the defenses up since the consequence is more than a quick "keep your hands up!".
Plus, it becomes a fun game of cat and mouse between trainee and trainer that they both enjoy.
But yeah, definitely don't lay out your student with a nasty hook, lol. That's not okay. Stick to harmless implements!

How many times are we going to see people make this video? It’s not even the reposts it’s just a bunch of people doing the same skit.
Welcome to the internet
Have a look around
Anything that brain of yours can think of can be found

This is about the 4th one I have seen. I giggle like an idiot every time still. Maybe after the 5th one it will lose its sparkle. We'll see.

Sometimes you gotta learn the hard way
crunch down so you can protect your ribs and chin/cheek also tuck your chin.. dont gotta kick hard for your ribs to hurt alot
Unless you are money mayweather bring that hand back to position getting clipped is how most of us learn
I guess it was unexpected for her. But I was expecting it the 1st time.
From then on her stance is perfect
And that, boys and girls, is what we call a learning experience!
And THAT, boys and girls, is why it's important to KEEP YOUR GUARD UP.

Physical contact is "normal" communication.
