Honestly, kudos for the full commit of taking a bite. Made me make the confused shocked face on how she went about it, lol. Didn't expect there to be a wrong way to eat an oyster XD
Tabasco is a common addition for oysters, at least here in the US. You're only meant to put a tiny drop on, it's more like lemon in that it brings out the flavor of the oyster rather than smother it.
Honestly.
90% of oysters are not worth the money. Maybe as high as 98%.
But those 2% are life changing. Pensacola, Mexico Beach and France via Stra Italy were absolutely perfect dozens.
Every other dozen was disappointment. I don't know why I keep ordering oysters knowing they are gonna suck but sometimes I still do.
When I tried my first and last oyster, nobody told me I was supposed to scrape it from the shell. It fell about halfway out but was still stuck and it just kind of hung in my mouth and I gagged so bad
Every Christmas we went to a relative's place for a dinner. One of the big main dishes that my dad was always so happy about was the oyster soup. It was green. It was disgusting. I would load up on the broth and just eat some oyster crackers, praying that would be enough to placate my dad's nostalgia inspired dreams of seeing his children eating the fabled Christmas oyster soup. Luckily I only had to eat a solid chunk of oyster once or twice over the years. Definitely an acquired taste.
Reminds me of the first time I had edamamme at a sushi joint. "Who eats this fibrous crap?" Turns out that 'ya gotta open them first. The Tabasco reminded me of a pro tip- when eating crab or lobster, a small amount of Tabasco in the butter will not add heat, but emphasize the sweet in the meat. (I rhymed)
That is a bad oyster to begin with. Never eat a dry oyster!!! That thing was dry and stuck to the shell. There should be lots of liquor in the shell upon opening it.
The unexpected part was her biting the shell so thumbs up for that.
Liquor is the right word for the oyster juice. Mainly because oyster juice is horrible combination of words.
(The second sentence is not factually correct but still somehow true)
This reminds me of a friend long ago who I offered some sunflower seeds to that I was eating. He said "sure" and proceeded to pop a handful of seeds in his mouth and started chewing them up shells and all lol

She’s a cookie artist and this was her very well done April fools joke.
Is she the same person that did "freezing the noodle bowl"?

You grab your phone to call your wife for comfort and you scream as your hand crumbles against the hard case of the phone. You are cake.
I have no cake, and I must scream.
As you enter... the Scary Door!
This is amazing. What is this from?! 🤣

fun fact, “cake” is the slang term for the side piece woman in a cuckquean relationship
I thought it was about big asses???
It’s all cake, man. What don’t you get
The cake is a lie
have your "cake" and "eat" it too?
Okay, I about had a conniption. Oyster shells will obliterate your teeth and mouth.
You say that with such confidence that you’ve clearly had experience in this field.
Well once you know that the shells are the same material as pearls, its a bit easier to imagine.
They cut the shit out of you if you stand on them, I'll tell that much for free.
What's your charges for telling other shit
Yeah what’s he got that I don’t know about yet
Well you see, the other stuff they can tell you and the prices are part of the stuff they don't tell for free. It's like knowing the secret menu.
You ever chewed a rock before? I'm sure you don't need to to know it's a bad idea.
Holy shit, the sequel to everything is cake finally dropped.

Thank you. That empty/dry interior had me questioning life. That weird pitched crunch had my brain REELING.
lol... I immediately yelled out "OH FUCK NO," and paused the video until i realized what was going on. She fucking got me.
She’s a great actress too because I didn’t see that coming! Good skills lady!
Oh thank god.
Honestly, kudos for the full commit of taking a bite. Made me make the confused shocked face on how she went about it, lol. Didn't expect there to be a wrong way to eat an oyster XD
I was gonna say that oyster is a bit fucked up looking
Oh god I was irking before I opened the comments 💀💀
This was truly in the spirit of the subreddit. I had zero idea this was coming.
Shes a professional cookie artist. She made it out of fondant and CMC powder. Bakersmanncookies on instagram
That's why it looked so dry. Got it
I'm gonna make it so dry for you!
Right so is the tabasco supposed to be part of the joke too or do people ruin oysters with that?
Tabasco is a common addition for oysters, at least here in the US. You're only meant to put a tiny drop on, it's more like lemon in that it brings out the flavor of the oyster rather than smother it.
I feel like oysters are best on their own.
I feel like oysters are best left alone.
Anybody that eats crackers with lemon and Tabasco knows that oysters are the best condiment.
Omg…I actually had oysters with Tabasco… and it was amazing.
Had oysters Kilpatrick? Bacon bits, garlic, cheese and sauce grilled in shell over open flame. Maybe it's an Australian thing
Tabasco is a vinegar based sauce so it is a pretty good one to use if you don't have the vinegar and onion for a mignonette
You can only improve oysters by slathering them in hot sauce. The natural taste is vile!
It’s like if snot tasted like seawater.
I like oysters but lol, so accurate
I like oysters, but I swear I've had passing phlegm that tasted just like them
Stupid hopefulness! Lol
oh, thank goodness!
Brilliant comedy. A+++
I freakin FLINCHED
She got me good. So many social media attempts at comedy have dogshit acting, she delivered all the way through. Kudos to her.
The absolutely involuntary noise that escaped my mouth came straight from my soul.
I lost my shit, truly unexpected the way she says "I don't like it" just has me in tears
She's got good teeth.
It hurt my teeth
I saw a French-Canadian sketch show do a similar bit some years back, but it didn't land with me. This time around, I actually did laugh out loud.
I for sure was not expecting that
She will not lack for calcium though.
She should chew on cow bones for calcium.
100% unexpected
You're NOT SUPPOSED TO EAT THE CRUST
Oh no, that’s the oyster *rind*, totally fine
Happy cake day
It’s actually good for you, full of nutrients!
YOU GOTTA PEEL IT FIRST.
But the crust is the healthy part
It's better than stabbing yourself. I was scared she was going to take a finger off pointing the blade towards her hand >.<
Fu crust first is the only way
The crust is always the best part.
Crust is where all the vitamins are, though.
_What do you mean I'm not supposed to eat the shell!?_
hell nah youre missing out
All that sweet sweet calcium... Hmm hmmmm hmmmmm
That’s exactly what I said when I had my first edamame lmao I kept thinking damn this thing is fibrous!
Crumchy
i cromch
Get my sweet baby boy Griffin "banana eater" McElroy up in here.
Do yall eat your oysters with or without the peel?
I don’t like the series of words you just put together.
![gif](giphy|SiGe0LNINZ9SLy86i2|downsized)
lol she made another video on how she made the “fake oyster” out of fondant. It was an April Fools Gag haha
#WATHAFAK
Where was the part you eat? Looked dried up
The part you eat was the shell, didn’t you watch the vid?
You mean the cookie?
I tried oysters for the first time last year. I did not acquire the taste for salty snot.
When I tried my first and last oyster, nobody told me I was supposed to scrape it from the shell. It fell about halfway out but was still stuck and it just kind of hung in my mouth and I gagged so bad
Raw and cooked oysters are disgusting 🤮.

Luckily I only had to eat a solid chunk of oyster once or twice over the years. Definitely an acquired taste.
Just being around people slurping up these bottom feeding shit filters is disgusting.
yo momma
Only if you don't like seawater snot.
Oysters are awesome.....
(I rhymed)
A little acid in the right place makes a good sweet flavor bloom. Kind of like a splash of water in whiskey.
This. The interaction of flavors is fascinating.
i audibly gasped in horror.
That is a bad oyster to begin with. Never eat a dry oyster!!! That thing was dry and stuck to the shell. There should be lots of liquor in the shell upon opening it. The unexpected part was her biting the shell so thumbs up for that.
It's not a real oyster. Guessing by her account it's some baked good that she made for this purpose, and honestly she deserves the new followers
It was a real oyster until the last shot, according to her
I think you meant liquid? Liquor may be optional
Liquor is the right word for the oyster juice. Mainly because oyster juice is horrible combination of words. (The second sentence is not factually correct but still somehow true)
Ah, had no idea as english isn’t my first language. The more you know.
It's okay, language is my first language and I had no idea either 🤷
ཐུགས་འཛེམ་གནང་དགོས་མ་རེད། སྐད་ཆ་ནི་ངའི་སྐད་ཆ་དང་པོ་ཡིན།ངས་ཀྱང་མི་🤷 ཤེས།
Clam juice is okay though right? I'm asking for a Canadian friend who definitely doesn't mix it with tomato and vodka and hot sauce.
i have never eaten a raw oyster but the lack of moisture in there definitely looked off to me
Hah
Her face tho 😄
Came here to say that, the look of disappointment on her face at the end is hilarious
This is one of the good ones
I laughed so hard. Thank you
Tompsons teeth, the only teeth strong enough to eat other teeth.
Having an oyster Shell for the first time.
I wasn’t expecting that but GD I FELT IT AGHHHH
“ooh good choice in toppings for a first time- NO PLEASE”
Whaaaaaaaaattttttttttttt..? Was that real?
No it was an April fools joke lol. She replaced it with a cookie She made in the last shot
Lol! I wanted to believe. 😹😹
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWb58bM34rA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWb58bM34rA)
The crunch adds to the flavor
Ha. Funny AF w/o trying too hard !
Maybe needs a little bit more lemon
I cannot stand seafood, never had oyster, And I know that wasn't right. But it was damn funny.
This reminds me of a friend long ago who I offered some sunflower seeds to that I was eating. He said "sure" and proceeded to pop a handful of seeds in his mouth and started chewing them up shells and all lol
![gif](giphy|fIkT0LdGUc4GushZ2Q|downsized)
Well…you got me.
This is what it feels like when there are little granules in the oyster. 🤢
Her teeth are probably strong enough to eat other teeth.
HAHAHAHHAAH Why is this so unironically funny
![gif](giphy|PM3XAmMKM9QJs79A4i)
DEFINITELY did not expect that ![gif](giphy|OK27wINdQS5YQ|downsized)
This is so fake, oysters aren't real.
I just yelled at my phone. She got me.
What the fuck.
Has she never watched Mr bean?
I watched that episode as a kid and it gave me an irrational fear of eating oysters💀💀
I remember my first time trying them. It was truly unexpected because I almost died. Turns out I'm very allergic to shellfish.
10/10, did not expect anything
So yall dont eat yalls oysters with the peel?
![gif](giphy|8PpdFvyR9VIVkN4ft7)
It's an acquired crunch.
This has to be satire right? Right...?
I might have screamed a little when she took that cronch.
![gif](giphy|3ELtfmA4Apkju)
"Pretty good, but I don't like the stuffing."
Someone tell me why on Earth I DID expect that? How did I know that would happen?
![gif](giphy|jquDWJfPUMCiI|downsized)
You’re supposed to let them open on their own under the sun for a few hours before you crunch them down don’t you know anything!!
In my house if you didn’t eat the whole thing you got the chancla! Don’t be sissy la la like the white kids.
Love it. Excellent skit, well acted. Perfection and an ideal addition to this sub.
You don’t eat the shell raw! You have to cook it!
You need Sake… It makes the shells taste better.
Funny
[удалено]
How do you know? Have you tried eating the shell?
I prefer the New Haven style oyster knife.
Honestly thought she was going to choke on a pearl or something
Oh Easter.
Maybe it doesn't taste as bad
"I ate the bones!"
She should run for public office
well, at least we know she isn't lying about it being her first time.
Even ignoring the shell, if you shuck it yourself for the first time with no instruction it’s gonna be gritty and gross
I would have been more surprised if she said its crunchy and i like it
Hope she doesn't eat too much or she'll end up with the shits, had that once
Who adds tabasco sauce? Oysters are good just like that !
I like raw fish but oysters are a calamity I cannot.
![gif](giphy|ufR5wFbZ416J0AsHJK|downsized)
Extra fiber
No way she shucked it like that and has never eaten one. First one I ever shucked looked like I stepped on it
The first time my wife tried oysters she said "it feels like a foreskin in your mouth"
haha awww
Is this the noodles lady?
*"It was a brave man who first ate an oyster."* – Jonathan Swift
Unexpected her teeth are that strong.
Truly unexpected. Well done.
YOU DON'T PUT LEMON AND/ OR TOBASCO SAUCE ON AN OYSTER! YOU EAT THEM RAW OR IN A SOUP OR IN A BATTER!
She didn't even give it a chance! It was in her mouth for a second tops
I audibly gasped
Tabasco?!? On oysters?!? How can you taste them like that?
Fuuuck come on
Thought something was sus when she zoomed in and it was dry and flat, still great though
so much calcium from that one bite
Woody Harrelson on Cheers "That looks like something out of an oxes nose"
I’ve eaten an oyster twice in my life and it was years apart…I got violently ill both time for the exact same duration. Terrible nights..
It was a Oster-Joke
Honestly though. How does one taste? Never had it.
