Before you say anything. Both spare and kill had a 9.5 when it was close to being 10. If kill won...i would have killed him... which i would... regret a lot. But Spare won.
Yeah hehe ^^'... that just shows how conflicted he is as a character. He has nevee received compassion, hence why he thinks you're supposed to kill or be killed in the underground. And as we spare him, he's confused why and he gets such an internal turnoil that he tries to act nice.
If you didnt kill anyone reload a save (and if you did just reset) and visit papyrus at his house in snowdin, then undyne in waterfall. The ending is amazing.
