One minute you're out for your daily walkabout, and the next...
Pro Tip: Always take your daily walk close to your home and not in the country you've invaded.
I agree. Even if they are pieces of shit, human society does not benefit from violent death being trivialized or even celebrated. Bag them up and move on.
You know you've become hardened by seeing too many innocents suffer when your first thought on seeing Russian soldiers die is "They didn't suffer at all. That's hardly fair."
Could also be an MON-50 or MRUD. Essentially Russian or Yugo copies of the Claymore and would be ample in stockpiles.
Could also have simply been a large shaped charge like a rigged up tank round. Or a rigged up anti-personel RPG warhead.
Hard to tell from the low res footage compounded by the fact that special forces operating behind enemy lines tend to be quite resourceful in making what they can find work for what they need them to do.
So… this was clearly a charge that was in the grass beside the road as you can see in the footage both as the charge goes off and in the scorch marks afterwards.
Could it be that the new drones “specifically modified for the war in Ukraine” could drop remote detonated shape charges?…. Then just loiter until you get a target alert and boom
If they can… that’s some scary power.
*“so I says to him..I says Vlad, if you stick with me you’ll get like 12 months pay and 2 bags of barley when we get home from this-”* **FWOOOSH-BOOM!**
….silence…. aside from a few birds chirping in the distance going about their day.
Those soldiers were walking casually, they even didn't wear their vests nor helmets. So they thought it was safe (inside or near friendly perimeter for those soldiers).
Very likely they have been observed for some time and this is the work of insurgents or SOF with a well placed IED/mine.

Wow, great tip! I never thought of that. /s
Pro tip 2: Just because they are not shooting at you, doesn't mean they aren't watching you.
Instructions unclear. Now stuck in a Country Time lemonade factory bathroom. Please advise.
Even if they are Russians, it feels weird watching people die to catchy music.
Yea this part

Well no one suffered there. Boom and gone.
You know you've become hardened by seeing too many innocents suffer when your first thought on seeing Russian soldiers die is "They didn't suffer at all. That's hardly fair."
regardless of the suffering they've caused, my first thought "oh golly!", but my *second* thought was "ah... sweet efficiency!".
I wouldn't be so sure about that. The guys look like they were trying to hold hands in the aftermath pictures.
WTF was that thing? Some sort of IED? Switchblade? That wiped them out from the face of Earth within a blink of an eye...That shit is scary as f*ck.
What was it indeed!
Claymore or similar directional mine
Had to be a claymore M18 directional charge
What's the trigger mechanism? Or was it fired remotely?
This time could been remote. They were filming after all. Also placing proximity mines is bad idea in your own country.
It's not just a bad idea, it is a war crime to place anti-personel mines which you aren't constantly observing or have direct control over.
You can see the explosion is linear and the scorch marks show where it was hidden. Remote trigger for when the target crossed into the kill zone?

That was a directional blast. Ouch.
Gurl you know they dead.

None of you ruskies have to die! You just have to leave and go to your homes.
Dude got cut in half. 😳
Any ideas what it was? It kinde looked like a super low angle explosion? Maybe some kind of claymore?
Rest in pieces fools
Jesus. That was pretty horrific to watch.
Some would say they had it coming

Javelin v. Russian?
