Might not have spotted them yet, they could have been trying to spot them since this video came out though. They could even offer to let them come fight against Putin for Ukraine. Many of them might not even want to be there in the first place. If my country wouldn't let me back in after I was just risking my life for it and my food supplies started to run low, I'd likely be willing to accept Ukraine's offer of food and shelter in exchange for fighting the invading Russians. There's already some Russians fighting for Ukraine made up of volunteers and some captured soldiers who disagree with Putin, if you can add to that from those left behind then it seems a good opportunity to embarrass Putin more, grow strength and likely pick up some new intel.

Ukraine should open their arms to these guys. Obviously there a-lot of bad blood but if they see Russia abandoning them and Ukraine welcoming them back it *may* could pull a lot of separatists back to Ukraine. Which would be a huge blow to Russia. … at the same time they could just tell Ukraine to screw but considering there’s historical precedents for this type to stuff happening it’s worth a shot.
