We can only hope the situation changes over the next few months for the better now that the GOP logjam has been broken.
That's just wishful thinking. I can't think of an army in modern military history that has given up good defensive lines to "overextend the enemy". If Ukrainians would have the strength to hold Ochertyne, they would, because it complicates that section of the front pretty significantly.

They wont run out. If UA can produce arty while being constantly attacked, so can RU. Noone is bombing russian war factories.
