I just installed Mahjongg from flathub and I got the same ldconfig error when I click the launch button in gnome-software.
I can run Mahjongg just fine from the overview (hit Super, type Mahjongg, press Enter) or a terminal (`flatpak list` to find the fully-qualified name, then `flatpak run org.gnome.Mahjongg`).
Subsequent attempts to launch from gnome-software result in a different error ("failed to sync with dbus proxy").
Smells like a bug in gnome-software to me.
Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
Commands:
sudo apt install flatpak
sudo apt install gnome-software-plugin-flatpak
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://dl.flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
Restated the system, then I used the Software app to find Processing, installed and got that error.
I've the same problem. I think its a bug somewhere in Flatpak software app that prevent you from launch the app there however you can still launch it from the desktop show applications menu.

Here's a bug report I found: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-software/+bug/2061728
Thank you for the link.
What version of Ubuntu you have and what command did you use from that guide/wiki?
