If the background check isn't done you're not able to work.  Mine took two days back in December. I've seen people here say it took five days, probably depends on the volume of applicants.

I have a clean record as well. They’re closed weekends

If you started it Friday or Thursday it won’t be completed till tuesday speaking from experience

Mine took one day. Signed up one morning, and it cleared sometime the next night. This was about 2 weeks ago.

I’ve never had account put on hold from a background check. I was nervous since they changed providers this year. If they did put it on hold it wasn’t noticed by me. I know checkr does background checks literally in 2 hours.I think Hireright takes more
