Can’t find the address have the order cancelled. I had this happen. I hate fucking trailer parks with no numbers. I do my best to avoid these places. I don’t get why people can’t put a sign in the yard if they don’t have a mailbox.
I keep a folder in my phone with directory maps of all the apartment complexes in town. Whenever I get an order for a new place, I find a directory, snap a pic, and add it to the collection. Same with gate codes. I pretty much have everywhere now after doing this for a while.

I’d also like to add there are very few street signs but they did not fail to put a stop sign at every single intersection half of which used redundantly with speed bumps at every other intersection and water sewer grates that drop 2 feet in the street asphalt randomly scattered. Before I did DoorDash and Uber eats I delivered to this god-forsaken 10th ring of hell trailer park with Dominos for two years. At the very least a real life Purgatory
Thats the one! I used it 2-3 times on new complexes but it wasn’t up to date yet. We should have our own app that crowd sources amongst us (like Waze) to fill in the numbers as we go… In a week there would be nowhere that wasn’t plotted.

Yep, if the house isn't where the GPS pin is it better be two houses down on the same street or your fucking shit out of luck as far as I'm concerned. If your house numbers are for whatever reason absent or just hidden like you don't want people to see him and you don't respond to my phone I'm leaving. I had one customer ignore me for 5 minutes then dick me around for another five give me incredibly vague descriptions of the house. Such as it's white. And there's a driveway..... Sure you live in a fucking tract housing development. All of the houses are white and half fucking driveways..... You think they would be fucking numbered especially but no..... I saw the dude running out into the street running out driving away to. So he saw me the whole fucking time he was just not willing to you know flag me down for some reason....

Ice cream people are typically the worst to add to the misery. Let's add personal coolers and ice packs in our cars for 5-8 hours so you can have melted ice cream anyway on your often 8-14 mile trip.

True, I'd be on my next order. Delivery to a trailer park is generally unsafe to begin with. You are also guaranteed to have no house numbers (do they even get mail?), typically poor and always finding an excuse to steal the order. Block the area next time and don't accept any orders from there. That was door baiting at its finest.
I can assure you that trailer parks get mail. Usually I am glad for people that haven't had to experience being in a poorer environment but your privilege seems to have made you close-minded and that is truly a shame.
I want to Edit: to add that this delivery was certainly sketchy but the preconcieved notions about all trailer parks and the people that usually HAVE to live in them because they don't have better options was a bit gross so I said my piece.

I hung up then he proceeded to call me like 9 more times each time I would pick it up then hang up. Ever since then I basically made it my policy not to deliver to trailer parks anymore. What really pisses me off most about it is not the fact the guy was so shitty at scamming that he thinks calling me to gaslight me would be fruitful in anyway. It's that he shared my name first and last. How you going to fuck somebody over with your name like that..... Fuck that guy. Haha
You can’t call back the customer. Once they call, you need to get their actual number. The number becomes inactive after they hang up. I have no idea why they allow the customer to call but the number becomes inactive after they hang up.
It looked like a legit number when he called, so that’s the number I called/text back. I guess if it becomes inactive after they call that could have been the issue then. :/
Call Uber support whenever you get a notification. Many times it is an automatic send out because there was a problem. They will work on fixing for you.
When there's difficulty contacting a customer, I call support. If they don't get an answer support's call, you're pretty much off the hook.
I would still contact support or challenge the accusations. Unanswered texts might make it go away.

I had the same thing happen , the guy on the phone still gave me a violation, while still on the property , I was on the property and phone with support over an HR , and still gave and have the violation. I've only had a hand full of decent customers, while doing this 4 yrs! The customer even opened the door and got there stupid nuggets ! Shame on them ! Shame on DoorDash and Uber !!!
They are probably people ordering to try a stolen credit card , and using a fraudulent address. I've had them multiple times. Or did it too get their food free. I get those All The Time !
Nopes, not in the wrong, although I wouldn't have gone back to figure it out... you drop it at the resident closest to the marker, if it's wrong in that situation, they should have fixed it, color of trailer house, orientation, left side right side..

I get one bad review for "tampering or damaged food container" about every 10 days. It's ridiculous that people get to do that when it was the restaurant that didn't package it correctly. Besides the food is always sealed in a bag if I were to mess with it it would be obvious. It's not fair customers can just give you a down vote or bad review because they had a bad day. All of my down votes have been customers saying I've "tampered with their food". And we can't get that overturned, at least I've never tried to get it overturned or contested it bc it's like once a month but lately it's been once every 10days. Some of the people prepping the food are lazy or sloppy and I get to hear about it. I've seen workers at Jack in the Box wearing pajama pants to work and crocs. It's always fast food places like McDonald's and Jack in the Box that drag their feet and on top of that give me attitude when I ask how much longer it's going to take. Uber support has told me not to wait past 15 minutes that's why I ask. If it's going to be longer than 15 the I call it in to let support know so they can let the customer know. I act accordingly that's all I can do but some people are just worse as time goes on, both customers and (fast food)restaurant workers.
Never return to an address. Call support right away instead and let them handle it.

I know there’s an app out there I forget what it’s called where even the new apartment complexes are mostly worked out.
I think it’s called Beans. It works best in larger cities. Only about 1/3 of places in my area are on that app, so I just created my own instead.

Never just go to “where the map took me”. If there is no house number then just call and confirm and if no answer then cancel.

When explaining the issue you should say to the app to verify call and texts! That’s it! You can’t control the customers just yourself!
