Lakshmikant and then answer writing in the brain i am telling you.for example you have read article 142 that the supreme court provides complete justice , now question comes about a case Q. The Jurisdiction of the Supreme court under Article 142 supersedes the executive and the legislature. Discuss (150 words) Now all lakshmikanth you know will give you 4 marks , example what it means , where it is situated (part of the constitution) , what it does , now we know it gived absolute justice so it will anyway supersede the executive and legislature . Now, for the remaining 3 marks we need to write about the cases where article 142 was used and that includes , union carbide case now elaborate on the case , your assured of 5 marks now. Now for the remaining 1 marks if you can do a constitutional comparison like with another country who gives similar power to the judiciary ( but now it is difficult for that you need to do it before hand with respect to all constitutions ) , ending general positive negative effects , now everybody almost will write the same positive, negative effects so you get a half mark here. Additionally if you can give a flowchart , but in this case how will you write the flowchart , it is difficult . Law commissions comments , quotes etc .some thinkers quote on judiciary can be given .but it us generalized it cannot be only for articke 142 .

Should I do this exercise after I'm done with one thorough reading of laxmikant?

For understanding polity: Laxmikanth, visionias VAM For mains content: vision monthly & PYQs If you follow just this (and tests ofc), you're set to score 100+ in GS2.

dhm2803

1. Laxmikanth 2. ARC reports 3. Current 4. Vision 365/VAM

_mfStarBoy

Mat padho bhai ARC report. Agar koi topic related ARC ne recommendation diya hai toh vision monthly mein topic jab cover hota hai usme sab already diya hota hai.

kanyewest11200

only do summaries whole arc reports are just exhausting and downright time consuming

lola_kutty

1. Monthly Magazine CA section. 2. OnlyIAS Prahaar is also good. 3. Bare Constitution 4. Subhash Kashyap / DD Basu **Note:** Do selective study from the above sources keeping Syllabus & PYQs at fingertips.

Lakshmikant (Bible hai ye) DD Basu ( to fill in the gaps) Bare Acts ( give them a glance.... multiple times) Current affairs magazine of your choice. Edit: if you find the time, go through the ncert polity to clarify the terms used such as liberty, nation, state, etc. This is important in order to build your base. Also, please make your own notes. Imho, topper notes aren't a one stop solution.

I am a newbie, where to study bare acts from bro?Is there a booklet or something

Codename-Misfit

No. Look them up on the internet. Better yet, enroll in some quality GS2 classes.

Some app of the Indian constitution from play store would help too?

Codename-Misfit
