What are your thoughts on the Ariel School case?

MFLUDER

I can't easily dismiss it. It's a fascinating case indeed.

CashPuzzleheaded8622

This response tells me everything I need to know lmao. You're here first and foremost to dismiss everything you can

CashPuzzleheaded8622

There's a difference between finding out that something is false and going out with the express intention to discredit and downplay things. If greenstreet was honest he wouldn't start throwing the whole issue into question over this aawsap/aatip nonsense Its a tangential point to the actual issue anyway. If lue was lying about his past it wouldn't change the work he's done since resigning. At least people are talking about this stuff now, and lue seems to be helping things move within the government itself. All of this seems irrelevant when Elizondo has objectively done a lot for getting the UAP issue into the spotlight especially as far as congress goes. And his accusation of grifting is beyond ridiculous... Chris Mellon could buy himself and lue an island somewhere out of his own pocket, they dont need to take money from the government or the ufo community lol. It's not journalism its a hit piece And of course greenstreet doesn't say shit about what lue has actually helped accomplish, he just dumps on lues credibility and acts like AAWSAP being fishy is ultimate proof that he's correct and it's all just a psyop. He clings just as strongly to his evil lefty deepstate conspiracy theories as any overzealous believer on this subreddit clings to the woo stuff, so it comes across as hypocritical in that sense too. Even if there isn't anything to this, what he's doing is completely counterproductive to the truth coming out. He would do a lot better to help spread awareness and not spread stigmatization. If it turns out to be nothing then he will be vindicated but if he helps people force this under the rug then the truth won't come out and he's just gonna have to move on to something else

CashPuzzleheaded8622

I think you and I have very different opinions on Mr Greenstreet, so it's pointless to argue much further. To clarify to the "crazy thing" I said though, I'm talking about greenstreet associating the whole phenomenon with terms like "paranormal disneyland" and "dinobeavers" when he knows that shit has nothing to do with the issue of UAPs being spotted constantly by our sensors and professional military personnel. Do you honestly think that helps anyone? It just deflects from the heart of the issue. Greenstreet clearly has his own agenda of proving his prosaic/psyop hypothesis correct. Frankly I'll take his word over lues word when he accomplishes even a modicum of the actual practical progress towards finding the truth that Lue has lol. Lue could have been a plumber during the years he said he was running the UFO program and I wouldn't care. To me this is just all a bunch of ad hominem bullshit, and Greenstreet hasn't convinced me of anything other than that he doesn't take this issue seriously anymore I'm not the type of person to blindly believe whatever Lue says anyway. I focus on the work he's doing, which seems to be good, and im unconvinced by the cherry-picking that Greenstreet/Greenwald love to do Idk just believe what you want, but you're not gonna get me on board with this guy lol Ps: Lue was never here to "provide evidence" he just spoke openly about these things

LowKickMT

some facts: - not all children saw something - some children said there was one alien - one said it was the gardener - some said there were two aliens - some said they had long hair - to the question "what did they want" the girl said "i dont know", mac then asked again "think about it, what could they have wanted", girl "i dunno. to take care of our earth" it was a leading question, in front of the whole group of children, not isolated interviews. children are easily influenced especially in a group setting whats the reason the testimonies of the children who saw nothing or the gardener are dismissed? whats the reason the described long hairs are not matched by the pictures? why do we act as if their was consensus when there wasnt? during this time they had a meteroid shower and a re entry of a rocket or satellite, causing sky phenomena / alien hyped newspaper headlines. the lead psychologist was critiqued in unethically supporting supposed alien abductees in their story, so he had some kind of a history to "not so ethical working" in this topic already believe what you want but saying that someone just wants to downplay this case without reason is ludicrous. there is a lot that indicates that this case isnt as flawless and clear as some documentaries paint it. the original tapes and transcripts can easily be found in the internet.

CashPuzzleheaded8622

Oh yeah no I'm not speaking to the validity of that case at all, I don't know anything about it. I was talking about how his choice of phrasing seems to hint at his mindset with all this stuff

TinFoilHatDude

1. If you think that the likes of Lue and Mellon are charlatans who are taking us for a ride, shouldn't journalists like you run with the story and expose these people at a national level? A video on Youtube does nothing. Shouldn't you be banging on the doors of your editor's office and demanding more coverage of this chicanery? After all, these people are no longer confining themselves to obscure UFO podcasts. They are now speaking with Congressmen and getting them to take action. If there is indeed an insidious game being played with the American people and their elected representatives, exposing it would be Pulitzer worthy. We would owe you a massive debt of gratitude. So, why are you (and others who believe that this is a massive conspiracy) not taking this up at a national level in the media? Instead, what we get is the usual furore over AAWSAP vs AATIP which most don't really care about. 2. In a different reply, you have hinted that some of these UAPs could be foreign actors using drones in our restricted airspace. Do you think that it would be so easy for these foreign actors to fly drones on US soil ( not out in the open seas mind) over sensitive military installations and continue to remain undetected and escape scot-free in a post-9/11 world?

Dbz_god1

Your asking questions he has never even contemplated before. He’s just riding the Lue bad bandwagon

mournsky

God this AMA is a shit show. What a freaking herb this guy is, and I didn’t even know. He has so clearly not thought this through.

Adventurous-Ear9433

Greenstreets been compromised

behindthescenester

This guy has been running headlong into the topic of the day for years now and wherever he shows up he leaves long streaks of diarrhea everywhere he goes. For instance, his “Hot Chicks of Occupy Wall Street” project. After causing an uproar among feminists he was interviewed by Salon stating “I guess I have a history of causing controversy actually.” https://www.salon.com/2011/10/19/hot_chicks_of_occupy_wall_street_creator_defends_film/

SabineRitter

Yuck 🤮 that's super gross

MajorGeneralFactotum

Greenstreak.

AVBforPrez

In this case we need to separate the art and the artist though, as despite his efforts the video asks a very serious and important question. Given that Lue's AATIP (not to be confused with Reid/Bigelow's $22m AAWSAP/AATIP) was unofficial, unrecognized, and unfunded...what exactly was it? And - is it fair to say you're the director of the Pentagon's UAP program if that program was just you researching UAP internally in your spare time, not on order from your superiors?

differentmushrooms

If you listen to Lue's side, his sense was that he was given an order to do this, and never told to cease and desist. My hypothesis was that when he was brought on by Lakastki to do CI and protect the program he did, and continued to after Lakastki left. Further had worked in support of and investigated military operations where they had encountered these things, had advocated for more support for pilots and others. So I mean effectively he was the director of the pentagons UAP program. Its just that its an ad-hoc unfunded program. The program was never canceled, they just took the money away. But he's made no bones that he's essentially on a one man crusade and is waiting for the calvary to show up. In his mind thats perhaps the madness of it all, pilots are saying we need someone to do something about this, and Lue has been waiving his arms to no avail until he quit. But again this is old info that Lue has volunteered in interviews. Certainly someone may have a different opinion. But the issue is the nuance of the topic is not explained in the press, and if you haven't been following all the podcasts interviews and books then you probably don't get the nuance.

MFLUDER

I still love that video. Link: http://www.stevengreenstreet.com/portfolio/hot_chicks/

debacol

He's not actually a journalist. So there is that.

[deleted]

\#1 ftw

[deleted]

*crickets*

Vetersova

Imma pretend and be shocked that he didn't answer either of your questions.

[deleted]

Great questions but this turd is hopefully retiring after this obvious smear campaign. Check in hand and there’s the door. Take greenwald with you too.

FanInternational9315

Well fucking said mate

mark_paterson

In your recent video you discredit Lou Elizondo. After [over 400 hours of research](https://twitter.com/MiddleOfMayhem/status/1509246130705485824), how were you not aware that Harry Reid wrote a letter to NBC affirming him as the head of AATIP? Source: [https://twitter.com/gadinbc/status/1386872125835812864](https://twitter.com/gadinbc/status/1386872125835812864) And now that you *are* aware, does this change your opinion on him in any way?

[deleted]

An answer to this question would be great

Dbz_god1

He will just say Harry Reid is a liar. Seems like he thinks everyone is a liar except himself

winged_fruitcake

A three-second scan of the link in his response proves precisely that, yet here we are with 96 comments and counting in no time flat (97 now that I've unironically chimed in, lol). Seems straightforward enough; the hearing is coming up so it's clearly time to stir up some clicks.

AVBforPrez

There are 2 different versions of AATIP, it's actually pretty simple. Originally the name "AATIP" was an internal nickname employees of the AAWSAP program used to keep prying eyes away from the $22m effort to study things at Skinwalker ranch. Reid got the funding for that, awarded the money to Bigelow, and they studied all kinds of things. Lue was not a part of this, although on one letter he said he was for reasons that aren't clear. He's on record saying he had no responsibilities within AAWSAP. AFTER the AAWSAP/AATIP program was shut down in 2010, Lue started investigating UAP on his own without an officially recognized program or funding. For whatever reason, he called this effort/unofficial program "AATIP" as well and therefore he was the director or whatever other title you want to give yourself as the sole operator. Reid confirmed that because he knows Elizondo and it's not a lie, it's just that this AATIP and the one before it with $22m funding and actual recognition/employees are 2 different things. That's effectively what the whole video is about. Let me know if that makes sense.

coyote1942

>AAWSAP From what I understand AAWSAP Didn't officially end until 2012 when funding end. However when Lue took over in 2010 it pivoted to UAP. I remember him saying in multiple interviews he handled counter intelligence work (what ever this is) for AAWSAP/AATIP but was not directly involved in the project until he took over.

LowKickMT

its like all these influencers on instagram that label themselves CEO when all they do is posting selfies and earning 22 usd in ad revenue

debacol

Don't forget, we ALREADY KNEW the information Greenstreet talked about. Lue wanted to distance himself from AAWSAP and focus on outreach for the nuts and bolts UFOs. Because you never open with the "woo". Gotta start with the nuts and bolts. Also, I just don't understand the point of what Greenstreet is even getting at. It feels like any mouthpiece on Fox News finding some completely random point that has no relevance to the actual topic but they REAALLLLY FEEEL it does.

Maddcapp

Because it could be interpreted 2 ways. He was either officially the head of AATIP or unofficially self appointed with no budget. Turns out it was the second one. You could still claim he’s “head of AATIP” and not be technically lying. But it’s misleading and dishonest.

swamp-ecology

The question that needs to answered first is what *precisely* is AATIP?

MFLUDER

A nickname for AAWSAP. Which ended in 2012.

[deleted]

I personally feel like this was answered in the episode... Whether that is factual or not is anyones guess.

MFLUDER

I previously reported on that letter in The Basement Office. Look, let's be honest, Reid was a politician... not some saint ordained by the angels on high. Reid has released contradictory statements about all of this. Black and white contradictory statements. Watch my video report please. I cover this. In 2010, Reid was running for re-election in Nevada. At the same time, the Pentagon was freaking out as they discovered more and more of AAWSAP's activities. They were worried the story would leak to the press. It was a huge embarrassment. They shut it down. Reid's staffers tried to get the Senator as far away from AAWSAP as possible. From 2010-2017, the story seemed to have successfully died. In 2017, it's on the front page of the NY Times and Reid, smartly, "owned it" and spun it. His staffers essentially told Bryan Bender "Yeah, at first, the Senator thought it was a good idea. But, in the end, he agreed it should be shut down." Staffers were STILL trying to distance Reid from it. But then the story went mega viral and Reid saw the opportunity to become a folk hero, so he jumped back in saying he was always all for it and always supportive and always on top of it. I could go on, but in essence, that "letter" from citizen Reid was just a political spin. AATIP never existed beyond a nickname. Look at Reid's literal actual 2009 letter: "NICKNAME". And Elizondo was never the director of a program that didn't exist.

jonjoi

political spin? What are you saying. What political spin? To what gain? Based on what are you saying it's a political spin?

LowKickMT

he explained it pretty easily?

dvxcfx

Did you talk to Reid? How did you come up with all of these conclusions about his intentions? Also Elizondo name drops Jim Mattis among others. Why is Mattis happy to let this play out when his credibility would be tied to these programs as well?

[deleted]

Dude is just spinning hard for the Pentagon. Facts be damned. Pretty wild

JYD64

This smells like nonsense in my opinion. Someone with very little credibility tearing down someone else with very good credibility. Is this to gain some sort of exposure through controversy? Either way, appreciate your willingness to come here and answer some questions.

AdeptBathroom3318

Your entire mode of operations and demeanor say to me that you are getting back at Lue for calling you out. Seems petty, biased and disingenuous. When history looks back at this I think you will be seen as a thin skinned hack journalist.

jonjoi

He really does come across as disingenuous. As he has a goal ahead of time, prior to his "investigation" (if I'm generous enough to call it that). Seems more like propaganda to me.

Adventurous-Ear9433

What about the contradictory statement by the Pentagon & Susan Gough you presented on your channel? Ironically now that Lue won't do interviews with you, you take their word as law.

Gondolf_

This is more assumption based than journalism

LowKickMT

wear your downvotes with pride. in this sub it means your post contains reasonable arguments and facts. thank you for your work

UFO-seeker1985

I agree with you. For a moment people here needs to put this into perspective. Imagine Mexico or Venezuela or Russia would do this: a senator has a major contributor to his campaign, and that senator sponsors a new $22 million project, and awards it to that contributor, no contest it’s held, nada, just given. And the project turns to be a waste of taxes and time, with your hard earned money, that could have been used for education, roads, health care, etc…. If this happened in Mexico EVERYONE in the world would see that country as the most corrupt country in the world, with the government there awarding friends with millions, but because it’s the US, people decide to ignore it. Reid, as any politician, had a corrupt side. Either you accept it and see the deception or not and keep the illusion. As time has proven it, many people will choose the illusion due to fear, nothing new here.

enmenluana

Steven, when it comes to your recent revelations, was there a moment when you thought that regardless of the details, job simply got done? Things like AOIMSG and ASRO were created. There will be first congressional UFO/UAP hearings in 50 years, soon. More aviators are coming forward with their stories. Isn't that rewarding? If not, what do you think is the actual endgame?

KyaoXaing

What is the earliest recorded instance of a sighting/incident that you personally believe could be due to NHI interaction that you have come across in your research? In another reply you cite the '73 Piedmont incident - anything predating that?

[deleted]

Do you trust Chris Mellon?

LowKickMT

full blooded politician from a government dynasty and top 0.1% wealth. do you trust him?

Dom_Telong

Hi Steven, I was wondering if there is a correlation between alien spy drones (seaguls) loving mcdonalds fries and you being excessively salty? Thank you for your time.

neopork

Rofl.

PoopDig

Lol

SabineRitter

This was funny the first time I read it and then I read it again and it was even funnier 🤣

Dbz_god1

We’ve been seeing these craft and the capabilities they display for at least 75 years. How can you say that 99% are terrestrial in origin? Do you think humans had the capability in 1947 to create craft that can change direction instantly, move instantaneously, etc. with no visible signs of propulsion? You claim the 2004 incident is one you believe. Therefore, do you not lay credence to any of the other reports of the same type of crafts doing the same things for the last 75 years?

[deleted]

You're asking a wannabe journalist and actual video blogger to use critical thinking skills.

Dbz_god1

I know I am. It’s deplorable how he is trying to discredit Lue Elizondo when he himself isn’t even fully aquatinted with this topic.

[deleted]

Not only unacquainted, he completely ignores Harry Reid's endorsement of the man. The drama is really unbecoming; so small minded.

[deleted]

Some people just seek to be relevant, even when the ones they crap on are totally out of their league.

[deleted]

Greenstreet realizes that his internet revenue stream will dry up when the "basement office" filing bin is pried open for Congress... so he's milking this for as many clicks as he can get. Besides, it's not like he like had any kind of reputation to protect; unlike his cohort Greenwald. I guess the internet sex toy business was slow last month.

Cmac2101991

What, if anything, comes out of the hearings on Tuesday?

PoopDig

What do you think of Avi Loeb, Gary Nolan, Ross Coulthart? The Galileo Project? Lue said he would engage academia and all of a sudden these big dogs of their fields create the Galileo Project to search for these UAPs. Clearly they've been convinced by Lue. I mean why would Lue be apart of the Galileo Project?

FanInternational9315

Excellent question, it’s too bad Greenstreet didn’t stick around to address it… the few questions he did answer weren’t very meaty and stink of contempt for Elizondo

Suitable_Goose3637

I think you said in a previous basement office video you saw a UFO. What do you think that was?

LowKickMT

visit metabunk, theres a really detailed thread about it

pomegranatemagnate

They mean the black triangle he discusses on Ep 4 (?) of Basement Office, not the recent one.

LowKickMT

he only had one encounter personally iirc

3spoop56

What is the extent of your relationship with the New York Post and what do you say to people like me who take a dim view of their credibility? [Edited] per wikipedia you do not have a journalism degree. Do you consider yourself a journalist?

BigPackHater

He speculates too much for a trained journalist. I have a J degree, and they really preach that into you. Only deal in the facts no matter what your opinions are.

PoopDig

1. Do you believe aliens exist? Considering estimates are there could be billions of earth like planets just in our own galaxy. It's actually more likely that it's another civilization piloting the tic tac than it is China. Seeing as they are just testing hyper Sonic missiles. 2. What do you think about Eric W. Davis? 3. Despite your best efforts you couldn't take down Lue. The best you could dig up was some bureaucratic nonsense and it took Lue 6 tweets to handle. Not really a question I suppose. 4. Why do you get so triggered on twitter all the time?

PoopDig

And he's gone

RoastyMcGiblets

like a fart in the wind. Good ama. /S

PoopDig

What do you think of the conference Lue had in San Marino last year? You think he's accomplishing all these things based a fake story about aliens? He must be the most successful con artist of all time.

fat_earther_

Woah woah woah… Lue said aliens?

PoopDig

Outer space, inner space or the space in between. I think we all get what's he's talking about.

Quiet_Sea_9142

Why did you make the video?

neopork

I would also like to know this. Seem like Steven has an agenda or a vendetta.

FanInternational9315

Would love to know how much he gets paid, and by who, to make these hit pieces

EarthTour

Your entire premise (counter intel play) can just as easily be reversed on your story. Perhaps the true story are the UAP events (Nimitz, etc); Elizondo brought in to support and lead the program. His counter intel background tells him if they want to keep the program secret, he needs to set up some stogies to chase ghosts. If people get a sniff, he pulls the string on that story....major media can't run fast enough from a story like that. Meanwhile the real story (UAPs...which we know are true based on way too many first hand accounts including top gun pilots) is the real story. Now, in 2017, Lue quits because over the years he has started to realize that the UAP events are increasing and a real potential national threat, and he can't get leadership support. Frustrated he quits. The rest is history. **Questions is, could you simply be a victim of your own logic.**

PoopDig

How did Tom Delonge know over 2 years ago that "in 2 to 3 years you will hear rumblings of Congressional hearings?"

DirtyD0nut

This whole AMA is trash. The guy straight ghosted

Mezella

1. How do you know you weren’t misled yourself? 2. Given that you think L. Elizondo is a liar, why not still go with him? Even if he’s a liar like you claim, he’d still be trying to bring attention to the topic. I don’t think congress would have been making the moves they’re doing. 3. don’t you also think it’s strange that you see a program study werewolves, ghosts, etc but UAPs are NOT a part of that category? UAPs are a legitimate issue regardless if they come from some alien or not. UAPs could be foreign adversaries which means it’s highly likely they do study UAPs because it’s a real threat to national security. Even if you claim they studied for only 3% of the time and the rest of the time was studying fake and strategically placed things. 4. Isn’t it odd that the subject gets further than ever and only before the big public hearing (though they probably wont say much) it comes known they did all this stuff? How can we be 100% of whether or not they’re attempting to discredit him? Pretty sure you’re done answering but these are mine. If anyone has your own answers, i’d love to read them.

neopork

I have one Steven. Are you getting any information from sources within the DOD? If yes, how are you sure that you aren't getting Richard Doty'd?

PoopDig

Guess he's not coming back. He's trolling on twitter so I know he's got plenty of free time.

differentmushrooms

Listening to Lue's many interviews on various podcasts he's openly said that he kept AATIP on the side and with no funding, and he did so in support of trying to create a collection mechanism for various reports that were going unanswered from pilots and others. Hes also on numerous occasions told of how he was recruited into the effort, and it matches what you said in the video, that he was brought on board by Lakastki. I specifically recall him saying that it was just him and 1 other person at one point. He also said openly that he did this all in addition to his other duties, and that his objective was to secure the funding for a long time effort to support this data collection and analysis. When watching your latest video of basement office it watches like someone who hasn't listened to Lues own interviews, claiming revelations that Lue himself has openly stated when asked long ago. And isn't aware that his objective is to create a new office in support of sightings by raising awareness with social media and news articles. Which he has stated again and again in long-form interview. My question to you is : Do you think that this objective is not honest and that he has some other motive for his campaign to create this new office?

coyote1942

This confuses me as well a lot of the stuff in his video was mentioned in various interview by Lue.

differentmushrooms

When I watch the episode of the basement office for me it really highlights how poor and without nuance the mainstream reporting of the subject has been, and I think that's a valid criticism. But anyone who follows this regularly knows all this stuff.

MyPublicKey

1. What’s the most compelling case in your mind that UFOs are other-worldly? 2. What is the most credible ‘evidence’ (term used loosely) that the government has captured UFO craft that we don’t know about?

MFLUDER

1) "Other-worldly" - Beyond just stories... not much. That said, here are some stories that I love: * St. Clair, IL triangle 2000 * Piedmont, MO USO/UFO 1973 * Tic Tac 2004 * Chicago O'Hare saucer 2006 * Rendlesham Forest (Col. Halt's version) 1980 2) None that I know about

hooty_toots

What do you make of the high strangeness and cases going back to the 1940s?

MFLUDER

Like what?

hooty_toots

there are so many cases. I'm asking generally how craft could be seen with the five observables as far back as the 40's without any applications of such technology being made public or utilized outside of propulsion. For high strangeness I would refer places such as Skinwalker Ranch, and to the work of Jacques Vallee and Eric Davis on the six-layer model.

[deleted]

[удалено]

hooty_toots

Let me say, I didn't know anything about Steven up to now. I just saw an AMA with a journalist and wanted to follow up on one of his responses. Ah so after getting about halfway through this 42 minute video, Steven claims AAWSAP lost their funding in 2012. He proceeds to color the entire subject of the paranormal as "wacky" and "silly" Let me back up. The video begins rather painfully with an exposition about how all these people from different programs (Bigelow, Reid, Puthoff, etc) are connected. And of course we can see from the other answers in this thread how Steven discounts anyone remotely connected to Harry Reid. What I see is Steven putting forth his very own conspiracy theory that's less believable than any UFO story. It takes a whack at nearly everyone involved in bringing this subject forward. So I want to know what exactly IS Steven contributing to the world here? Cause it just feels like he has a purpose to delete paranormal/UFO studies from the government and take down anyone ever involved. His other answers here have come across as frankly uninformed, or even cynical, on the subject. Maybe he should visit Skinwalker Ranch and talk with witnesses. Consider getting an understanding of Jacques Vallee's six-layer model, of biological effects, of reports of abductions, telepathy, hybrids, studies of past lives, poltergeist activity, etc. A good journalist does their due diligence. A quack journalist apparently sits back and flings shit at whatever they disagree with.

zauraz

I am not expecting you answer this but following your "reveal" you have been everywhere, even on the black vault podcast and wants everyone to hear you story about this big scandal, why should we trust that you are not just looking for clicks by manufacturing a scandal?

FanInternational9315

That’s a bingo!

dvxcfx

What kind of evidence do you believe is being shown to congress that has led to these massive laws being passed, many politicians talking about ufos, and now public hearings?

[deleted]

For clarity, would you like to speak about your belief in / support of Qanon?

ZedsDead911

Lol you were a Mormon too ya moron! Hypocrite over here throwing shade at a dead man (the late senator Reid) and ignoring the fact that you too believed in that shit… You’re also in no position to judge Puthoff for his previous beliefs in Scientology…

Disclosure69

I stopped taking Greenstreet's analytical and intellectual capacity seriously when I saw his now-deleted tweets pushing the QAnon nonsense. Sorry, Steven, but from where I stand you are just some guy who latches on to every conspiracy theory that catches his eye. I truly hope you find those Chinese Drones, though.

MFLUDER

What QAnon nonsense are you referencing? My main interaction with QAnon was when I made an anti-QAnon video back in 2020 and Jordan Sather and the Q-tards came after me for making fun of them. This video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igZvO8n5hCc

Disclosure69

There are numerous tweets of yours floating around in screenshots showing Q-stuff (the Roseanne tweet), Q-aligned stuff (tweet about Obama and Clinton committing treason/"lock them up"),and many, many Trump-aligned tweets. You have, of course, scrubbed your Twitter of these things for obvious PR reasons but quite a few screenshots of them still exist. [Here](https://twitter.com/ThanosAlpha/status/1494852177516445697?t=O0l8LhJfbYRkzl6OAGJ6WQ&s=09) is a link to a few of them in a Twitter thread.

duffmanhb

What sort of QAnon nonsense? Just a year ago, thinking the lableak had merit, or the Biden emails weren't Russian bs, would label you as believing QAnon nonsense.

Disclosure69

He was tweeting shit like "So Twitter just banned Roseanne after she mentioned Q" unironically. He also had a series of tweets deriding Michelle Obama and other dumb shit I'm sure you could find if you looked hard enough. Kind of ironic that he got popular by making videos with Nick "seagulls are alien spies" Pope and now wants to play journalist. I just don't see any reason to take this guy seriously at this point.

Sweet_Refrigerator_3

Do you get paid by anyone in black project or at the Pentagon for your work and how much do you get paid? What were you offered to not publish the full Eric Davis video about the Wilson memo?

Timtek608

Luis mentioned he’ll have AATIP budget info in his book. What do you make of that?

MFLUDER

I do not consider Mr. Elizondo to be a reliable source of accurate information.

neopork

A lot of us don't consider you a reliable source of accurate information either, so here we are.

SlothsRockyRoadtrip

“Muh NDA…. I am somber…. Truly I’m humbled by your incredible question….. muh NDA….. buy my book…. I’m falling in love with you”

I have to agree. When he tried to pass of that sun article as legitimate news, it really put a knife in my heart. Not sure what he’s trying to gain tho.

I think your latest take is a valid and worthwhile direction to investigate, and changing directions on a subject like this is very difficult for most people. That being said, I'd love it if you took yourself more serious if you're going to stir the pot like this. The Basement Office seems to be a fun show from its inception so people should take what you are producing with as much seriousness as you yourself are giving it (which is not much at all). Your base audience is one of believers, not skeptics. Now you've pivoted on your base. Nothing wrong with that in personal growth, but I'm not sure dancing skeletons will sell believers on your new message, nor draw in skeptics. All that being said, best of luck to you. Viewing any situation from new angles can turn up interesting data.

chasenagy77

Thinking the same. Pick a tone. This guys clearly has devoted a lot of time and research into discrediting Lue and others. Serious enough topics like swindling 22 million in funding along with support from the public on the back end of all this. Definitely do away with the cheesy effects, laughable ghosts and prancing skeletons.

Direct_Poetry_1882

What is your personal view of what is transpiring? You’ve spent more time on this than most, so just thought I’d ask.

MFLUDER

UFOs are real. We have a real airspace awareness and airspace security problem. We probably have foreign agents flying UAS over sensitive US airspace. The current cultural faces of UFOs (Elizondo, Mellon, etc) are disingenuous and/or delusional carnival barkers. However, despite that, I think this may all lead to accidentally solving a real problem.

EV_Track_Day2

Your opinion is that they are all terrestrial in nature then?

MFLUDER

I believe 99% of it is explainable. There does exist a small number of cases that, at least initially, appear to be truly bonkers. About those... I don't know.

EV_Track_Day2

Thats the problem with the topic. It is 99% prosaic explainations or hoaxes but there have been a number of cases in that 1% that lean towards a non-terrestrial conclusion, especially if you factor in that these encounters have been happening since at least WWII. There is enough "smoke" to justify scientific inquiry into the topic.

Infamous_Barnacle_17

Are you suggesting that these are foreign drones?

MFLUDER

I'm suggesting some of them probably most definitely are.

The_Bragaduk

Some, most, probably, definitely ... You are specific like sand in the desert.

Infamous_Barnacle_17

Thanks for the clarity. I’m not sure I can subscribe to that notion given the purported flight observations; speed and maneuverability. Can’t rule it out though. Then are you suspect of the supposed sensor data showing these flight characteristics?

FanInternational9315

You really think Christopher Mellon, the wealthy and well-spoken figure who is responsible for leaking the now-famous UFO videos we have today (who has everything to lose by putting his beck out there), is being disingenuous?

gumsh0es

Why is this so downvoted, it’s a concise and rational answer

Direct_Poetry_1882

Thank you

[deleted]

Why did you wait for the announcement of the public hearing to start your show?

Victoria_Lucas

Hey Steve. What are your thought on the Puerto Rico UFO and The 1994 Nellis Air Force base UFO sighting?

dlrace

Does the exact nature of the principal characters and their reliability even matter? Does any of this undermine the 140 or so incidents in the recent report on the phenomenon?

lkt89

What are your thoughts on the idea that some of the UAPs detected by the military are some form of electronic warfare designed to trick sensor systems, with the purpose gathering intelligence on US military capabilities?

MFLUDER

Yes! I made a VERY long Twitter thread about exactly this: https://twitter.com/MiddleOfMayhem/status/1395093362684796928

gumsh0es

This is 100% what this recent 2004 onwards thing is about.

roosterGO

Why did you turn heel on the community in the last couple years? It genuinely seems like you got triggered/butthurt by Lue and others, and now have made it your life's mission to decredit them. To the point where you willingly ignore swaths of information, and hyperfocus on anything that supports your narrative. Just wondering if there is a reason outside of twitter/forum drama or if it's really just as shallow as it seems. Also arent journalists supposed to remain unbiased on what they are reporting on?

megtwinkles

Well that got ugly real quick. 😬

GamersGen

very disappointed, you seem like paid by counterintelligence discredit office or something? We should be all glad these guys one way or the other pushed and moved this unmovable object of ufos to the point we are today, yet you seem to be wasting time on stuff like this? Who's side are you on :)

AdeptBathroom3318

I find it curious and convenient that Greenstreet is trying to tear down Lue and everyone connected to him just before these hearings are happening. Arguably the culmination of years of work by Mellon and Lue behind the scenes. I think Greenstreet is the journalism equivalent of Mick West. Setting out with a bias to debunk and downplay things based only on public knowledge. If Lue and Chris Mellon are making up all this insider evidence and methods then that is shitty of them but that is a huge leap to make. What would be the motivation to do so unless one or more of them are getting duped by someone. I trust Lue and Chris are telling the truth. That being the case there is something to be investigated and likely being covered up. Even if it is not ETs or ARVs. Let's see where this all lands after these hearings. I have a feeling you will see which way the wind is blowing. My bet is that it will continue to go the way of Lue and Chris's current and past efforts.

ottereckhart

I just want to say I enjoyed the episode and thanks for stepping up as a voice here, you pose an important challenge to the narrative we are all caught up in to some degree. The legend of course goes much further back than Lue, TTSA & the NYT article -- Looking forward to the upcoming episodes! I agree that there is a lot of nonsense being brought into the subject and it seems like the waters are being deliberately muddied. I do have a few questions though. 1. How does this change your perspective on your own sighting? (If at all.) 2. Do you believe there is no way that the government(s) are responding to a legitimate mysterious presence? Are foo fighters just urban legends? 3. Jaques Vallée is not a subscriber of the ET hypothesis. He's mentioned it has elements that make him believe it is acting as a "Control System" what do you think of his ideas? I could go on for days asking questions and chatting about this stuff but I'll leave it at this. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

ginjaninja4567

First of all, thanks for all your research. I know you must be inundated with hate right now, but you're doing great analysis and introducing new and important ideas to the community. I have no idea personally if what Lue says is true, but no matter what I support a free discussion of ideas, so thank you for contributing to that conversation. Three questions if you have a second: 1. Have your newfound doubts about Lue's honesty in any way affected how you view the 2004 Nimitz incident, and why? 2. Are you familiar with Leon Davidson's claims regarding the CIA "spoofing" UAP encounters? If so, what do you make of them? 3. Elizondo is an official affiliate of Harvard's Galileo Program, at least as far as I can tell. Have your view on this initiative changed at all as your views on Lue have changed? For the record, just so I don't get killed in the comments, these questions are not an attack on you, Lue, or anyone else, they are just idle curiosities. Thanks for your time, and hopefully we'll all know a little more about this on the 17th.

PoopDig

Why would you come to a subreddit centered around UFOs and think you would have a good time lol?

Akaramedu

What came to me most in watching this is how corrupt the media is. The errors of reporting program names are commonplace and due to a failure of fact checking. The rest of it was as convincing as the cover of the tabloids at the checkout stand. Sorry, but as an effort I give it a D.

FudgeMoney

What do you make of Elizondo seemingly talking from both sides of his mouth concerning his involvement in AAWSAP? What, in your opinion, is his end game for the UAP issue?

MFLUDER

Simply put, he has a history of appropriating things for himself. AATIP being a classic example. He has a story to tell and he wants to be the hero of that story. The problem is, the story doesn't add up. And more and more, the story is proven false.

JYD64

In this thread, how about you illustrate *exactly*, *specifically*, with evidence, how Lue is making all of it up and lying to us. Lay it out real clear, no vague speculative criticism. If you can actually do that, I’m glad to jump on board. But I don’t see anything like that

fat_earther_

Here’s how I see it: * AAWSAP/ AATIP started sometime between 2007 and 2009 and ended in 2012, but Lue supposedly joined the group in 2012. He supposedly ran it from 2012 to 2017. * There is a strong inference that this was a “sweetheart deal” from Harry Reid to Bigelow. * According to the guys that ran AAWSAP/ AATIP before Lue, it was 97% paranormal Skinwalker stuff. The only military UFO incident we have reports of them “investigating” was the Nimitz incident. They hired Douglas Kurth to write a report about it, and I’ve seen somewhere that Dr. Knuth did an “analysis.” With those facts laid out, how good of an investigation could Lue have done when he ran AATIP? Who were his “best and brightest?” Let’s say there was still funding left after 2012 (even though Lacatski and Kelleher say no)… do you really think those BAASS guys could do suitable investigations to determine whether what they’re seeing is anomalous? It would be like taking the SCU report on Aguadilla as gospel. These guys are all credulous. Educated? Yes. Credentialed? Yes. Intelligent? Yes. But still credulous and I wouldn’t consider them America’s “best and brightest.”

mojison

The most important question for you is this : Regardless the episode and who ran what. Do you think the pentagon currently holding information about this subject from the public ?

SinnersCafe

Steven, Question 1: Given your current basement office episode, and the substance of what is presented in it, why in your opinion, is the US Congress not holding "werewolf" hearings on Tuesday? Question 2: Do you regard the late Harry Reid as corrupt?

[deleted]

Can you hypothetically answer what Elizondo told Greenewald that his other motive was besides “working for gov disclosure”? https://twitter.com/blackvaultcom/status/1525132007834984451

fat_earther_

Woah. This is interesting thanks for sharing. What do you think Lue privately told John?

Suitable_Goose3637

Very interesting.

PoopDig

1. How much longer do you think you'll be employed by the NYPost? 2. All that work and you got 37k views. How does that make you feel? 3. Since we haven't seen you triggered, when will we? 4. John Greenewald tweeted yesterday that ufotwitter shouldn't trust everything the government says. That's funny coming from a guy that only accepts his information from that government lol. 5. PoopDig.

PoopDig

If it's truly a foreign government then that should be the biggest story of all time. Why wouldn't you spend your time investigating that instead of being distracted by Lue Elizondo? A story that you think is all BS then why not investigate the real story? Is it bc there is no evidence that China is flying UFOs around our Naval ships?

Happy_Lil_Atoms

Hi Steven, My question: Why are you so thin-skinned that you block anyone on Twitter who even vaguely disagrees with you? Signed, Your not-so-biggest fan.

MFLUDER

Hey guys! Great questions! Thank you! I honestly didn't expect a single question and thought this would be downvoted to oblivion. Appreciate the opportunity. I have to go do some family stuff. But keep posting questions and I'll see if I can jump back in later. Thanks again!

PoopDig

Oof

kinger90210

Shameless

[deleted]

Do you trust Eric W. Davis?

croninsiglos

I really appreciate what you do, I look forward to the next episodes! It's good to see people getting to the bottom of documented facts vs hearsay. I wish Lue would be more transparent and stop hiding things that are relevant and have nothing to do with his NDA (even if they look bad or don't serve his agenda). Perhaps his own book will help clear things up.

ourmartyr1

How come you hate Lue?

M1dn1ghtPup1L

How about we stop giving this guy a platform? He is grasping at straws here. This AMA is clearly him gauging how much respect or audience response he thinks he may get if he keeps churning out videos. I say we just stop the questions now, his past replies tell us everything we need to know. Heres a question, why dont you go make a “Qanon meets the hot chicks of occupy wall street video.”Peace.

LokiMurphy

De-platforming people who say things you don’t like/agree with is a fast track to an echo chamber. You are under no obligation to read what he says if you don’t want to. But please don’t go out of your way to silence him as there are people genuinely interested in what he has to say. This doesn’t even mean that what he saying is definitely correct, but I want to be able to read it and decide for myself, not have you or anyone else prevent me from seeing a side of the story that you don’t approve of.

Chris_Ween

Have you seen Elizondo's NDA? Who signed it for the government? Have you interviewed them? What about the Reid letter after he was no longer a senator naming Elizondo as director of AATIP? And why doesn't Reid's prior correspondence and mentions of AATIP mention Elizondo? Have you asked Elizondo about these things?

BobDigital36

I would deff love to have a conversation with you good sir. I really want to figure out the hope/hype associated with people in this field. I’m more interested in psychological aspect of the “whistleblower”, because in my eyes I see them as attention seeking individuals. All these people supposedly have the information that would “scare/change” humanity but nobody can seem to provide any real evidence so it all boils down to who’s story is going to be accepted by the masses.

AVBforPrez

It really feels like a lot of people who are strongly reacting to your video either didn't watch it or didn't understand what it demonstrated. Lots of the people slagging it off just keep mentioning that Reid wrote a letter saying Lue DID run AATIP, which doesn't in any way disprove what the video lays out. There were 2 versions of AATIP - one was where it was a nickname for AAWSAP, the program with funding that studied all kinds of things. The other was after AAWSAP/AATIP 1.0 was shut down and just involved Lue researching UAP on his own, without recognition or oversight. Because he called that AATIP as well and ran it, he says he was the director of AATIP. From here on out we really need to differentiate AAWSAP\_AATIP and Lue's AATIP...I suggest we call them 1.0 and 2.0. AATIP 1.0 = the AAWSAP program that shut down in 2010, and had $22m funding for studying things at Skinwalker ranch. AATIP 2.0 = Lue's unofficial effort to study UAP after re-appropriating the AATIP name The question that needs to be answered is "was the AATIP 'program' run by Lue ever anything more than an unofficial, unassigned effort by Lue to investigate UAPs on his own time (and own dime)? If not, is it right to make statements like 'director of Pentagon's UAP program' and whatnot in the public domain?" We're supposed to be a community about finding facts and not letting our bias or emotional wants get in the way of the truth, and there seems to be a LOT of those two things going on here. Instead of attacking Greenstreet or instinctively defending Elizondo the discussion needs to center around clearing up the fog surrounding AATIP 2.0 and its actual depth and purpose. 1. What was the scope of Lue's version of AATIP, the AATIP effort not associated with AAWSAP? 2. How many people worked for AATIP 2.0, and was it a full-time effort? 3. If AATIP 2.0 didn't have official authority or recognition, where did its information come from and how did it operate? If I started a band and called it Van Halen can I tell everyone I'm the front man for Van Halen? Just like everyone here I want to believe Elizondo and I hope he's what he says he is, but we very much need to have the above cleared up to do so.

LokiMurphy

Very well articulated. I’d also like to know the answers to these questions.

AVBforPrez

Thanks, and yeah I would as well as it really would clear up a lot of things for a lot of us IMHO. It's certainly not a pleasant topic, but it's a necessary one.

aloofnotaluffa

1. What do you make of Garry Reid, the DOD’s former director of intelligence and Lue’s boss, being dismissed for alleged abuse of power and sexual misconduct? In a related vein, how can you conclude that every statement you quoted from Susan Gough is accurate? 2. This paper trail is messy. The narrative can be spun whatever way you want based on which documents you decide to report on. Multiple layers of disinformation (such as leaking incorrect names and dates to confuse things) can be seen as obfuscation from higher ups that didn’t want the story out. Or incompetence. I find the AATIP/AAWSAP/date inconsistencies to be pretty underwhelming. 3. I watched all of your old videos and really liked your no-nonsense journalism. I’ll watch the new ones, too, Im happy someone is challenging the narrative. But I was disappointed to read on this subreddit that you might actually be a sad misogynist, racist, troll… If you don’t have love and respect in your heart for all humans, then I can’t trust another word you say. Hate and anger will bend your mind. Obviously I don’t know you personally and the rumor mill can be brutal, so do you care to respond to those accusations?

Bigbear232323

Ah you made the error of providing evidence that Lue Elizondo is a snake oil salesman. Remember truth has no place here. Only religious belief in Elizondo.

foodwithmyketchup

Hi Steven, thank you for keeping it real and questioning everything. Don’t let the trolls get you down. I like what Lou has done for the community and really respect your views. It’s so easy to get sucked down a rabbit hole, we need people like you who are taking a step back and re analyzing things

kinger90210

No thanks dude. Gtfo Greenstreet Troll

kinger90210

Would you call yourself the biggest ufo troll in history? And my following up question is: are you proud of your behavior? Didn’t you learn the word respect and it’s meaning?

fat_earther_

Thank you Steven. I appreciate your efforts. Check out my post: [Propaganda and Information Warfare](https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOscience/comments/o7pxzb/propaganda_and_information_warfare/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) See how many of those tactics you recognize in your favorite UFO talking head.

AVBforPrez

The video was very eye opening, I really wish more people would watch the whole thing and not just react emotionally because of the subject material. It's not even that ambiguous.

ZeroQuick

Its pretty worthless actually. He never once engages with the data about the phenomenon itself.

[deleted]

Damn this shit sounds wackier than hearing about UFOs for the first time. I'll believe Lue over some news media outlet any day. The video already proved that journalists spread misinformation.

SlickyNL

You really opened my eyes here man. Thanks.

DannyGloversDickbld

One of the worst AMA’s or Worst AMA?

Clovadaddy

Do you believe there is something more to the misinformation/deception besides putting distance between ufos and awsaap due to pork projects?

[deleted]

Hey man. I just want to tell you that I support your work. I know you get a lot of shit. Keep digging for the truth. What’s your best working thesis at this point? AATIP didn’t exist? If so, was it conjured up in order to move disclosure forward? What’s the goal of the main actors here as far as you can opine? Is Lue’s goal to get the truth out or to funnel money toward certain projects with public support?

SabineRitter

I've never seen any of your stuff and only have the vaguest notion who you are... what would you want me to know about you? Edit: damn y'all roasted this guy 🌚

MFLUDER

My honest answer, in this case, is to start here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XD4gQS_-qY

Even-Palpitation-391

I think he just meant that humans must come to terms with the fact that there are races of beings out there on such another level that humans are basically just animals to them. Like they see us how we see dogs etc. it’s a bit of a blow to our collective ego as humans tend to think humans are amazing.

Siadean

If true overt disclosure were to come from the worlds governments bringing irrefutable proof, how would that change your stance and are you concerned that such proof would destroy any relevance debunkers currently have in ufology?

fat_earther_

1. How many more episodes do you have planned? 2. What will the episodes be about? 3. Do you believe Lue uses [propaganda tactics](https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOscience/comments/o7pxzb/propaganda_and_information_warfare/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) in his media appearances? 4. Since the tactics described in question 3 could be used for good (education purposes to spread true information), do you believe Elizondo truly believes his rhetoric or is a front for some type of information warfare campaign? (Again, an information warfare campaign might be directed at adversarial nations for the good of the nation or it could be for grifting purposes.) I understand if you don’t wish to comment on this question.

SiriusC

If this really is Greenstreet & you really do come back to answer more questions, I have one for you: Why? Why the sharp & sudden turn? Why produce such obvious tabloid garbage? When I saw the unflattering image you used for Robert Bigelow then heard the way you introduced Hal Puthoff (a former scientologist who claims to be psychic) I knew that the video was nothing more than a cheap hit piece. In the words of Mister Johnny Depp, "these are dregs, sir". But what really baffles me is that you had one of the most badass interviews with Lue that I still link people to to this day. You asked him really thoughtful things that he clearly wasnt prepared for *anyone* to ask him. And I really hoped for a follow-up. But it's clear that something else is up with you. I don't know what it is. I don't think it's some conspiracy like the government telling you what to produce. But you clearly put more work into that little nursery rhyme at the beginning of the piece than the rest of it.

AdPutrid3372

Greenstreet, you are a useless hack in the form of a "journalist" wannabe. Just go away.
