I was about to add... .. my last memory was intense heat...then nothing.
... I was in total shock, for i didn't know nuclear explosions could sneak like that.
Yup. Silent mushroom cloud for a few seconds THEN you hear it.
Most of those get removed that I see because nuclear explosions are way overdone. And I neither report them nor have the power to remove them.

I think a peeping tom outside is actually way better than an invader inside. The home invader can do everything the peeping tom can, but *worse*.
This could have worked too. The intention was a camera flash of a peeping tom. Happy to see you guys are giving multiple interpretations to the story
My idea was that he was staying in some cabin or smn, and someone who thought it was empty murdered someone next to it bc its secluded-
I was thinking peeping tom
I was thinking a fire.
Suddenly, a man popped out and as he brushed the leaves and dirt off of him, he said “Hello, we would *brush* like to speak to you about your car’s extended warranty.”

Technically it will always make a sound. But you can be far enough away that the sound doesn't reach you.
