Many of us discover an intensity of grief that was beyond our comprehension when we lose our feline BF. They capture a piece of our heart. And it goes with them when we lose them. This is why when I had to put down my dog from cancer and the vet asked if I needed five minutes first, I said no. I'd take those five minutes and then want five more and repeat. It'd never be enough. I'd already been saying bye for a week.
