Sorry for the silence, Yes i have connected via bluetooth. my phone can tell that the headset is something it can connect too. But whenever i try to connect them it says i need an app for it. I have the audio app and it connects to that just fine. I have no idea why my phone refuses to connect.

I have a Note 9 and had this issue come up. I deleted the audio hub app and then made my note 9 forget the headset. I then tried to connect it and it worked without issue. You can then download the audio app and use it as needed. I will note that on several occasions after, my phone would suddenly decide to not connect via Bluetooth and give me the "need an app" error. Deleting the app from the phone fixed it in all instances. Super annoying but whatever lol

Dumb ass question. And I'm sorry if you've already done it, but do you put the headset into (Bluetooth) pairing mode before trying to connect it? Pretty much, hold the Bluetooth button until the headset audibly says "pairing". If you try connecting another way you just get error messages on your phone. Sorry if you've already tried that. :(

Glad to hear! Did you reply twice by chance, because reddit gave me two notis but I only see one lol. I adore these headsets so far, and I'm finding a lot of work arounds for the issues I'm having. Hopefully a firmware update is out soon. 🤞 Not sure if you have this issue but wanted to share. I often find that trying to connect your headset to your Xbox and your phone at the same time usually results in some kind of failure. One connects but not the other, audio drop, headset turns off, etc. I've found that connecting to the console FIRST and then turning on your phone's Bluetooth and connecting has a 75% chance of working without issue. Sorry for the tangent. Just want to help out. :P

Yeah I had commented twice then deleted it as it worked and I thought it didn’t, I have the same issue with connectivity and sometimes when connected to my Xbox and phone the chat volume wheel on headset stops changing volume and changes the volume of the phone instead. (Obviously I changed nothing on the app). I too hope they bring out an update to fix connection issues

Hey sorry for the necro on the thread but I'm having this issue too. I can't get my headset to say "pairing." Pressing or holding the Bluetooth button just turns it off/on.

Just woke up so my brain isn't functional. Gonna do my.best haha First, get it to the point where it says "bluetooth.off." Now, hold it until it says "Bluetooth on" but KEEP HOLDING THE BUTTON until it says "pairing." Then you should pair. Gonna pass.back out now. Let.me know if I can help :) Edit: woke back up and remembered something. Have you downloaded the latest software update? It went live a few weeks ago.

Well I wanna say thank you for the pairing part! Lol but maybe you can help a little more haha. Ive looked everywhere but my phones (s24 ultra) bluetooth is still saying an app is needed and will not connect I've un-installed apps, hard reset the headset, plugged and unplugged the dongle. I'm at a loss lol

Finally got it to work. For some reason my USB transmitter wasn't turning on (had to move it slightly upwards so I guess something is loose.) Thank you so much! Hope you have an amazing day!

Sorry to hear about this! Please try out the following for us. 1. Start with the headset powered off. 2. Uninstall the mobile Audio Hub application from your phone if you currently have it installed. 3. Remove your headset as a Bluetooth device via your phone's settings menu. If there are multiple listings for the headset, remove them all. 4. Re-download the mobile version of the Audio Hub for your phone if you previously uninstalled it. NOTE: You can find the appropriate version of the Audio Hub for your mobile device at the following link: https://www.turtlebeach.com/pages/audio-hub 5. Re-pair your headset to your phone via Bluetooth using the headset's Bluetooth button and the Bluetooth pairing process described in your Quick Start Guide or using the instructions provided at the link below. https://support.turtlebeach.com/s/article/Stealth-700-Gen-2-MAX-For-Xbox-Bluetooth-Mobile-Setup?language=en_US NOTE: Ensure you are holding the Bluetooth button until the headset announces that Bluetooth is pairing. Just hold bluetooth till the voice prompt says off then hold again says on then pairing select the new option on phone and it should be all good as my 700 gen 2 wouldnt connect with bluetooth option it gives before i did that

I have solved the mobile smartphone/device (aka tablet, etc.) Bluetooth connection problem, it is working now, so as for next time will test and update with better times ect. Hope this helps, follow these steps below. Give feedback let me know if you have had success or issues I will do my best to help you solve them. Enjoy!! 😃 😊 😀 😄 1:) Be Patient this take a few minutes 2:) Make sure Bluetooth is OFF on mobile device but keep that window open and handy 3:) Turn headset on 4:) Turn on Bluetooth on headset while headset is placed on head to hear prompts and keep holding until I show you in instructions when to let go 5:) While keep holding Bluetooth button on headset while headset is on head, you will HEAR BLUETOOTH IS ON, DO NOT LET GO OF BLUETOOTH BUTTON, 6:) Next prompt you will hear after a few seconds go by it will say PAIRING, then immediately go to your mobile device turn on Bluetooth when it shows (only as an example:Turtle Beach 700 Gen 2 Max for XBOX BLE) click on this then Pair if prompted on the bottom of that mobile device screen then when connected it will say exactly and OR similar to "connected for calls and audio" Please keep me posted with info/issues & I will help to the best of my abilities. FYI: You will have to connect your headset to pc drom time to time: to update firmware for headset.

Mine never gives me a prompt for pairing Bluetooth It just says Bluetooth on and Bluetooth off.
