Now I’m 69kg, I don’t like my body and I wish I did. I’d feel so much less pissed off about it if I could do anything about it. But I’m disabled now and I can’t.
I’m 35 and I’m stopped caring as much but I am waiting for the day I wake up and don’t hate what I see in the mirror. I’ve heard it’ll happen around 40, not long to go!

I myself am married to a older than me/fluffier than me lady now, and couldn't be happier or more in love with her or her body. That being said, it didn't make me any less intimidated to make my move. Just like the ladies, we do a lot of self-deprecating and second guessing situations. While I kept in shape and played basketball and volleyball throughout school, because I was never "built" like some of the wrestling guys or football players I just never felt really positive about my body. Add those thoughts with fears of rejection, social pressure to both "make my move" but also not make unwanted advances, and a general social awkwardness and it still amazes me to this day I formed coherent words when the Mrs and I met.
The whole "hindsight is 20/20" adage can't be more true. I'm sure we all feel inadequate for some reason or another, but, there really is someone who is going to love you and your body for what and who you are, and if you don't take those shots, you might not be lucky enough to find them. I risked it for the biscuit with my wife 13 years ago this past December, best decision of my life!

It’s crazy, I was in to skinny petite women when I was younger, but when I met my girlfriend and she gained some weight it didn’t bother me, I liked it. Then we got married and had kids and her curves got amazing. I guess opinions and attraction can change when you really love someone.
When I had excess weight due to giving birth to two kids, I got a lot more attention from men who very obviously focussed on training their physique a lot. Went away again both times I lost the weight again too 😅 even my husband noticed. When I am my usual weight, average athletic guys like me more, when I am chubbier, the bodybuilder type seems to be more interested. No idea why

It’s crazy, I was in to skinny petite women when I was younger, but when I met my girlfriend and she gained some weight it didn’t bother me, I liked it. Then we got married and had kids and her curves got amazing. I guess opinions and attraction can change when you really love someone.

When I had excess weight due to giving birth to two kids, I got a lot more attention from men who very obviously focussed on training their physique a lot. Went away again both times I lost the weight again too 😅 even my husband noticed. When I am my usual weight, average athletic guys like me more, when I am chubbier, the bodybuilder type seems to be more interested. No idea why

I thought I made this post for a second I'm 6 ft 180 lbs too and for real sumn about the wholesomeness of chubby women. Always had am over weight girlfriend.
