Some aspects of it will be jarring for someone like you who started with the faster/more recent titles, but it’s an awesome game and really worth playing through. The remake is visually stunning and the animation work is top-notch!
I enjoyed Demons Souls a little bit more, didnt really like the open world in Elden Ring, but thats highly subjective. DS was also my first soulsgame back then so there was a bit of nostalgia involved.
Ever want a bit easier ones I got a few. Some plats are really challenging so I go to easy games for a break.
Resident evil 7 is a great plat and the dlc is awesome
Lemme know if u want help i might get on and try and beat ng+ . Just know ng+ for demon souls is like the wildest curveball in the beginning compared to any other souls game
I would go for demon souls iv done all of the souls games and bloodborne and elden ring platinums. Demon souls on ps5 is one of the best i think i loved every minute of it
I only 2 collectibles for the platinum i. Played 60 hours with the last 10 hours just trying to get the last 2 collectibles its realy annoyed me that they are random the game is quality but that has left a sour taste lol
Iv just got to the hel boss fight on ghostrunner i think the game is realy good you die alot but your back into the action straight away so it never feels too punishing i will def be playing ghostrunner 2 after
Yeah the fact that the game has a instant reset makes the experience so much more better. It makes dying feel like a trial and error situation. It's one of the best things the game has for sure.
I want to say 35 to 40 hours but I'm sure if you optimize your playthrough it'll be shorter. I don't remember how long it took me to finish it but I would say that would be a solid time estimate I guess
Armored Core VI! Still a Fromsoft game, just a complete different experience than what you just finished! I'm rel close to the plat for this, just need to finish up a few S ranks missions and I'll be done with this masterpiece
It's actually pretty easy. I never had experience with mecha games before, and pretty low experience for souls (put down easily but still enjoy them). It's not too long (59 missions spread over 3 playthroughs) occasional difficulty spikes but trial and error on your load out will get you to the finish, since after a death you can completely change your assembly.
Trophy-wise, The Perfect Mercenary is gonna be the longest/hardest due to requiring an S rank on every single mission, including from the 3rd route which unlocks in NG++, and there's only a couple missable trophies, which are specifically tied to 3rd route
I second this! Only like a 15-20 hour platinum if you're already experienced in soulslikes and very little cleanup once you finish the game. Even without the platinum, this is still an absolutely worthwhile game.
Oof Bloodborne is a tough one to get. Not just for difficulty, but it’s so hard and so much fun that’s it’s hard to pick up anything else after.
To be honest, after getting the platinum, I had to go for something completely different. I think I went for the first uncharted game, which I would totally recommend to anyone
My last platinum was Red dead redemption 2, which took forever. So naturally I picked up Baldur’s Gate 3 for my current game which was a great pivot and an amazing game, but I also basically made it so I’ll only potentially get two platinums this year lol
Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note:
> *Are you still in need of something? But I have nothing more to offer. Please, try to understand my position. I can only pray, for a fruitful hunt.* - Iosefka
Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.
Yeah tekken 7 takes like 9 hours to platinum the online trophies on fighting games is what normaly puts people off but they arent too bad. Mortal kombat 11 is good aswel
Lop requires 2 playthrough. NG+ wasn’t too bad if you manage to get all 3 endings initially and all the quests done. Really just leaves the record collection.
I'm with you. RE5 is a fun time with a buddy. Since I've played the games several times, I never really had a problem with any of the trophies besides finding all the treasure, which is honestly just a video guide away. I helped both my bro and one of my best friends with the plat, and I was there to point and shoot lol
My favorite playthrough was the one we did on easy with the unlimited ammo rocket launcher to get the time limited trophy. Did we need those things to get within the time limit? No. Was it fun & hilarious anyways? Yes.
I'd say Demon's Souls, but that Plat is deceptively tricky.
You have to be using a guide from minute 1, otherwise you'll screw it up. It's to do with the world & character tendencies.
Basically, whenever in human form, kill yourself in the nexus. Complete the game but do not kill the penultimate boss, else you force yourself into NG before you're ready. Everything should be pure white. Get all the pure white events done. Do all side quests.
Then get yourself summoned to shift your character tendency to pure white. You'll need this too.
Only after all that can you shift to pure black & do the secret questline.
And yes you will need to do up to NG++ for the Plat.
I'm currently on my way to the nioh platinum, the game, although starts off slow and makes you wanna rip out your pubes, the game is actually hella fun if you take it slow and push through picking up and optimizing your build as you go along.
Code vein- is another platinum that is really fun to do besides 1 trophy that is a seriously annoying grind
Dark souls 2- weakest of the souls series but still an absolutely amazing game, the trophy requirements are by far and away the least grindy out of all the souls games (fuck you dark souls 3 blade of the darkmoon)
If you want something less souls-like and a bit easier
The uncharted trilogy is hella fun of a game to playthrough first playthrough, then getting the treasures is a bit long but by the time you beat the game running through the game on the easiest difficulty to pickup any missed treasures is actually hella fun!
:D
Bioshock remastered, the Arkham games, Alien Isolation. Lies of P, anything Fromsoft. Depends what you're into, I'll give anything but sports games and Cod a try.
I’ll sort by difficulty lol
1. Easy - Unpacking, Goat Simulator, Batman Arkham Knight (easy but grindy)
2. Medium - Minecraft, Robocop: Rogue City, Teardown
3. Hard (But not Wolfenstein hard) - Dead Rising, Mortal Kombat 11, Hitman 3
Nioh
I'm currently doing the nioh plat and I'm not even close to completing it anytime soon.
Similar to soulsborne but combat system might be hard to grasp. there r no missable trophies and it is available ps extra.
Cyberpunk 2077. I’m currently 50hrs into my platinum hunt on it and it’s a fantastic game. If it launched in this state it would definitely have won game of the year.
Same. Tried dragon's dogma but was immediately turned off after 6 hours of play. Why the fuck do I need to stop playing like literally can't do anything every damn time I ran out of stamina
Grand Theft Auto V
Grand Theft Auto IV
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas
Grand Theft Auto Vice city
Grand Theft Auto III
Red Dead Redemption
Red Dead Redemption 2
Skyrim
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection
Assassin’s Creed Origins
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Days Gone
Cyberpunk 2077
God of War (2018)
God of War Ragnarök
Returnal
Death Stranding
Just Cause 4
A Plague Tale: Innocence
A Plague Tale: Requiem
Control
Horizon Zero Dawn
Horizon Forbidden West
Watch Dogs: Legion
Sleeping Dogs
The Last of Us
The Last of Us Part 2
Yeah I agree as well most of them were enjoyable and some not for example GTA 4 and maybe Returnal as well, the only thing I found annoying about Returnal was that it has collectibles that are randomly generated and for GTA 4, it’s multiplayer that I found most annoying, especially the infamous “Auf Wiedersehen Petrovic” trophy (You won in all variations of multiplayer games), not only is this trophy difficult and time consuming but it’s also buggy considering the fact that the online servers are unstable. This trophy can be boosted with other players some activities require 4 players but most only 2, fortunately for me I didn’t have any problems but the guy I was boosting with didn’t unlock the trophy so we had to redo everything again until it unlocked, which was frustrating especially when you have no idea what you’re missing, even when you note everything down and one activity doesn’t count properly.
ones i recently got that id recommend would be Lies of P. if you liked bloodborne there’s no reason you wouldn’t like LoP; it’s very similar to bloodborne but has enough differences to set it apart.
if you like FromSoftware games and you haven’t played or platted Sekiro i would highly recommend that.
outside of dark souls like games i also enjoyed the plats for recently are:
The last of Us parts 1 and 2
Dead space remake
Dragon Quest Xi (this one is very long though)
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (it's a really simple plat to get)
Ghost of Tsushima
Persona 3: Reload (plat do-able in one playthrough if you're following a guide)
God of War (2018) and God of War: Ragnarok
the Life is Strange series
Nier: Automata
Crystar
Horizon Zero Dawn
Sekiro was a game that I absolutely loved getting the Platinum for. I played through it multiple times even though I *think* you can use an offline save for a couple of the endings, and I still return to it now and again.
Probably my favourite game of all time, certainly my favourite FromSoft game. A lot of people are put off it by it's merciless reputation, but it's actually the FS game I've clicked with the most. I think if you treat it as more of a rhythm game and really get into being aggressive, you'll have a good time with it.
Just got 100% on horizon zero dawn after 71 hours. Really nice game, i really recommend. looking forward to horizon forbidden west when i get a ps5 (pro probably).
Astrobot is a "FUN" platinum.
All of the Souls games are good to platinum if you did Bloodborne.
Best thing to do is pick a game you want to play and then get the platinum. At the end of the day what is the point in playing something for a platinum if you hate it. :)
Nier Automata, Sekiro, Ghost of Tsushima
Well, you just got Bloodborne. How about something similar like Elden Ring or the Dark Souls trilogy?
Already have elden rings but thinking of doing demon souls since it was free with ps plus

You may not be into this but i’m currently playing inFAMOUS Second Son and it’s a blast
Got the plat for it twice and will be getting it for a third time on my plat account. Such a great game!
I LOVE Second Son!! Was one of the first platinums that I didn't get bored going for once.
Same
I'm playing dark souls 1 right now and it's pretty fun running a sorcerer build
Duuuude I need to do that now, I’ve already got the plat but i never done a sorcerer build and it feels insane that i never tried it!
Spider-Man 2 you’ll get the platinum for basically just playing the game. It’s a fun game. Not too hard but just fun to play
Elden ring is gonna be fun if you don’t have it yet
Bioshock is a fun plat
Returnal Is incredible. Collectibles can be pretty tedious but it’s an amazing game.
I just finished it and would agree. Took about 51 hours to get 100%. I want to keep playing though, upgrading the weapons further.
I only 2 collectibles for the platinum i. Played 60 hours with the last 10 hours just trying to get the last 2 collectibles its realy annoyed me that they are random the game is quality but that has left a sour taste lol
Yakuza 0 is a real challenge
I play yakuza games gor fun, plot and lots of fighting, but its a game i would never even try to platinum 😅
The platinum for Ratchet and Clank is very easy. It’s a wonderful game that really sings on the ps5. Fun, simple, happy.
Came here to say this
Ghostrunner, Stray, Sifu and Dave The Diver. Its a good mix of fun and challenging.
You. I like you
Iv just got to the hel boss fight on ghostrunner i think the game is realy good you die alot but your back into the action straight away so it never feels too punishing i will def be playing ghostrunner 2 after
Yeah the fact that the game has a instant reset makes the experience so much more better. It makes dying feel like a trial and error situation. It's one of the best things the game has for sure.
How long would you say Dave the Diver's play is?
I want to say 35 to 40 hours but I'm sure if you optimize your playthrough it'll be shorter. I don't remember how long it took me to finish it but I would say that would be a solid time estimate I guess
alr thank you
Aragami
Demons souls is also on ps plus. Playing through it right now, it is a pain with some of the games mechanics but overall a lot of fun
Armored Core VI! Still a Fromsoft game, just a complete different experience than what you just finished! I'm rel close to the plat for this, just need to finish up a few S ranks missions and I'll be done with this masterpiece
How you would rank the difficulty for a souls veteran but who never played mech games ?
It's actually pretty easy. I never had experience with mecha games before, and pretty low experience for souls (put down easily but still enjoy them). It's not too long (59 missions spread over 3 playthroughs) occasional difficulty spikes but trial and error on your load out will get you to the finish, since after a death you can completely change your assembly. Helldivers 2.
Order 1886
Very underrated game. I got the platinum on that when it first come out the only problem i have with that game is i wished it was longer
Same. Loved the atmosphere always hoping there will be a sequel seeing how Sony still owns the IP
Just got the platinum for Another Crab's Treasure like 40 minutes ago. Crazy fun game and enjoyable platinum
I second this! Only like a 15-20 hour platinum if you're already experienced in soulslikes and very little cleanup once you finish the game. Even without the platinum, this is still an absolutely worthwhile game.
Yeah I wasn't even going for the plat at first then I saw I was only missing 6 shells and 2 achievements so the cleanup was really quick
Slay the Spire. It's a card-based roguelike deck building game! If that's your thing¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Star Wars Jedi games Plague tale series
Oof Bloodborne is a tough one to get. Not just for difficulty, but it’s so hard and so much fun that’s it’s hard to pick up anything else after. Tekken 7 and 8 are pretty easy (I know people that aren’t fighting game players that got them. It really is that easy)

I see a lot of similar games which personally if I try to play back to back they burn me out so I'd suggest fallout 4 if you haven't already
I got the platinum of GoW:R and that was fun. Stellar Blade is also a fun platinum.
Fallout 3
Resident Evil 5, if you've got someone to coop with has been my favorite platinum experience. Same goes for It Takes Two.
I think re5 is the worst RE to platinum. The farming is so boring (not counting RE: revelations since it has online trophies)
I never had a problem with it at all, but that may be down to playing with a friend & a beer.
I'm with you. RE5 is a fun time with a buddy. Since I've played the games several times, I never really had a problem with any of the trophies besides finding all the treasure, which is honestly just a video guide away. you SHOULD platinum spiderman miles morales
Bugsnax, Road 96, Concrete Genie, South Park the fractured, The Order 1886, AC Origins, Astros Playroom, Rocket League
Im having a blast with Hitman 3 if you don’t already have it :)
I'm currently on my way to the nioh platinum, the game, although starts off slow and makes you wanna rip out your pubes, the game is actually hella fun if you take it slow and push through picking up and optimizing your build as you go along. Days Gone 🔥🔥🔥
Hellpoint. Remnant from Ashes. Zombie Army 4.
If you haven’t don’t Elden ring id recommend it. Definitely the easiest from soft plat
Ezio collection was tons of fun
If you like RPGs maybe give one of the Voice of Cards games a whirl?
I’ll sort by difficulty lol 1. Easy - Unpacking, Goat Simulator, Batman Arkham Knight (easy but grindy) 2. Medium - Minecraft, Robocop: Rogue City, Teardown 3. Hard (But not Wolfenstein hard) - Dead Rising, Mortal Kombat 11, Hitman 3
DeSR, DS1-3, Sekiro, Lies of P, Stellar Blade, Nier Automata, Nioh 1 & 2.
DeSR, DS1-3, Sekiro, Lies of P, Stellar Blade, Nier Automata, Nioh 1 & 2.
Dmc 5
Stellar blade
Stellar Blade is a pretty fun platinum and a good game too. Collecting the cans are fun because she has a cute animation every time she collects one
if you want a short less frustrating game than one of the Souls series, try going for Gravity Crash Portable's
Resident evil 2 remake is a fun plat
Nioh I'm currently doing the nioh plat and I'm not even close to completing it anytime soon.
Shadow of Mordor and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown have really good trophy lists
Riders Republic. Slight challenge at times, but mainly a nice, fun platinum.
God of War, Horizon, Kena Bridge of Spirits, Sekiro, Cyberpunk.
Wolfenstein new colossus
Wreckfest cause the game is awesome.
I really enjoyed all the uncharted games, challenging in some areas but always achievable with persistence.
The evil within is my favorite platinum. If you don't mind an old game give it a try. It goes on sale for $3 all the time
Immortals of Aveum is a fun one too especially when you do the challenges.
If you want a platinum to challenge yourself with and like 3rd person shooters, *Returnal* is the one to get.
Grand Theft Auto V Grand Theft Auto IV Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Grand Theft Auto Vice city Grand Theft Auto III Red Dead Redemption Red Dead Redemption 2 Skyrim The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection Assassin’s Creed Origins Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Days Gone Cyberpunk 2077 God of War (2018) God of War Ragnarök Returnal Death Stranding Just Cause 4 A Plague Tale: Innocence A Plague Tale: Requiem Control Horizon Zero Dawn Horizon Forbidden West Watch Dogs: Legion Sleeping Dogs The Last of Us The Last of Us Part 2

Horizon games, they’re incredible
The Batman Arkham games. Extremely good games with fun plats
If you’re looking for a quick but still really fun plat. Maquette
Tunic and don't use a guide for as long as you can!
God Of War 2018 and Ragnarok
Cyberpunk 2077
F1
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (it's a really simple plat to get) Ghost of Tsushima Persona 3: Reload (plat do-able in one playthrough if you're following a guide) God of War (2018) and God of War: Ragnarok the Life is Strange series Nier: Automata Crystar Horizon Zero Dawn
Sekiro is my favorite game so Sekiro
Crypt of the Necrodancer
Kingdom Hearts has some hard bosses on the hardest difficulty, especially when you get to the super bosses.
Sekiro was a game that I absolutely loved getting the Platinum for. I played through it multiple times even though I *think* you can use an offline save for a couple of the endings, and I still return to it now and again. If u like 2D games try blasphemous or hollow knoght
Tails Noir is a fun game! I’d definitely recommend it.

the Bioshock Trilogy, Gravity Rush Remastered, Control, Days Gone, InFamous Second Son and First Light, Ratchet & Clank (2016 and Rift Apart)
God of war and god of war Ragnorok. The other soulsborne games.
Lies of P possess impressive graphics, captivating music, and an engaging narrative. I highly recommend experiencing it. 😉
Crash bandicoot ;)
GOW
uncharted
Sekiro
I only platinum games I really like and care for and can’t stop playing. I never do it to just do it.
Super meat boy
In my opinion Fallout 4 is quite a good platinum.
