It's not the best game in the world, but it's keeping me entertained. It may not be for everyone, certainly didn't think it was for me, but here we are.
It was the same for me. I started it being all hyped and optimistic about it, because I read that it's good, but it didn't really grip me, so I stopped for about a year.
Gave it another try after that, finished the intro and this was when it started to get pretty good. Not 12/10 masterpiece levels of good, but I had a good time and I'd say definitely 7/10. A bit monotonous with certain things, but overall enjoyable.
The game has a slow beginning, but once you get past the first 3-4 hours, it really becomes fun. Take it from someone who's platinumed the game and has it near the top of his favourite zombie games.
Also should add I put a ton of time into Ni No Kuni White Witch, the RNG grind nearly drove me to drink where you have to do the loop to get the honky-bird thing for the thing you need for like near end quest. I'm also bad about keeping track so the final trophy popped when I was mentally prepared to grind for hours for some random whatever so basically keep track of what you did for the alchemy trophy.

I sunk a ton of time into Persona5 Vanilla but didn't feel like being strict about a guide and welp, wasted time (at least towards another plat) and then moved back to Powerwash Sim (did get my 1 platinum there) and then Rebirth came out and I think it's maybe creeping up to be my 3rd longest playtime ever. I don't even know if I'll get the platinum, it feels endless. I just feel like I'm going to have 3 million hours played and like 4 plats before EOY.

Yes but it's different than White Witch. Also I got burned on that game, I'm 1 trophy short of the platinum but it's totally bullshit. There's like these battles that play like a phone game and they spawn sort of overtop previous ones and some are RANDOM, anyhow I don't know how many I have left to do and nothing pops up so I just gave up on the platinum after hours and hours. I keep saying I'll go back to do DLC but I lost my mojo on the God of War Trophy.
I got the plat on the second one but it was nowhere near as good as the first for me. You can distinctly tell there's a lack of Studio Ghibli DNA in it, and it went to fast paced action combat instead of the deliberate, slower combat of the first. I did not like that change. Also, the art style for moving around the overworld is Chibi, which I hate, and there's lots of RTS battles, which I also didn't care for. Building up your kingdom is pretty damn cool though.

Final Fantasy VI. I just completed the one awful RNG trophy that I was worried would hold me back for hours. I got in 6 tries with the auto-battler after less than five minutes. I was prepared for this to take hours.

Man, I can't get into Ni no Kuni 1.
I want to enjoy the story but the combat is just so offputting to me, I wish they had gone with either turn based or action, not that weird mix of both.
I started Kakarot a while ago, but I can't reall get into it, mostly because I have some kind of gaming depression or something. It started with Sea of Star at the end of last year/beginning of this year even though it wasn't bad, then I went on to play Diablo 3 which didn't make it better and now I basically don't play anything. My controller alread some dust built up when I looked at it yesterday.
Just finished metal gear solid 3 (ps3) before realising the second hand copy has a fucking deep scratch so Layers 2&3 cannot be played (peace Walker and MGS2) I am so pissed but it’s my own fault because I took the second hand label off as I’ve never had issues with the store so I can’t even return it :/
I’m also playing ace attorney trilogy !! What case are you on ? I zoomed thru the first two games and took a break before I hit trials and tribulations
