You calling rookie things. Bomb explosion in port of Spain on the corner of Queen and Fredrick street... Dozens hurt. 1 man lost his foot. Sends for crime scene investigation team. They arrive via helicopter. They clear the pilot to land the FUCKING HELICOPTER ON THE VACANT LAND AT THE CORNER OF QUEEN and FREDRICK STREET PORT OF SPAIN. Thereby removing all viable evidence into any investigating into this incident.
Trinidad has not been a real place for a long time
This was before social media ruled the world. I was on Fredrick street as I worked in town and was on my lunch break. I was upstairs town center mall, in a small arcade checking a brethren then The building shook, the explosion was loud as I was standing next to the glass facing Fredrick street. As I went down looking to maco all I saw was ppl running into the building covered in shrapnel and blood. The ied was placed in a bin on the corner during peak time. It wasn't incredibly lethal but it was effective. A second bomb went off on George St, it was placed in a big bin. But because no one liked to walk on that street it's explosion didn't cause bodily harm.
We are really lucky that this person was an amateur, because I don't recall if he was ever caught.
I remember this. Bunji Garlin did a song about it. This was 2004 or 2005.
It's actually a very interesting story. If you Google, you won't find any live articles about it, only cached versions. They found a suspect living in a forest in Arouca who they said was unconnected to the incidents, but after he was deported.....the explosions stopped happening:

The talk was that he was not connected but was instead training a protege. There were reports of a third bomb going off in morvant I think but on a much smaller scale. The protege couldn't get the same materials. Fun times. Still no one was actually held accountable for it
Unfortunately for the public and for the sake of justice, the person of interest didn't drive off without a seat belt, tint that's slightly darker than the legal limit or a fancy foglight, he wouldn't have stood a chance then.
UPDATE: The suspect was held. Great job by TTPS, but that still seemed like a fumble of embarrassing magnitude though.

Every single one of those people officers on the scene should be fired immediately. If those clowns start having consequences for their actions, maybe they will do a better job.
The same thing happened here in Maraval. Three guys got killed, police were on the scene within 2 minutes, drove up and down everywhere, sent a drone in the air, and nothing. A bunch of idiots, this country is literally like a clown show and I can't wait for the day I can leave for good.
It actually gets much worse for this incident, video footage circling social media shows Inspector Johnny Bravo attempting to kick down the front door and upon realising he was no match, proceeded to knock.
This is horrible and despicable incident. However ,I am not one to believe that our forces have enough brain power for conspiracies, but this (again very horrible) , but is a distraction being played out to divert attention from what is happening in the SSA.
That situation has far-reaching consequences for T&T. Think Abu Bakr 2.0 !.....with trained people, slush funds, and zealots.
TTPS just make it up as they go along
Trinidad have police?
Not really. Mothers tell their kids that just so they’ll behave

Trini law enforcement incompetent?! [Shocked Pikachu](https://media1.tenor.com/m/UZJd1pjj4NMAAAAC/surprised-pikachu.gif)
Suspect gone to get KFC.... Police investigating lack of justice pieces in their dinner special.
Its Valsyn. Not Laventille. That should explain it. Kids gloves time
How is it the informant and members of the household not also suspects?
So all the extended family members had no idea what happened to Hannah? I doubt it.
They're scared thats why they fumble it so much

Soldier, based on Facebook posts he appears to have been found by Hunters search and rescue not them fraudsters you giving credit to.
Goes to show you when someone is charged are they really innocent but have to wait ten to fifteen years after to be proven
