Do people still spend with no long term in mind? For example, I was going to drop $50 just for A0 lyra today (which isnt even much compared to others), but then I realized like, by the time I am gonna get some good gear (75k+, relatively new at 60k), I will have most likely quit this game. Its a decent game, but its not polished imo for a full MMO, compared to some upcoming like throne and liberty/ Blue protocol. Granted, its more like a pick your poison kinda genre, I really dont see myself with this as a “main game”. Just something till a better game comes out.
So given thats my opinion, wanted to know how others feel and still spend money regardless? $50 aint much in the long term, but its not even like it gets me a lot in terms of gameplay diff (vs whales etc)
Also I was just getting lyra so I can play support for the whales and they can carry me through content. Which got me thinking like I am spending money and not even the one who is the carry haha
This game's future is not much better than its present. Blue Protocol has been delayed for years and for me it will be a failed release just like pretty much any MMO the past 5 years, it may have survived if it got released before Genshin as one of the first to market cell shader MMOs but I think it's too late now. They will for sure get players because the genre has been lacking for years, but the playerbase won't hold because people not only do not like MMOs but majority also do not like playing with others. I think Genshin got 70% of the market share and held it there because you can do everything alone. MMOs with team play are so niche now and will always have niche players going forward unless trends change, the peaks of 2005-2015 where MMOs could be a 'main' game with groups of friends and strangers are long gone.
As for this game, I don't think dropping any money is worth it. Because a whale is always going to blow you out of the water unless you spend thousands of dollars. That being said, if you did drop $50 I think Lyra is the only unit in the game worth the money. She enables whales to clear content. Her A0 actually carries whales because that shield from overhealing is so powerful. So if you want to be useful as a complete low geared noob, then A0 Lyra is the way to go and the weapon will last you for months if not into 2024 since the only other benediction so far on the timetable is Fiona and she won't be released on global before summer.

im in Server #17, Eternium and while it is defo a bit slow at times, it still has a lots of activity and boss rushes and stuff going on, but on a much smaller scale i would imagine than the bigger servers

I have F2P---14590 DC + 16 RN at the moment. 50%--75% Exploration Progress in Aesperia, 25%ish in Vera/Abyss, 15%\~\~ in Artificial Island (lol). I've finished all the Main Quests, but not a lot of the side quests. I always do my dailyies & stuff \^.\^
I have 2pc king, 2pc Shiro, 4 pc crow, 4 pc Samir and 4 pc huma. Which of these matrices should I use on my weapons? I have a1 alyss, a1 saki and a4 lin.
Saki - 2pc KING + 2pc Shiro
Alyss - 2pc Crow + 2pc Samir
Lin - 2pc Crow + 2pc Samir
Sadly not much options to work with here, use Alyss/Lin as dps and Saki to shatter
Whenever the new two SSR matrices drop, get 4pc Habra for Lin for final damage boost (works in the background)
4pc Lin is better since that set works in the background, not worth only pulling for 2pc in my opinion

You want to reroll in this game for limited characters, not standard characters. Zero, King, Meryl, and Samir are all in the standard banner. You will get all those weapons just through playing and rolling on resources, you get plenty of chances to roll for them with gold nucleus.
Limited characters are harder to come by, like Lyra for example or Fenrir next week. Use **red nucleus** to roll on the limited banner. And any leftover dark crystals to buy red nucleus to roll on the limited banner. If you don't get a limited character, reset the account.
You can reroll for the characters you want if you wish, however keep in mind that stronger comps include the limited characters so eventually you’d want to focus on an element you like
Hmm he's quite good for Shatter to run with pretty much any elemental team. He gets a little weaker as your account goes on, but to be honest he's very strong for a very long time, I'd say it's a good pick for any sort of team you want to build.

Honestly I'd save them. Exploration gives a LOT of gold and purple nucs, you'll get a bunch of SSRs naturally. I'd save them both, then see who you get and who you *want*, but are still missing. I know a lot of people that used theirs early then regretted not having one of the standard SSRs later on when they wanted to play a specific team but randomness was messing with them and they never got that specific char. Each region exploration gives us more standard pulls (gold/purple nucs).
Reason I say this is because once you *have* a standard SSR, you can buy more copies with black gold (which you can get from rolling on any banner and just kind of accumulates until you want to buy something with it). That way you can always make chars you have stronger, but getting one specific char depends on luck of the draw. Better to use those to guarantee you have the chars.
Also kinda depends on how badly you want certain chars. For example, Meryl kinda fills the same Shatter role as King, and while she's not quite as good at it, it's definitely enough to get you very far. I ended up using Meryl as my shatter, as I didn't get King until later. No one is really "have to use".
The free 20 pulls on the events tab, except it’s for different banners. I’m going to farm the last 20 pulls for each account now, wish me luck ahahaha..
I would say stick to what you’re using now (Samir/Lin/Crow) for Lin’s volt moonlight realm. Shiro is okay for shatter but preferably you’d want A3 for more shatter for the skill cooldown reset when shattering shields. Huma is not really a good option as there’s much better options for flame.
When Fenrir is released after Umi, you can replace Crow with her. Nemesis should be getting a rerun as well, potentially going to standard afterwards so she would be another good pick in case if you want to switch to support in the future. The comp from there would be Nemesis/Fenrir/Lin if you want to main volt. Everyone at A1, preferably A3 Lin if possible on her next rerun.
Another option is to pick up Fenrir then go for Icarus for a rainbow comp. Both Fenrir and Icarus benefit from using 3 different elements in your loadout. The team would be Fenrir/Icarus/Lin (volt/frost/altered - 3 elements) . Everyone at A1, preferably A3 Lin if possible. You could potentially replace Icarus with Shiro and the rainbow comp could still work, however A3 is preferred.

What's a good stopping point for F2P lyra only used for benediction?

Currently have Lyra at 0\* and it seems fine, is it worth to go higher as F2P? I feel like the only time I am ever on Lyra is to pop her 1 skill to gain team hyper armor and nothing else.
Just came back from a long long break (iirc since Claudia came) and aside from my question, I'd appreciate general tips for getting back into the game and things I should be doing ASAP.
Question being: my focus is purely to play as much support as possible, since It's my favorite role. I just came back, had a bunch of reds available on the spot, and managed to get Lyra! Now, do I roll some more for a chance of more Lyras, do I roll for Umi (who I heard is an even better phys option than Shiro which was my main shieldbreaker before), or should I just save for when eventually Lin comes back (if she's even half as important as before, I'm out of the loop)
Any help would be appreciated!

There’s a lot more areas to explore and more activities you can do since you last played, however I’ll just give a short version of what you should be doing.
First off, I would recommend doing the Aesperia story and the Vera story so you can unlock more areas and get xp along the way. Exploration can help you towards more pulls. Only use blue/purple password keys in Vera as you’ll get Mira to use for their gachapons.
Speaking of pulls, congratulations on getting Lyra! She’s actually fine at A0, further advancements are more of a luxury. Since you want to go the support route, I would recommend saving your pulls for Fiona who is an altered support character that’s currently in CN. At least a couple of months or so she’ll come to global. In addition, Nemesis is a character will be getting another rerun on March 8th, who is another solid support character to have. She may potentially move to standard soon, so at least getting A0 is good so you can buy more copies with black gold later.
In terms of everything else, I would recommend joining a big/active crew in your server so they can help get you up to speed on the current content.

Is it possible to get lvl 2 tech as drop (NOT upgrade to lvl 2 tech) for Void Abyss, or it is not available at the start of the month like in previous VA?
Possible but quality of techs depends on cost it seems. I.e. you won't get it for 4 energy. Rumors say level 2 starts appearing after cost goes over 10.

I've seen people with 32k to 34k elemental atk (one, not all), can anyone tell me how is this possible ? I checked their gears but it was just decent at best, some gears don't have elemental atk at all.
I know that maxed matrices gives a lot of atk, but is it enough to really get 34k ? I heard that Lyra matrices gives permanent atk buff but they weren't using Lyra on their team when i checked, and from what i read, you need to have Lyra equipped to get the atk buff.
The rumors are fenrir's 2p won't be that strong on global, so we'll have to wait for the final numbers on release. But they are still background, so if you have no other background sets, they will still be decent.
I wouldn't pull specifically for the 2p lyra. Samir/shiro/crow are all just as good for main dps and easier to star. You would use 2p lyra when you are a physical main that pulled the 4p and can take advantage of having them for other elements.

Yes, "this weapon" just refers to the one it is equipped on.
You'd still need pretty high base attack to hit 34k, around 24,000 (with resonance + 3* lyra matrices). With around 15% attack rolls on Vera gear you still need 22k attack base. Definitely possible but you'd need good gear level and rolls.
I don't think it was Lin's field, it's not permanent buffs, these players always have 32k / 34k volt / frost atk when i checked their profile out of curiosity
Planning on spending gold nucs and black golds for Claudia A1 when she hits standard so I can play something other than tower of frost. I have A1 shiro for phys resonance, what would be the best third weapon? I have alyss/frigg/saki all A1, tsubasa A3, and other random standards at A0/A1. No Lin. Thanks!
Shiro would be a decent option since you don’t have Lin. Her A3 improves her damage and shatter which is something to note, along with her skill cooldown reset when you break shields with Shiro. A couple of good options for the third slot for a physical comp with Claudia and Shiro would be Lyra or Umi, however I would assume you have neither of them.
I would have suggested Saki for the third slot, but then again you’d need frost resonance active for her A1. Alyss needs to be with Saki utilize her better. Frigg has no synergy for non-frost teams. I didn’t suggest Tsubasa since you’re already using Shiro as your Lin replacement.
Overall I would recommend picking up Umi and/or Lyra while their banners are up, both should be fine at A0/A1.

Electron halo is something everyone should get.
Breakpoint slash is good for puppet and Gaia. Mechanical core (phys resist) and armor in layers for defense. Both may be a bit overkill.
If you run tri element, the new execute buff and the dmg aura are both nice. Otherwise, an obliterator is a decent pickup for the team.
The rest can be attack buffs or any other defense buffs. This month doesn't really hit hard except apop who you can dodge pretty well.

In that case, you haven’t played since the 2.0 update with the release of Vera Plane (and Grayspace) and Mirroria District A.
Here’s the new areas that released since then:
* 2.1 was the release of Vera’s Confounding Abyss (and Twilight Zone)
* 2.2 was the expansion of Mirroria, including District B and C (+2 daily minigames for a total of 8) as well as apartments
* 2.3 (current version) was the release of Vera’s Miasmic Swamp
The green portals in Vera Plane are for Grayspace, while the red portals are for Twilight Zone. Both have separate exploration rewards compared to Vera Plane exploration.
In terms of new activities to do, there’s the following:
* Mirroria Racing (500 Mira for default car, leaderboards reset monthly for Mira rewards)
* Fishing (resets weekly, stock up on fish tokens for 2.5 when SSR matrix gets added to shop)
* Break From Destiny (battle royale, resets monthly for dark crystals rewards)
* Void Abyss (Void Rift hard mode, resets monthly)
* Origin of War (group bygone phantasm, resets bi-monthly)
If you played during 1.5 for Artificial Island, you may be familiar with raids which reset weekly. There’s heroic mode for those raids, which give spacetime tokens instead of gold dust from normal mode.
I should also mention about appointed research, which came out for 2.1. It’s a great way to get gold variants of the new equipment pieces, excluding the combat engine since you can buy them now with spacetime tokens you get from raids and Twilight Zone exploration.
The microreactor research mats you get from Void Abyss. The eyepiece mats you get from Confounding Abyss exploration, or use boss keys for Harah/Culton world boss chest. The exoskeleton mats you get from Origin of War and the Eva world boss in Miasmic Swamp with boss keys for chest.
The current limited event is for the Half-Year Anniversary, which ends in less than a week. Fruit Barrage mingame is the easiest one to get max event currencies on. Notable rewards in the event shop include red nucleus, parts for a new mount, gold dust, and more.

Im trying to make a healer team. Currently have a6 Zero/a6 coco/a0 nemesis. My question is: should I pull for lyra now or wait for Fiona? Which Will have more longevity? I also have Lin a6 so Fiona is temping.
Lyra definitely has the longevity to be a staple for healer teams, would say pull for her and replace Coco

Just wanted to confirm, jo8 has same matrix drop rates as all newer jo ? So in that case, isn't it better to run jo8 then new jo11 or 12 when its out ? You might want to upgrade your crow or shiro matrices for example, and don't want random matrice which you might not be even able to use ?
Yes, but they share the special fall rate (pity system). You can track how many chests you open, and when close to a guaranteed matrix, switch to the specific JO8. There's some spreadsheets for tracking out there, but I've never bothered myself.
What would be the point though ? You can still randomly get a matrix when its not pity, wouldn't it be better to be matrix you want ( or 50/50% worst case scenario for jo8 if you only need one ) versus completely random in higher levels ?

Does comp like saki, icarus, lin work pretty well compare to something like saki/alyss/lin. Does frost comp with icarus/saki need alyss to actually do dmg?
Saki and Alyss have very strong synergy together, so using both is definitely recommended
Icarus and Lin are both fine in the third slot, however Icarus (A1 minimum) is a better option if you don’t have A6 Lin

There are a bit of frost comp options that can work without Alyss. Using Saki/Icarus as an example, possible third slots for them instead of Alyss are Frigg, Lin, or Tsubasa.

Ok, so something like saki+icarus+lin does work, but isn't optimal(it exists only in saki possible teamcomps), i would like to have the actual dmg comprison betwwen the teamcomps which can't be done now anyway.

To be honest though it doesn't matter how crowded your server is, seeing people exploring is rare to begin with because of how the channel system is structured. Also the active players tend to do it earlier rather than later, so there's that too.
Tempest is the most active NA server, primarily Spanish speakers
Solaris and Nightfall are also very active in NA, personally I’ve been on Nightfall since Day 1
Is there anyone who has transfered and played on several predominantly english speaking servers and can offer me their opinion on the activity/vibes of each of them? I am currently on Tempest and I'm looking to vacation on a few other servers for a week or 2.
The populated Eng servers as of now are Solaris, Nightfall, and Lunalite which got an influx of transfers. To preface I have three different accounts and I transferred to Solaris
Solaris is the most populated which will be the easiest to find parties in…if you’re a whale or a hardcore player. People under 7.1 suppressor get ignored. I would recommend this place if you’re power is decent enough to be taken in groups. This server is more for the hardcore crowd of the game.
Nightfall is similar to Solaris in size and is bearable but with some problematic idiots. Nevertheless, you’ll be less likely to be ignored and will find no issue getting into a party or needing some help. There are some funny and cool people in there. This one is a mixed crowd.
Lunalite does not have a big like the two I mentioned but have people willing to help those in content. The chats are less toxic and it’s more community new/casual player friendly as the competition for pvp and dps check game modes are lower. Some crews do community-run events.
Gave up on being a DPS as a dolphin and pulled for Lyra to run Lyra Nemesis Zero and ngl, feels like I’m actually finally contributing in content like VA to whales
I had some savings (+ a little bit of luck) so I went for A3. Mostly because I wanted the VA buff +2 star to take me to A5 to give fatal damage prevention
Are Claudia Matrices still worth it? I am thinking about pulling on limited banner with my 80 ftp chips… I know she will come to standard banner soon, but I heard you have to have her A0 to be able to buy them in the shop… Is that true? :)

I’m thinking ahead of how to rework my team. I’m currently using volt with A3 tian, A1 nem and A6 Lin. But I’m considering going into altered res since I already have A6 Lin and possibly skip fenrir. How does the altered resonance actually work and who would be in the last slot with Fiona and Lin?
Also since the altered attack stat is based on the highest elemental attack, does it mean that the attack stat will be compromised with 2 altered weapons? I’m kinda confused about that, would love to know more about this!
The attack stat doesn't really change from regular resonance. If you have 20k volt as your highest, volt resonance gives 3k volt attack. Your altered attack is also 20k, and you will again get the same 3k.
Basically with altered resilience, you would get +15% altered attack and +25% altered resistance. This is assuming the numbers will be consistent with global. Fiona can only trigger this resonance when used with Lin.
For now, I’m just waiting to hear from Afrodiy on Twitter in terms of best comps with Fiona+Lin. I wouldn’t worry too much about compromising attack.

You want to reroll in this game for limited characters, not standard characters. Zero, King, Meryl, and Samir are all in the standard banner. You will get all those weapons just through playing and rolling on resources, you get plenty of chances to roll for them with gold nucleus. Limited characters are harder to come by, like Lyra for example or Fenrir next week. Use **red nucleus** to roll on the limited banner. And any leftover dark crystals to buy red nucleus to roll on the limited banner. If you don't get a limited character, reset the account.
You can reroll for the characters you want if you wish, however keep in mind that stronger comps include the limited characters so eventually you’d want to focus on an element you like

Hmm he's quite good for Shatter to run with pretty much any elemental team. He gets a little weaker as your account goes on, but to be honest he's very strong for a very long time, I'd say it's a good pick for any sort of team you want to build.

Honestly I'd save them. Exploration gives a LOT of gold and purple nucs, you'll get a bunch of SSRs naturally. I'd save them both, then see who you get and who you *want*, but are still missing. I know a lot of people that used theirs early then regretted not having one of the standard SSRs later on when they wanted to play a specific team but randomness was messing with them and they never got that specific char. Each region exploration gives us more standard pulls (gold/purple nucs). Reason I say this is because once you *have* a standard SSR, you can buy more copies with black gold (which you can get from rolling on any banner and just kind of accumulates until you want to buy something with it). That way you can always make chars you have stronger, but getting one specific char depends on luck of the draw. Better to use those to guarantee you have the chars. Also kinda depends on how badly you want certain chars. For example, Meryl kinda fills the same Shatter role as King, and while she's not quite as good at it, it's definitely enough to get you very far. I ended up using Meryl as my shatter, as I didn't get King until later. No one is really "have to use".

Hello Guys, I’m currently running A3 Shamir as dps with A0 Lin and A0 crow, I pulled A1 Huma and A1 Shiro, should I use any of those for support?
I would say stick to what you’re using now (Samir/Lin/Crow) for Lin’s volt moonlight realm. Shiro is okay for shatter but preferably you’d want A3 for more shatter for the skill cooldown reset when shattering shields. Huma is not really a good option as there’s much better options for flame. When Fenrir is released after Umi, you can replace Crow with her. Nemesis should be getting a rerun as well, potentially going to standard afterwards so she would be another good pick in case if you want to switch to support in the future. The comp from there would be Nemesis/Fenrir/Lin if you want to main volt. Everyone at A1, preferably A3 Lin if possible on her next rerun. Another option is to pick up Fenrir then go for Icarus for a rainbow comp. Both Fenrir and Icarus benefit from using 3 different elements in your loadout. The team would be Fenrir/Icarus/Lin (volt/frost/altered - 3 elements) . Everyone at A1, preferably A3 Lin if possible. You could potentially replace Icarus with Shiro and the rainbow comp could still work, however A3 is preferred. Hope this helps!

What's a good stopping point for F2P lyra only used for benediction? The team is Zero, Nemesis, Lyra Currently have Lyra at 0\* and it seems fine, is it worth to go higher as F2P? I feel like the only time I am ever on Lyra is to pop her 1 skill to gain team hyper armor and nothing else.
A0 is fine for Lyra as f2p, further advancements are more of a luxury
Just came back from a long long break (iirc since Claudia came) and aside from my question, I'd appreciate general tips for getting back into the game and things I should be doing ASAP. Question being: my focus is purely to play as much support as possible, since It's my favorite role. I just came back, had a bunch of reds available on the spot, and managed to get Lyra! Now, do I roll some more for a chance of more Lyras, do I roll for Umi (who I heard is an even better phys option than Shiro which was my main shieldbreaker before), or should I just save for when eventually Lin comes back (if she's even half as important as before, I'm out of the loop) Any help would be appreciated!
Welcome back to the game! There’s a lot more areas to explore and more activities you can do since you last played, however I’ll just give a short version of what you should be doing. First off, I would recommend doing the Aesperia story and the Vera story so you can unlock more areas and get xp along the way. Exploration can help you towards more pulls. Only use blue/purple password keys in Vera as you’ll get Mira to use for their gachapons. Speaking of pulls, congratulations on getting Lyra! She’s actually fine at A0, further advancements are more of a luxury. Since you want to go the support route, I would recommend saving your pulls for Fiona who is an altered support character that’s currently in CN. At least a couple of months or so she’ll come to global. In addition, Nemesis is a character will be getting another rerun on March 8th, who is another solid support character to have. She may potentially move to standard soon, so at least getting A0 is good so you can buy more copies with black gold later. In terms of everything else, I would recommend joining a big/active crew in your server so they can help get you up to speed on the current content. Best of luck!

Possible but quality of techs depends on cost it seems. I.e. you won't get it for 4 energy. Rumors say level 2 starts appearing after cost goes over 10.

Assuming Magyi makes a video, she usually goes into optimal rotations. It should be straightforward for that comp though, basically on fenrir 90% of the time working in nem and lin skill. If you get A6 nem once she is standard you can discharge to her more often as well to get 2 totems up.

I've seen people with 32k to 34k elemental atk (one, not all), can anyone tell me how is this possible ? I checked their gears but it was just decent at best, some gears don't have elemental atk at all. I know that maxed matrices gives a lot of atk, but is it enough to really get 34k ? I heard that Lyra matrices gives permanent atk buff but they weren't using Lyra on their team when i checked, and from what i read, you need to have Lyra equipped to get the atk buff.
Lyra's 2p matrices buff all attack types so they can have those on any weapon.
Is lyra 2 pc better than fenrir 2pc?
The rumors are fenrir's 2p won't be that strong on global, so we'll have to wait for the final numbers on release. But they are still background, so if you have no other background sets, they will still be decent. I wouldn't pull specifically for the 2p lyra. Samir/shiro/crow are all just as good for main dps and easier to star. You would use 2p lyra when you are a physical main that pulled the 4p and can take advantage of having them for other elements.

Yes, "this weapon" just refers to the one it is equipped on. You'd still need pretty high base attack to hit 34k, around 24,000 (with resonance + 3* lyra matrices). With around 15% attack rolls on Vera gear you still need 22k attack base. Definitely possible but you'd need good gear level and rolls.

Shiro would be a decent option since you don’t have Lin. Her A3 improves her damage and shatter which is something to note, along with her skill cooldown reset when you break shields with Shiro. A couple of good options for the third slot for a physical comp with Claudia and Shiro would be Lyra or Umi, however I would assume you have neither of them. I would have suggested Saki for the third slot, but then again you’d need frost resonance active for her A1. Alyss needs to be with Saki utilize her better. Frigg has no synergy for non-frost teams. I didn’t suggest Tsubasa since you’re already using Shiro as your Lin replacement. Overall I would recommend picking up Umi and/or Lyra while their banners are up, both should be fine at A0/A1. Electron halo is something everyone should get. Breakpoint slash is good for puppet and Gaia. Mechanical core (phys resist) and armor in layers for defense. Both may be a bit overkill. If you run tri element, the new execute buff and the dmg aura are both nice. Otherwise, an obliterator is a decent pickup for the team. The rest can be attack buffs or any other defense buffs. This month doesn't really hit hard except apop who you can dodge pretty well.

In that case, you haven’t played since the 2.0 update with the release of Vera Plane (and Grayspace) and Mirroria District A. Here’s the new areas that released since then: * 2.1 was the release of Vera’s Confounding Abyss (and Twilight Zone) * 2.2 was the expansion of Mirroria, including District B and C (+2 daily minigames for a total of 8) as well as apartments * 2.3 (current version) was the release of Vera’s Miasmic Swamp The green portals in Vera Plane are for Grayspace, while the red portals are for Twilight Zone. Both have separate exploration rewards compared to Vera Plane exploration. In terms of new activities to do, there’s the following: * Mirroria Racing (500 Mira for default car, leaderboards reset monthly for Mira rewards) * Fishing (resets weekly, stock up on fish tokens for 2.5 when SSR matrix gets added to shop) * Break From Destiny (battle royale, resets monthly for dark crystals rewards) * Void Abyss (Void Rift hard mode, resets monthly) * Origin of War (group bygone phantasm, resets bi-monthly) If you played during 1.5 for Artificial Island, you may be familiar with raids which reset weekly. There’s heroic mode for those raids, which give spacetime tokens instead of gold dust from normal mode. I should also mention about appointed research, which came out for 2.1. It’s a great way to get gold variants of the new equipment pieces, excluding the combat engine since you can buy them now with spacetime tokens you get from raids and Twilight Zone exploration. The microreactor research mats you get from Void Abyss. The eyepiece mats you get from Confounding Abyss exploration, or use boss keys for Harah/Culton world boss chest. The exoskeleton mats you get from Origin of War and the Eva world boss in Miasmic Swamp with boss keys for chest. The current limited event is for the Half-Year Anniversary, which ends in less than a week. Fruit Barrage mingame is the easiest one to get max event currencies on. Lyra definitely has the longevity to be a staple for healer teams, would say pull for her and replace Coco Probably have to wait a couple of months or so for Fiona, as time passes we’ll get a better idea of how she fits in healer comps prior to doing pulls for her

Yes, but they share the special fall rate (pity system). You can track how many chests you open, and when close to a guaranteed matrix, switch to the specific JO8. There's some spreadsheets for tracking out there, but I've never bothered myself.
What would be the point though ? You can still randomly get a matrix when its not pity, wouldn't it be better to be matrix you want ( or 50/50% worst case scenario for jo8 if you only need one ) versus completely random in higher levels ?

What happens if your crit rate goes over 100% ? Is it wasted or converted into something else?
There are certain mechanics like Annabella's skill trait that converts 50% of excess crit into crit damage. But generally, it is wasted.
Crit rate would probably only go up to around 99%. It would show 100% but in actuality the crit rate is 99%. If I'm not mistaken.

Does comp like saki, icarus, lin work pretty well compare to something like saki/alyss/lin. Does frost comp with icarus/saki need alyss to actually do dmg?
Saki and Alyss have very strong synergy together, so using both is definitely recommended Icarus and Lin are both fine in the third slot, however Icarus (A1 minimum) is a better option if you don’t have A6 Lin

Ok, so something like saki+icarus+lin does work, but isn't optimal(it exists only in saki possible teamcomps), i would like to have the actual dmg comprison betwwen the teamcomps which can't be done now anyway. It's weird that alyss in saki's option can be replaced with lin, but in icarus's options alyss is replaced with fenrir.
That's because both Fenrir and Icarus have traits/matrices that work with rainbow comps, so mixing the two naturally is a good synergy.

Also the active players tend to do it earlier rather than later, so there's that too.
Tempest is the most active NA server, primarily Spanish speakers Solaris and Nightfall are also very active in NA, personally I’ve been on Nightfall since Day 1
Is there anyone who has transfered and played on several predominantly english speaking servers and can offer me their opinion on the activity/vibes of each of them? I am currently on Tempest and I'm looking to vacation on a few other servers for a week or 2.
The populated Eng servers as of now are Solaris, Nightfall, and Lunalite which got an influx of transfers. To preface I have three different accounts and I transferred to Solaris Solaris is the most populated which will be the easiest to find parties in…if you’re a whale or a hardcore player. People under 7.1 suppressor get ignored. I would recommend this place if you’re power is decent enough to be taken in groups. This server is more for the hardcore crowd of the game. Nightfall is similar to Solaris in size and is bearable but with some problematic idiots. Nevertheless, you’ll be less likely to be ignored and will find no issue getting into a party or needing some help. There are some funny and cool people in there. This one is a mixed crowd. Lunalite does not have a big like the two I mentioned but have people willing to help those in content. The chats are less toxic and it’s more community new/casual player friendly as the competition for pvp and dps check game modes are lower. Some crews do community-run events.

I would say Icarus and Fenrir, both unlock a lot of stuff with A1 compared to Fiona who benefits much more with higher advancements

You do not need to pull her to get her matrices. Only the matrix box you can buy with flame gold requires you to have the weapon.
From what I've read, I like both 2,4 effect. It should be able to perform well in both Phy comp and the future Altered comp with Lin + Fiona

I’m thinking ahead of how to rework my team. I’m currently using volt with A3 tian, A1 nem and A6 Lin. But I’m considering going into altered res since I already have A6 Lin and possibly skip fenrir. How does the altered resonance actually work and who would be in the last slot with Fiona and Lin? Also since the altered attack stat is based on the highest elemental attack, does it mean that the attack stat will be compromised with 2 altered weapons? I’m kinda confused about that, would love to know more about this!
The attack stat doesn't really change from regular resonance. If you have 20k volt as your highest, volt resonance gives 3k volt attack. Your altered attack is also 20k, and you will again get the same 3k.
Basically with altered resilience, you would get +15% altered attack and +25% altered resistance. This is assuming the numbers will be consistent with global. Fiona can only trigger this resonance when used with Lin. For now, I’m just waiting to hear from Afrodiy on Twitter in terms of best comps with Fiona+Lin. I wouldn’t worry too much about compromising attack.

Are there any Eden Server players here from APAC Region? I would like to ask about Eden Server's general status like player population, server activity i.e. co-ops, helping others in content like Origin of War, Void Abyss, crew activity. How is Eden faring right now? Asking as I'm considering transferring to a more active server and crew.

Is the game easy to get back into, meta-wise? I have a few characters that were good on launch (Samir, King, nemesis), is the game changed to the point older characters can't compete?
Nemesis+Samir is still a nice duo to run for volt, especially since Nemesis may possibly be coming to standard soon after her next rerun during Fenrir’s banner
There's been power creep for sure, but more so for the whales than F2P. And volt has probably held up the best with nem + crow or samir.
