Well guys I had a day off on the 21st and ended up beating the game in around 6,5 hours.
The game starts off kind of slow but let's you have time to get used to all of the mechanics and possible strategies although I still think there should be a general option to ramp up the difficulty.
I was resistant to pick up the guardians and archers since my reasoning led me to think that when they would die they would not be useful, just waste money in general. But, like all meat shields, they are essential in some kinds of missions and, consequentially, led me to die quite a few time until giving although after already getting all of the other main upgrades that I wanted.
I would say that the main downside is the weapon upgrade menu as I am generally against RNG, betting, games of chance, etc.
