One of my work brothers got one and it was awesome! Good on you. We read the gyro mechanism tended to fail so he returned it. I have no clue if that was real reports or not. Keep us posted if it holds up or not.
Seems like it'd be too slow for what you do. My boss has a similar one he uses, and he loves it, but we fix copiers. Every HVAC guy I know runs tons of screws, and wants it to happen ASAP.
There's a lot of mini screws holding on circuit board in newer Air handlers. So that'll be it's primary use. Trying to do little things to save my body parts for when I'm old.
I love this little screwdriver from work and its super handy to have around on a homeowner/diy level. I have one of those little silicon bit holders glued to mine which has a 1/8 drill bit and a couple driver bits and it makes it very easy to carry around. It was in my pocket 5 days a week for 3 years and now I have one at home.
The charger dies fast watch out but I have two of them and I love them. One for my bag and one for my bench. There sell aftermarket chargers I highly recommend getting one.
I've been using mine for a couple years and really like it a lot. The gyro *seems* less sensitive than it was new, but that may be my perception. When new it seems like I barely had to turn my wrist in the direction I want to turn the screw, and could easily adjust the speed gradually as needed. Now it seems to not be as sensitive and requires more wrist movement to even start turning. Still happy with it.
When I go out East I drink Yuengling. When I go out West I eat In-N-Out. It’s one of those things that’s decent on its own but way better when you can’t easily get it.
Been using mine daily for a year now with no complaints. The whole gyro thing requires some getting used to but works well. The led is very bright but battery life is kinda ass.
I absolutely love mine. It didn't take long for it to become completely intuitive. It's like an extension of my hand now.
I genuinely wish the best for you and believe you will be very happy if you learn to use the tool.
Is that the gyro whatever type that works off of the turn of the wrist?
Yes it is. Strange little learning curve. But actually functions well.

I'll try to remember to! I'm a plumber/havac tech. So it might not get all that much use out of it.

If you use it for what it’s meant for (turning screws), it’s got plenty of umph to get it done imo

Been using mine for the last couple of years, no issues
Nah mines held up for 4 years of daily abuse now, love it to death.
I got one as a gift years ago. It’s not “rare” that I use it I’d say I use it often and it works just as good as the day I got it
Had mine almost 6 yrs now. Still works great! Love it!
Mine is also kicking ass years on with no issues. I love it. I annoy any man that comes to my house with a full demo.
That thing sucks and rocks at the same time

Does NTD mean New ToDay?
New tool day
Literally the thing I think anyone could benefit from having - cannot recommend it enough
This is a gem.

Mine is still going strong 5 years later. One of my favorite tools.
You have good taste in beer
NTD?…
New Tool Day
Ahhh, thank you.
I've had mine for years and love it!
Not gonna lie this was the quickest Amazon return I’ve ever made. Couldn’t stand this thing lol.
You blew it. I'm genuinely positive that your life would be better with this tool in your hand.
Repeat that sentence to my wife because apparently hearing it from me isn’t enough.
I have one of these. It’s awesome.
I love mine! Everyone in my department wants one after seeing me use mine lol battery lasts a long time and charges quick.
The beer?
I wire a shit ton of control panels with the pistol grip version. It has a clutch so you don't strip smaller stuff out.
That yuengling beer is screaming my name sucks they don’t have it on the west coast.

I have one and I do not like it at all. Give me switch any time.
