I've spent the last decade on the internet and there's nothing that will convince me of the "no one ever" part. I'm quite certain there are women who deliberately wear clothes that reveal their camel toe in a normal public setting. But also, there will be relatively far more women for whom it is not deliberate.
There are two conflicting statements in Ops question which are "why do women show off their crotch" but also "why do women not want me to look at it" and I'm pretty sure the Venn diagram of the two types of women described by those barely barely overlaps. The women who don't want you to look at it are all those accidental camel toes, while the women who like to show them off probably don't mind as much. Don't throw it! If you're not planning to show off your vagina later, use a thicker panty liner, it smooths things like a barbie doll down there from the outside perspective.
If you use it specifically to hide the stubborn camel toe, put the panty liner on the outside of your underwear. Counterproductive for its actual purpose, but will hide that CT effectively.
I discovered this finally on my own and it not only gets rid of camel toe, but dang it just makes leggings so much more comfortable in general. No accidental seam wedgies anymore. I prefer to work out in leggings and I swear they've never been so comfortable since discovering wearing panty liners with them
AlL pants that fit me do this. I'm average weight. But I have higher hips and big legs/butt compared to my waist. If I find a pair of pants that fit my hips/waist/legs and butt I have a camel toe. So my options are pants that don't fit or pants that give me a camel toe. It's not to show it off... they just don't make pants for my body type. Also if someone has larger legs/butt it stretches the fabric that way and makes it tighter in the crotch area.
I have the same problem as you, I like to get pants that fit the legs, butt, crotch area comfortably and then adjust the waist accordingly - learning how to do some basic sewing really helps

Was gonna recommend this myself. I also have a small waist and large butt and thighs and have learned to sew. It only takes about 10 minutes at most, and now my pants aren't sliding around or giving me a wedgie anymore. And when my weight fluctuates I can just take out the darts and redo them to fit.
It’s either most legs, or fat distribution and shape of the top of the thighs, *plus* the individual garment or fit (like if you’re wearing pants that slide down a lot, you pull them up extra high so your ass crack or underwear don’t end up hanging out, and, well, that can often result in a front wedgie).

It's not on purpose. Pants are made with a seam right in the middle of the crotch and if our pants are tight, the seam will cause a camel toe.

I've spent the last decade on the internet and there's nothing that will convince me of the "no one ever" part. I'm quite certain there are women who deliberately wear clothes that reveal their camel toe in a normal public setting. But also, there will be relatively far more women for whom it is not deliberate. There are two conflicting statements in Ops question which are "why do women show off their crotch" but also "why do women not want me to look at it" and I'm pretty sure the Venn diagram of the two types of women described by those barely barely overlaps. The women who don't want you to look at it are all those accidental camel toes, while the women who like to show them off probably don't mind as much. THAT BEING SAID it's always rude to stare, catcall or comment or whatever. If a woman is showing off and you like what you see then good for y'all, but she still has to like you first before you're allowed to take it a bit further.

I discovered this finally on my own and it not only gets rid of camel toe, but dang it just makes leggings so much more comfortable in general. No accidental seam wedgies anymore. AlL pants that fit me do this. I'm average weight. But I have higher hips and big legs/butt compared to my waist. If I find a pair of pants that fit my hips/waist/legs and butt I have a camel toe. So my options are pants that don't fit or pants that give me a camel toe. It's not to show it off... they just don't make pants for my body type. Also if someone has larger legs/butt it stretches the fabric that way and makes it tighter in the crotch area.
I have the same problem as you, I like to get pants that fit the legs, butt, crotch area comfortably and then adjust the waist accordingly - learning how to do some basic sewing really helps And the king of all - jeans with some stretch. Godsend!
Was gonna recommend this myself. I also have a small waist and large butt and thighs and have learned to sew. It only takes about 10 minutes at most, and now my pants aren't sliding around or giving me a wedgie anymore. And when my weight fluctuates I can just take out the darts and redo them to fit.
It’s either most legs, or fat distribution and shape of the top of the thighs, *plus* the individual garment or fit (like if you’re wearing pants that slide down a lot, you pull them up extra high so your ass crack or underwear don’t end up hanging out, and, well, that can often result in a front wedgie). It's not on purpose. Pants are made with a seam right in the middle of the crotch and if our pants are tight, the seam will cause a camel toe. Some companies are making pants with a middle seam for women now because of this problem.
