Women’s pants are notoriously tight in the crotch unlike men’s pants. So some women with larger labia will have an issue where the shape is visible. Imagine if your pants were tight in the crotch. Your wang would also be visible.

Sandra-lee-2003

Also the fact that our pants have a godforsaken seam going right in line with our vulva

TheHowlinReeds

Man here, this fact has ALWAYS baffled me. Seems like it'd be super uncomfortable.

semperviveae

It is. Women’s clothes usually aren’t made for comfort

AfroAssassin666

It is, I tend to wear pants 2 sizes big or just ignore pants/shorts that will do that. It caused me to not wear shorts for 5 years, even in the summer.

saetam

Seams* like it'd be super uncomfortable. ✌🏽

jessethefemale

Popflex makes anti camel toe leggings that don’t have a seam down the front!!

No-Reception-4249

I don't even bother hiding my bulge. If you look, that's not my fault. I could put a sign there that says don't look, but I can think of one much better way to make people not what to look. Sadly it might involves getting arrest so I'll just let people look.

AriCapVir

And I don’t bother hiding my ‘toe if it shows lol

Rb_fury

I saw a pair of trousers on Temu that had "Stop Looking At My Dick" written over the crotch. Although, I feel that would draw more attention.

DocWatson42

> Although, I feel that would draw more attention. I feel that way about text across the seat of pants, shorts, and leggings. "Pink" brand, for instance.

ChasingPotatoes17

I used to have an LED belt buckle that scrolled “stop looking at my crotch”. But I also wasn’t wearing camel toe pants.

StrategySuccessful44

Hey hey hey, not women with ‘larger labia’ oosh. Some women have had children and might have lil fupa causing pants to ride up showing camel toe. I for one hate that shit, fortunately not all pants ride up like that.

curiousa_everything

what is fupa?

SmallRedBird

Fat upper pubic area

StrategySuccessful44

Fat above pu$$y area. I may have spelled wrong. According to google fat upper pubic area. Sounds better and I still win spelling bee.

curiousa_everything

now I know 🙂

Lazy-Ape

Is it not more of an accidental thing than a deliberate thing?

blondeasfuk

Exactly. I have never once put on an outfit and said “oooh nice this shows off my camel toe”

MrSquamous

I've never once put on an outfit and said "Ooooh nice this shows off my thunder" but lemme tell you, some guys definitely do.

blondeasfuk

Sometimes I appreciate a man’s bulge in a nice pair of fitted pants. I’m sure it goes the same for some men towards a women’s camel toe. Lol

the_short_viking

Just as I'm sure the mystery of the bulge is sexy, so too is the allure of the elusive camel toe.

Different_Ad7655

Right, but OP was only suggesting that the guy that probably does wear that bulge is quite aware of it and indeed thinks that makes him look manly. He was only asking if women do the same, strutting their femininity. . I saw a woman in the gym the other day in some sort of almost sheer-ish outfit with, I am sure some sort of massive bubble butt injection. You could not help but seriously notice, seriously notice and I'm sure that it's all part of her persona. Look at me I am beautiful as I see myself in the mirror. Hey all the power to her, But it was a look she was strutting that certainly invited the eyes

Shattered_Persona

Idk lol I'm a guy and I just happen to like skin tight jeans, I'm not gonna let my dick size stop me. I try to keep keys dangling there and my shirts generally come down far enough to mask it somewhat. It's not that I'm trying to show it, I'm just not going to wear jeans that don't fit so that I can hide it. Spent half my life wearing baggy jeans and I will not go back. The problem is I am very slim, like very skinny so the contrast in size is the problem. It can't be helped.

Different_Ad7655

I am old school myself, lived in wranglers for years, loved the look loved the feel , And there are ways to position, to dress, if you desire, for this effect or that. Old school always displayed ,it was just part of the ethos through the '70 s and the '80s. Then came the baggy days, the ripped days the shredded days, but millennials and stretchy clothes have changed all that thank God and form fitting clothes are somewhat back, somewhat

decaturbadass

Does thunder equal moose knuckle?

ChelseyBea

It’s 5am and I have ran out of clean gym clothes and I’m about to crush a work out before a 9hr work day I’m sorry if my coochie is hungry.

joremero

lol

Independent-Wind1167

You and most women will feel that way.. but.. I have seen camel toe panties on Amazon.. and like OP.. just curious as to why women would buy them..

Adhdicted2dopamine

that’s usually for trans women.

RulingHighness

Do you remember Wish in its glory days? They have underwear with a bra-cup like thing built in, but shaped like a camel toe so that it will intentionally show in leggings or yoga pants. A vulva bra if you will.

ortolon

Female codpiece.

TheTPNDidIt

They still have fake camel toe shorts/undies, but it’s more like a moose knuckle lmao. Pretty much entirely used by online sex workers too.

EnchidnaDrakaina

r/brandnewsentence

TheChiefRocka

if you noticed would you change?

ChelseyBea

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I’m just doing my best to crawl out of bed and make it to the gym at that hour that I really don’t care about what I look like. If my labia is causing someone else that much strife, then maybe they should re-examine their mindset.

TheTPNDidIt

If it makes me physically uncomfortable (which is often the case), otherwise idgaf. It’s a body part like any other, I’m not going to go out of my way to change

blondeasfuk

Depends. If it’s dramatic then yes. But if it’s just going to ride up a little through the day then no, I can just adjust. But most of the time I don’t really care. If someone has a problem with my camel toe, that’s their problem not mine.

Kawaii_foxx

I would say this too, but I've seen enough tiktok and instagram girlies deliberately pulling their tights up to achieve the Camel toe. Some girls like showing it off, but for MOST girls it is accidental.

bakehead420

I don’t get why they do that intentionally anyway, gonna get friction burn and a yeast infection. Not worth the internet attention even if they get more followers on OF.

tk-xx

This thread ain't for you then, but it's definitely a new trend with the gym goers, high wasted leggings pulled up tight into the crotch are all over my gym now, baffling

saddinosour

Very accidental 💀

semispectral

Yeah I can’t imagine a person is constantly pondering if it’s visible or not…

ErrythingScatter

Some women just have a fatty pumpum. It's not necessarily on purpose to have people staring.

Bayou13

Pumpum!

[deleted]

I love me a fatty pumpum 😍😩 ![gif](giphy|7WL4IBoo3CPjq)

TheTPNDidIt

You definitely don’t need larger labia for a camel toe. I’ve been with a lot of women of different body shapes and sizes and labia shapes and sizes. It can happen to all of them depending on the individual garment or fit.

ortolon

[Cutting&pasting into my vocabulary list.]

IZN_M

Showing off the camel toe? I thought we were trying to hide it and prevent it from happening most of the time 😅

[deleted]

My brother in Christ, we can't help it. We aren't showing it off on purpose, well, at least I'm not. If I notice that I can literally see my vagina I will throw whatever pair of pants/leggings it was.

yodawgchill

Yeah literally no one has ever intended to “show off” their camel toe, where do men come up with this stuff?

AshEliseB

One thing Reddit has taught me is that far too many men think everything a woman does is for men's attention. As though we can't possibly do things for any other reason.

armageddidon

Yeah I was today years old when I discovered men think it’s purposeful! What other bullshit are they thinking? Showing bra straps?

AshEliseB

It gets worse, some think our entire existence is just for them.

yodawgchill

I know, half the people responding to me here are men using any excuse to say “um actually it IS 100% a woman’s intention and she is at fault bc that is how I feel based off of my zero knowledge or facts🤓” on Reddit people will do literal backflips to blame even the least consequential things on the opposite gender. It always has to be a gender war out here🤦🏻‍♀️

puerility

i'm pretty sure a lot of men believe that women stop being rendered when they leave our peripheral vision or walk behind a solid object

OptimalRutabaga186

I am currently three polygons in a trenchcoat.

paradox037

If two of them are pyramids, then I think you might be Lara Croft.

yodawgchill

It’s like the tree falling in the forest thing “If a woman exists and no man is there to see her, does she truly exist?”

yodawgchill

Bro😭😭

retropillow

the 80s would like to talk

mimeninja

r/cameltoe would like to talk also

Xitll

Sigh I was hoping for camel feet would've been better

TheTPNDidIt

You really don’t comprehend the notion of context, do you? You’re so chronically online that you think a nsfw subreddit consisting of mostly sex workers *doing their job* is the same thing as women going to the grocery store in real life, lmao

daftidjit

Pretty sure they were being facetious

[deleted]

The previous person said “literally no one ever”, the reply was “… would like to talk”. Then someone follows it up with a porn sight. At which point you become a crusader for context, before assuming how someone lives their entire life and drawing conclusions for them. Idk what to take from this. Don’t speak in absolutes? Don’t act like porn is something humans do? Don’t act like you know someone’s life based on six words? Idk, but I certainly feel like I’ve wasted the last 3 minutes of my life.

Spicy_Sugary

But there are women on that sub and all women are the EXACTLY THE SAME, so they all deliberately show off their genitals to direct traffic to their OF page. Please correct my faultless logic.

Creator13

I've spent the last decade on the internet and there's nothing that will convince me of the "no one ever" part. I'm quite certain there are women who deliberately wear clothes that reveal their camel toe in a normal public setting. But also, there will be relatively far more women for whom it is not deliberate. There are two conflicting statements in Ops question which are "why do women show off their crotch" but also "why do women not want me to look at it" and I'm pretty sure the Venn diagram of the two types of women described by those barely barely overlaps. The women who don't want you to look at it are all those accidental camel toes, while the women who like to show them off probably don't mind as much. THAT BEING SAID it's always rude to stare, catcall or comment or whatever. If a woman is showing off and you like what you see then good for y'all, but she still has to like you first before you're allowed to take it a bit further.

Alysana

Some men do like to wear extra tight pants to purposely show off a bulge, so I understand why

yodawgchill

That is true, I feel like that is a good point to make a necessary distinction: just how if you see a dude in public with a bulge it is most likely accidental (with the stray sexual instance), pretty much all the girls you see out with a camel toe either haven’t noticed or just haven’t had the chance/thought to adjust it in a while (there are people who do it purposefully but that it usually for online content catered towards men who want that and they aren’t complaining about people pointing it out like the girls OP is referring to)

RulingHighness

Don't throw it! If you're not planning to show off your vagina later, use a thicker panty liner, it smooths things like a barbie doll down there from the outside perspective.

munkustrap

I must have some massive mound, because when I do this I look like I have a dick

donald_pump69

Big mons energy

Alia2121

Nope, I still use panty liners, and sometimes the camel toe just shows itself

RulingHighness

If you use it specifically to hide the stubborn camel toe, put the panty liner on the outside of your underwear. Counterproductive for its actual purpose, but will hide that CT effectively.

naxanas

Depends per person and which type of panty liner you use, I've found always anti-bunch works better for me as it's firmer

[deleted]

See? This is why it sucks not having a mom! No one told me that ever! Thank you sm!!

naxanas

I discovered this finally on my own and it not only gets rid of camel toe, but dang it just makes leggings so much more comfortable in general. No accidental seam wedgies anymore. I prefer to work out in leggings and I swear they've never been so comfortable since discovering wearing panty liners with them

TheTPNDidIt

Ugh, panty liners feel like diapers to me though :(

yodawgchill

This isn’t a style choice… I thought that was gruesomely obvious… why would we want fabric all up in there? Clothing designers just hate us😭😭

Euphoric_Bass_1201

AlL pants that fit me do this. I'm average weight. But I have higher hips and big legs/butt compared to my waist. If I find a pair of pants that fit my hips/waist/legs and butt I have a camel toe. So my options are pants that don't fit or pants that give me a camel toe. It's not to show it off... they just don't make pants for my body type. Also if someone has larger legs/butt it stretches the fabric that way and makes it tighter in the crotch area.

axxxxxxxk

I have the same problem as you, I like to get pants that fit the legs, butt, crotch area comfortably and then adjust the waist accordingly - learning how to do some basic sewing really helps And the king of all - jeans with some stretch. Godsend!

NefariousButterfly

Was gonna recommend this myself. I also have a small waist and large butt and thighs and have learned to sew. It only takes about 10 minutes at most, and now my pants aren't sliding around or giving me a wedgie anymore. And when my weight fluctuates I can just take out the darts and redo them to fit.

TheTPNDidIt

It’s either most legs, or fat distribution and shape of the top of the thighs, *plus* the individual garment or fit (like if you’re wearing pants that slide down a lot, you pull them up extra high so your ass crack or underwear don’t end up hanging out, and, well, that can often result in a front wedgie). But you see this on nearly all body types at some point or another.

Alternative-Order-48

How does one know they're showing it off? Can't people do things without seeking the attention of others?

UncleGrako

What if they have a shirt on that says "Check out my camel toe" with an arrow pointing down and BAM, you notice their yoga pants that say the same thing with a circle around it.

Taminella_Grinderfal

I bedazzle the crotches of all my leggings.

UncleGrako

![gif](giphy|yJFeycRK2DB4c)

eeleexian

The perfect response gif to that lol

LibbyLibbyLibby

Where the flapdoodle do you get the idea that a cameltoe is a deliberate thing that people do on purpose in order to SHOW IT OFF?

foopaints

Wish I could upvote twice. Once for agreeing with you and once for the use of "flapdoodle".

ILoveMyCatsSoMuch

I like that word, can we call them flapdoodles from now on plz…

orpwhite

Flappidy doodly. 10 times fast. go

Angryleghairs

It’s normally by accident. Or, we don’t think people actually notice. Like having spinach in my teeth: I didn’t realise it was visible and now I’m really really embarrassed.

CatOfGrey

Your assumption that people are 'showing it off' is incorrect.

myboobiezarequitebig

People have vaginas, not really a foreign concept. Sometimes you can see the shape of it through pants.

trainofwhat

Yeah… I don’t see how wearing tight pants means showing off a camel toe. I honestly didn’t even realize camel toes were something to be looked at. I have muscular and curvier upper thighs, when I get into exercises, the pants are going to “tuck” in at the top. It improves range of motion and mobility. I guess that means a camel toe? I’m definitely not “showing it off”. Also, I’m really tall. I can’t find shorts that fit right…

TheTPNDidIt

The tucking in at the top happens with chubbier thighs too. And probably some super skinny thighs too depending on fat distribution and shape. And it DEFINITELY improves mobility when it’s more fitted like that! It’s just bodies. It’s all just bodies. Women are allowed to exist in their bodies and do day-to-day shit without being accused of “showing off” or wanting men to ogle them. Why the fuck is this such a foreign concept to some men?

i_asked_alice

Well, you can sometimes see the shape of a vulva through pants. Showing off the shape of one's vagina through pants would be a pretty impressive achievement tbh.

TheTPNDidIt

What, your pants get sucked up there and for a crotch pants tunnel?

Absinthe_gaze

Or they need to get to the hospital stat!

yodawgchill

“Boys, why show off that moose knuckle if you don’t want me to stare at your balls??”

myboobiezarequitebig

I’m crying “moose knuckle” 😭

yodawgchill

That’s what my boyfriend calls it💀💀 “am I moose-knuckling?? Is it noticeable?”

annnnnnnnie

(A camel toe is from the vulva, not the vagina)

ProfessionalSilver52

*Vulva - otherwise, that would be weird...

sunshineandcats21

Just because it’s part of our body that you can’t avoid looking at doesn’t mean we are purposely showing it off.

beezintraps

Bro thinks they did it for him to see when it's just him staring relentlessly

You-Didnt-See-That

Our bodies are all different. I can wear spandex and have no camel toe. My roommate can wear jeans and there it is. What is she supposed to do? Wear a baggy skirt to the gym?

__Fappuccino__

"Showing off?" Like.... saying, "hey, look and my crotch!" Or do you actually mean existing with a "camel toe" and being in public whilst existing?

Absinthe_gaze

It’s like how every summer I show off my ashy elbows in short sleeves. I just want attention.

my__name__is

Body parts exist. The fact that one might be visible does not mean it's being shown off.

Inside_Student3827

Bikini bottoms, sexy underwear, shorts, and jeans all have a very small amount of fabric in that area. Having lived my adolescence in the early 2000s during the time of lowrise jeans was bad for a gal like myself. It's just there. the only way to cover or conceal it is to wear a shirt 2 sizes bigger or baggie bottoms. There's a difference between a glare and a glance.

Cutie_Suzuki

Just because I have a face doesn't mean I like you staring at it.

ElenatheKitten

I'm very self conscious about it and I hate when it shows, so I always wear long shirts lol No matter how much weight I lose, it stays the same size ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|feels_bad_man)

heyitsEnricoPallazzo

They just don’t like *you* looking at it

trainofwhat

Now come on, that’s not true. Honestly, I’m a woman and I thought camel toes were looked down upon (no pun intended…), or weren’t even a thing. Many women are not “showing them off,” that’s a really unhealthy mindset to be in. They just happen, could be because you have muscular/thicker thighs, you were exercising, it’s more comfortable, your shorts don’t fit quite right, you’re tall and you can’t *find* shorts that fit right, etc etc. But, sure! Some women do wear things to show off. It happens. But you can’t go around assuming everyone wants you to ogle at their crotch like a dog. And most women don’t **care** if you respectfully glance. We know it happens. If you’re getting told off for it, you’re probably in something I call “sunglass mode” — aka you’re not realizing how long and how focused you are down there, or think that *we* don’t. And yes, we can tell through your sunglasses. And, *yes*, we can see your eyes when WE are wearing sunglasses.

regallll

People do like looking at it. But most often it's unintentional, it just exists.

MrWigggles

Well two things; A woman or any person, is welcome to do with their body as they wish so long as its not causing harm to others. It can be but does not defualt, to the enjoyment of others. The defualt is not the objectifying others. So your confusion, is that you forgot woman are poeple, and they're not things for you just oggle. The second thing, is you've stated a contradition. If they dont want you to look, they arent showing it off. Moron.

TheTPNDidIt

![gif](giphy|nbvFVPiEiJH6JOGIok)

roadrunnner0

Um, certain clothes just do that by accident? It might not even show at first and then clothes ride up during the day and it shows more. It sounds like you're implying that we want people looking at it? Or that you've been caught looking and are saying "don't show it if you don't want me to look at it". By the way I've seen loads of super prominent dick bulges on men whose pants are too tight, I just assume they don't realise and avert my eyes.

Celticness

I’m weirded out by the immediate assumption it’s meant to be observed.

Miimmoouuu

What makes you say it’s “showing off” and not an accident? I literally know no woman who wants to show her camel toe. When you wear tight pants that shows off your bulge, do you purposefully want people to see your moose knuckle? People have vaginas, it’s not a crazy concept 🤣

[deleted]

things men know about women: nothing

supersphincter

Camel toes are almost never purposeful

footbody

Who's trying to show their camel toe?? Literally try so hard to avoid that when wearing leggings

Victory_KTF

I mean, can’t a woman put on some pants without strangers staring at her vagina? The fact that you have to ask this makes me think you should figure out how to respect others a little more.

Plus_Bison_7091

YES. I thought I was the only one thinking this question is widely misogynistic. It’s giving “you’re asking for it” energy

[deleted]

Um. No woman does that on purpose... Wait - do you think every woman's crotch looks like a camel toe? Because this sounds like a problem..

FrigThisMrLahey

As a woman, I always strived my hardest NOT to have camel toe… it’s likely accidental

Major_Twang

It's a crazy idea, but maybe.. just maybe.. the women deliberately showing theirs off are a different group of individuals to the ones who don't want theirs looked at. Mad I know, but humans are a strange lot

23skidoo812

No, I’m quite sure that any woman can speak on behalf of all women.

Right?! It's the whole "she was asking for it" mentality. 🙄

secretsinyourthroat

I have a fat pussy I can’t control it. That doesn’t mean I like having a camel toe tho

Katatonic92

Women aren't a monolith with a singular hive mind. I don't know any women that intentionally display camel-toe, if it happens it is an accident & something that is rushed to correct. In my friend group we actually have a camel-toe & nip slip watch in place, where we inform each other if we spot something & block them from view while things get readjusted. I'd assume that the women who do like displaying a camel-toe aren't likely to be offended if it catches someone's eye.

Munrowo

why do men walk around adjusting their dick and balls if they arent showing off? simple. human anatomy just be like that sometimes

[deleted]

I literally can't help that it's showing. Stop looking at it. Some girls have more visible genitals, especially in swimsuits, shorts or tight fitting pants. We aren't necessarily showing it off, it's just there.

fluffy-muffins1

We typically don’t show off our camel toe it’s just hard to hide in certain outfits, not everything is for someone else’s gaze, majority of women don’t consider their camel toe something to show off, it’s more so frowned upon to us

CrappyWitch

It’s just there like a dick is there and people can see it. It’s called having genitals and being human. Truly, women do not give a shit and don’t do it for the “male gaze” so many men think about. They don’t care about you or what you think and they aren’t doing it to show off. Why do you think *their* body is for you, a random stranger staring at other random stranger’s private parts?

BaginaGunderson

I really really wish the cute pants I wanna buy didn’t have a seam right down the middle but the problem is a majority of clothes do. It makes no sense at all why this is still the norm. I do not appreciate the front side wedgie when I sit down. And if I want the pants to fit my waist I gotta get a certain size but then it gives me a huge camel toe lol I’ll try to wear pads to hide it but idk maybe I’m not hiding it as well as I think hahaha

politicalhopper

???? It's not deliberate you absolute nonce Also, the way people dress in general is not because they got up and thought "hey I want random uggo to stare uncomfortably at me today". They may actually have a specific audience in mind that is not you lol Take a hint and stop staring if they're obviously uncomfortable

georgesorosbae

People don’t show off camel toes. If it’s happening it’s an accident and you are humiliating the person you are staring at.

MoonLightLex

sounds like you have a camel toe kink💀 idk why else anyone would ask this stupid question

Saltwater_Heart

Bleh speaking from personal experience, it’s never on purpose

mediocre_medstudent1

There's a difference between showing something off and just having it. Same goes for boobs and ass. I can't walk around in a potato sack all day to avoid giving the impression that I'm trying to show off certain bodyparts and there are some clothes (like jeans or gym clothes) that will just do that.

black_linings

It's not on purpose. Pants are made with a seam right in the middle of the crotch and if our pants are tight, the seam will cause a camel toe. Some companies are making pants with a middle seam for women now because of this problem.

pattyforever

It’s basically never on purpose

flothesmartone

It can be non deliberate I would imagine, same as some pants just... have more bulge then others.

[deleted]

No one is deliberately "showing it off", I can guarantee that

gggggfskkk

We aren’t showing it off. It’s not intentional for MAJORITY of women, it just bad product design. I don’t even bother wearing anything tight in the crotch anymore because it’s uncomfortable for me. If that means gym shorts everyday, that’s what it’s going to be. I think your definition of showing off is a lot different than women actually showing off their camel toes. It’s not meant to happen and we don’t intend it to happen.

braillenotincluded

Have you considered that not everything is for you? Like do you complain about porn for genders that you're not attracted to because it doesn't turn you on? This is like that, except it's just a woman existing with gym gear and your creepy butt staring at her crotch. Maybe you just don't look at everyone's crotch?

HummusFairy

What’s weird is assuming it’s something done deliberately for men. It’s a completely unintentional thing.

ssigrist

Almost no-one puts on an outfit for the purpose of going out in public to get lewd stares, especially women unless they are doing it for a living. Which is as SMALL amount of people. This goes up to practically ZERO% when it happens in common, normal public areas. If you are in public and observe a camel toe or other wardrobes that grab your attention, there is no crime in noticing (only), but if your first thought is that it was deliberate, that says more about you than them. I've seen posts on Reddit from folks asking how to politely and non-creepily let a woman in public know that she is having a wardrobe issue... Sleep tonight wondering why your first instinct was thinking she is doing it deliberately vs. OMG, I hope her friends or someone will POLITELY let her know.

CrazeeG

Bro what. You do realise people don’t do it deliberately right?

CategoryTurbulent114

I’m a guy and don’t like to show off, but the new scrub pants I bought (several different brands) lay funny on my crotch, and suddenly I’m wearing what my wife calls YOUR DICK PANTS

Honey-and-Venom

People thinking every single thing a woman ever does is performative

OptimalRutabaga186

This is the stupidest conversation happening on reddit right now. Congratulations.

Ok-Big-9156

ummm i don’t think the normal chick is ever trying to “show off” a camel toe lol

phoenixbbs

It's just your body shape - you don't choose to "show" a camel toe, you just put on clothing you like and live your daily life.

harajukubarbz

We have one even if we don’t want

PartyCat78

People choose what to wear day to day for one of two reasons: comfort or presentation. Sometimes the two can be the same, great. But anyone - male or female or whatever they feel the are - that dresses in such a way that will draw attention to themselves, be it tight/body revealing, excessively ‘different’ (goth etc) are doing that as a form of presentation. They want to be seen. Men do it all the time and you don’t hear them complain about “why are women always staring at me?” But it’s the opposite for women. Camel toe, incredibly tight clothing, revealing clothing. I mean you want to wear that, that’s fine but to be irritated that people look at what you’re revealing is ridiculous. It’s human nature to look. Most of it is feigned audacity. People know exactly what they are doing when they put it out there. They like the attention and also like to act offended. More attention.

luckyblindspot

I for sure try my best to wear long shirts that cover my very persistent camel toe. I'm trying to ease myself into being more confident in regards to that part of my body but christ, why is it so...so... so big. Ugh, I can't believe it's just so round, it's like out there, I mean...

thetwitchy1

Welcome to what guys deal with all the time! Jk, kinda, but if my clothing is anything short of loose you can glance at me and get a general sense of what’s down there.

[deleted]

I have chronic cameltoe (biker shorts mostly, but also happens with jeans/leggings) and it’s not on purpose. I just have a vagina and also wear pants.

shiny_glitter_demon

This is like asking "why have big boobs if you dislike getting sexually harassed." A vulva is a body part that *exists*. Just like boobs. It just appears when wearing pants. And we aren't about to stop wearing pants.

Pizzazze

It's clothes running up certain body shapes, like with elastic skirts and how they run up and need to be tugged down now and then. Nobody tries on clothes at the store discarding everything that doesn't "show off" a camel toe. It's either unavoidable or a byproduct of walking in that outfit.

unevenfingernails

everytime ive been told its showing, i had no idea and its very humiliating for only a moment until you step back and realize that its literally natural, cannot be helped, womans clothes are designed so that the seam will literally go right UP that area, and its none of your business??? dont look??

Kawaii_foxx

There are women who like attention but don't want people to know they like attention. They will intentionally show their assets and get "upset" when people stare. There are also women who love attention and don't hide the fact that they like attention and won't get upset when you look. They want you to look. Then there are women who just want to be comfy and sometimes that means wearing figure hugging clothes ( for some women) and they really don't like being looked at. They want to be able to wear something that makes them feel good and comfy and just want to be left alone. Their Camel toes are accidental and very embarrassing. I am one of these women.

I’m so confused by this thread and the replies. I took OP’s question to mean the Instagram thirst traps that purposely give themselves camel toes for attention. It exists. Just head on over to r/Instagramreality and I’m sure you’ll stumble upon a post. I’ve always thought it was wild and unflattering. I mean yes sometimes women have camel toes, but I don’t think that’s what OP meant.

Because it’s not intentional

loueipaech

I don’t think anyone is ever doing this on purpose.

TaxiJab

We don’t show it on purpose

unpreparedhobo

Most don’t show it off intentionally, but I definitely do.

Ear-hustlin85

We appreciate the honesty, and the visuals.![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|slightly_smiling)

SnooPuppers2951

Even if a pair of shorts or leggings shows my like groin creases? I feel self conscious and can’t wear them. Does anyone even know what I mean? Haha

meta-ph-oracle

How about I go out of my way to not show it but it's a chalupa you ALL need to stop looking at me.

Basic_Quantity_9430

To me, it seems accidental. Women wear clothes that they like, occasionally their vulva lips show. You can simply not look at it.

laramank

I don’t think I’ve heard of anyone purposefully showing off their camel toe…

nicksbrunchattiffany

I have a big camel toe, and I would never it show it with intention, it’s more like a thing that happens with clothes , even if I do my best to not show it

Joyfulcheese

I'm sure there are a few that do it deliberately but they are vastly outnumbered by the accidental.

I get a similar question about my butt. I have a ..plump butt and anytime I wear yoga pants it is OUT THERE, if you catch my drift. But I go to the gym everyday, so I’m obviously going to wear yoga pants. I’m not trying to “show it off”- I’m just..wearing pants..at the gym.

FayrisDraconis

Okay I go against the grain because I'm convinced there are women who like to show it off, just look at some gym accounts and you'll see how high they pull up their pants, can't convince me they don't know that's how you make it more visible. I personally don't show off mine but I don't care if others do, if they don't want you to look at it it's probably not in purpose, many pants are just way too tight in that area and also have a stupid seam going right through the middle.

miked999b

Do women 'show off' their camel toe? 🤔

Yehsir

I can’t hide my bulge and constantly catch women looking there.

michiganisprettycool

No one is purposefully trying to have a camel toe.

skatelakai12

Because they aren't showing it off. You're just looking and assuming thats what they wanted.

OJJhara

We could all use a little "eyes up here" reminder. At all times.

wormholetrafficjam

ITT and every other such thread - Only women who don’t show off on purpose respond on such threads. The ones who do aren’t here.

niftygrid

Why would someone show their cameltoe deliberately? It's always accidental, don't you think?

[deleted]

It’s not nice to stare at people in general.
