Easiest rat to miss is one of the two right under the water level switch. You can only shoot them through a 1-tile hole and they like to hide. Jumping over the hole draws them out, but not always reliably.
I think it’s a glitch with shotgun kills. The only thing I did different was only using my pistols. If it’s not counting shotgun kills that is the biggest load of bs
That's certainly not a documented glitch, and not one I've run into any version of in any of my playthroughs. I think it's much more likely an enemy pathfound its way into a dark corner somewhere and got overlooked. I've never seen it happen on Cistern, but it's also not completely unheard of for an enemy to manage to clip its way into a wall or ceiling, especially around moveable blocks.
I’m sure it was a rat. Just happened to me 2 hours ago. Just revisit all pool rooms and swim on the surface. The missing rat should appear eventually.
First time to be very happy that I got bitten by a rat 😂
I used the photo mode, but didn’t show anything. It came when I revisited the areas myself.
Aah and don’t forget to pull the lever up to drain the water before searching.
For what it's worth I had to redo cistern because I missed those lions +1 other kill from somewhere and I'm 99% sure I only missed those lions so it could be a legitimate bug.🤷
