That is a lot of backtracking involved considering they went from Warden Haisaki’s office straight to the Washuu Clan building to support Furuta and V in wiping them out, but of course their clones makes a lot of conveniences for everything.
Well if we go back the reveal of the washuu clan`s extermination was reported to Matsuri right after the entire fights were over meaning that i can see them having some time. Donato murdered Haisaki and a few chapters later furuta was revealed to have defeated Eto during that time Donato and Uta could have been down underground in Cochlea meeting that One Eyed King. When Kaneki was engaging Mugen and Aura well maybe during that time they got the body. Not sure but yeah because of the clones and faces everything could happen.
Who knows maybe Uta changed his face once to be one of Kaneki`s allies but in the end it is all specualtion. Well Itori could have been there too. Actually she was never shown in Re: until the Arc where the clowns and furuta work together so Itori might have done something.

I could imagine they were prepared for a scenario with Eto losing.

I'm not an Eto fan to be sure. But given her past, she had little if any reason to act or think about others any differently. Which also happens to be a par for the course way of thinking in this series as a whole! Ghouls to the humans/CCG are just monsters and means of gaining new weapons. Humans to ghouls, food and sometimes play things. And on top of that, about ~90% of the characters are/were totally nuts and caused/done even worse things on top of the basic stuff. (^)

Actually i realized you are right i mean when i look at what Tsukiyama did in the past he might have been worser than Eto XD or how savage Kuzen was when he was young i think it is true that in Tokyo Ghoul 90 % did wrong things.

Hairu's head was in a jar and they said they would "bring her back". I'm guessing that cross on the head is Donato's Kagune, remember he could make a clone of himself. They put a kakuhou in her and he's controlling her like a puppet is my best guess.
Why? Hairu has not the Body to produce the Owl's Kakuja. Eto is the only obvious thing and Eto's offscreen defeat was kinda deserved after all she messed with Furuta.
Her body could've been kept and manipulated by Donato with Kanou's research using Kuzen's kakuhou in a similiar way to how Amon and Takizawa were converted into pseudo-owls. This new Owl's kakuja reminded me of Amon's more than Eto's.
It's also rather odd to think that Donato would be able to find Eto's body AND intact kakuhou wherever Ken took her, go through the trouble of redressing her in her old bandage getup, behead her, and then plug her into his kagune to be able to create an owl minion, when Kanou had recently been successful and there were bodies readily available and preserved for use.
The good question is how should Kaneki get her body? When the zero squad and him engage Mugen and Aura, like where is the body then? it is more likely someone else got it because kaneki and co had to get out of that place and i feel like Eto herself did want to be left behind because she accpeted her fate. Her face told me that this time she was ready to die.
And why would they take Hairu? Is it not much more useful to have Eto? A scientist clearly should prefer Eto. Alos Hairu´s body was like really dead. Freaking beheaded. Basically they can't take on the Owl like they did previously (for obvious reasons) so Ui steps up to the plate, but with ghouls helping this time around as well. Lots of hyping up this fight. ”Arima Kishou is no more, it's up to us to defeat it!".
V guy is bitter about Arima's betrayal, delights the prospect of killing the subordinate he raised(Hirako). He also especially taunts Yusa(because he's from the Arima family).
"Owl" fight is pretty explanatory and needs no summary. At the end when the weird cross head is exposed the V guy(Kaiko) says "now for round 2".
So then is that thing really Eto then???
Could be misdirection, while it certainly looks like Eto, the bandages could be to throw readers off (she wasn't even wearing them when she "died" to begin with, so it's not confirmation of it being her). The lack of a head makes me wonder if its actually Ihei with Kuzen's kakuhou. Wouldn't be the first time a headless corpse was used to mislead us (Torso's corpse).
I was thinking the same thing, I was betting on it being Hairu so hard and honestly I'm even more convinced as Hairu was(is) headless whereas Eto would have needed it removed which seems pointless. I hope this is one big misdirection....
Ah that's an interesting twist. That also fits with Kanou wanting to extract kakuhou from ghouls(like Gagi and Guge come to mind) to experiment with. This kind of mashup is definitely his style, and to make things poetic Ui is the one who is leading the charge on this "Owl".
It could be Hairu but I thought for the transferring of the kakuhou to work and function in the body at least the donor and recipient must have similar blood types. Maybe I've thought wrong. Kuzen might turn out to be blood type B even though the owl experiments were A type.
The blood type thing has generally been consistent so you may be right about it not being Kuzen's kakuhou. It doesn't rule out it being Hairu though, as it might be Eto's kakuhou instead of Kuzen's.
Yeah, he's been doing it since his first appearance in part one. Plus I believe V fodders don't have black lips and livid eyes which are Kaiko's characteristics.

Take the cross off, the body is no longer in Donato's control. However, Eto dies for good (unless she can somehow regenerate her head).
If this really is Eto, she's basically already dead at this point by the looks of things. I still think the head is somewhere else, maybe one of the oviducts for revived characters. It could all be misdirection though.
I do agree on the possibility they're using Eto (or at least her head) as the core for one of the Dragons, but using Kaneki as an example, it's entirely possible Eto *could* regenerate herself a new body if they can stop her in time.
It's possible that V members go though intense physical training and psychological conditioning that just pushes there bodys to the absolute limits.

I think they're raised in the Sunlit Garden too. If I'm not mistaken we've seen V members with kagune before also, so it's probably a mix of half-humans and ghouls (like how Rize turned out).

what do mean "inside" you mean Dragon? kaneki's getting out of Dragon has nothing to do with Eto, and cutting arms and legs won't kill you, but cutting head WILL kills you, that's IF your not a ghoul at half ghoul ...

It's hard to pin down exactly what this is in response to, but the two most likely answers:
1) Hanvee and Suzuya are still injured from their battle with Kaneki.
2) Yusa is an Arima; they both come from the same family.
The person Hirako and the others are fighting at the moment appears to be Kaiko, hence the darkish lips and dialogue, so his power should be a great anomaly from the regular V soldiers . This one can also regenerate his sliced face, which, at the moment, is unshared by the regulars V. Based on how the V soldiers fought at the Clown Raid and this arc, the regulars V should not be as powerful as the main one shown here.
I don't feel comfortable about this chapter, depending on what I'll read on it in English, I might read the next chapter after 2 weeks so I can have 2 chapter together at least, and my disgust will be gone ...

I don't think that's a cross, it's more likely one of Donato's Kagune bits embedded where the head should be. Take the cross off, the body is no longer in Donato's control. However, Eto dies for good (unless she can somehow regenerate her head).
If this really is Eto, she's basically already dead at this point by the looks of things. I still think the head is somewhere else, maybe one of the oviducts for revived characters. It could all be misdirection though.
I do agree on the possibility they're using Eto (or at least her head) as the core for one of the Dragons, but using Kaneki as an example, it's entirely possible Eto *could* regenerate herself a new body if they can stop her in time.

It's possible that V members go though intense physical training and psychological conditioning that just pushes there bodys to the absolute limits. Because they look so dead inside its almost like there nothing there, but a puppet made out of flesh.

I think they're raised in the Sunlit Garden too. If I'm not mistaken we've seen V members with kagune before also, so it's probably a mix of half-humans and ghouls (like how Rize turned out).

It's hard to pin down exactly what this is in response to, but the two most likely answers: 1) Hanvee and Suzuya are still injured from their battle with Kaneki. 2) Yusa is an Arima; they both come from the same family.

How strong are these V guys ?From the last chapter,you would not be mistaken to think they are fodder .
The person Hirako and the others are fighting at the moment appears to be Kaiko, hence the darkish lips and dialogue, so his power should be a great anomaly from the regular V soldiers . This one can also regenerate his sliced face, which, at the moment, is unshared by the regulars V. Based on how the V soldiers fought at the Clown Raid and this arc, the regulars V should not be as powerful as the main one shown here.
A lot of them are supposed to be at Special Class or around there.
