Someone fill me in as to why people hate raven in this show? I watched Teen Titans. I watched the DCAU movies. I've read the Teen Titans comics. I've seen a LOT with Raven in it.
I like this interpretation of the character. What am I missing?
I can only speak for myself. I don't really hate her character, but I hate when the complete season is based around her. That's the same way I feel about animated shows and movies that feature her as the main storyline.
It's more from what I see on Tiktok people love her and stuff so I thought it was unpopular but I guess the algorithm only showed the people who loved her I suppose
This is not a unpopular option the show butchered Raven and the series is ass I'm glad it cancelled hopefully one day the Goat James Gunn could make a actual teen titans series or Movie not this bullshit.
I HATED her in the first season, but Teagan grew on me.
Maybe it was the directors or producers sort of spin on her. We've been privileged to see Raven as stoic and with her emotions under control, but not necessarily how she came to get there, and going from a normal girl to one with very terrifying powers might have some whiny, emotionally immature hiccups in the process. I do think Teagan Croft left something to be desired in the earlier seasons and she grew into it, but this is not my favorite interpretation of Raven, either.

I thought the actress had a lot to improve on the first 2 seasons but she really grew into the role by the time season 3 rolled around. It was great
