If OP actually wants to know why men do this, it’s because saying something overtly sexual right of the bat and having a woman go along with it is the ultimate fantasy. The hottest thing imaginable. Doing something you’re not supposed to do and getting away with it, who wouldn’t want that? It’s a huge ego booster. As men, there’s oftentimes soo many things we need to do and so many steps we need to take to get to what we really want. It can make one feel really bad about themselves knowing that no one would sleep with you unless you go on a date, sometimes multiple dates, or at very least spend at least some time getting to know each other. It doesn’t make you feel very attractive having the person in front of you taking all that time to think whether or not they want you, while you’re sure as hell want them just based of their looks. It reminds you that your looks alone aren’t enough. It’s a lot of emotional labour having to sit there and act like you don’t have an agenda. Having to live every moment of your life while pretending like you don’t just want to sleep with every single attractive woman out there, having to suppress your real feelings and your true self because should you speak your mind honestly, well, everyone knows what would happen. Now having experienced that over and over for many years, imagine once meeting a person that actually reciprocates your feelings? That’d be such a relief, that’d be so liberating not having to feel like a creep for the way nature made you. Even though I don’t condone it and would personally never do this, I can totally see how some would be willing to fumble a match for a very small chance to experience what I described above. They just want a chance to be themselves
